Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, saubere Zimmer, Abendessen im eigenen kleinen Restaurant möglich. Frühstück war ok, es wurde immer alles nachgefüllt.

Etwas hellhörig, sonst aber alles ok.

Comfortable hotel with newer rooms

Rooms are very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Bathroom and shower are really spacious (they could add a glass wall on the shower to prevent wetting the entire bathroom when you shower!) but other than that it’s great! Electric kettle in the room. They have coffee/tea available at the center hallway of the Room building and the breakfast/dinner is served at an adjacent building a little older looking.

That the dining room and rooms are in separate buildings.

It’s called a guesthouse, but the room was like a brand new hotel, spacious room &private bathroom.

Friendly welcome, good restaurant. I liked it that you could choose a personal breakfast item which was freshly prepared by the kitchen staff.

Walk from reception to rooms was a bit dark at night.

Comfortable rooms with great views. Convenient location close to main road and close to Hofn. The breakfast and dinner were good - nice staff. We had no complaints.

it was perfect for a night or two. Having a full breakfast put a smile on our face.

lovely property. best breakfast during whole trip. was great to get a main course with expanded breakfast buffet.

Very happy Australians!

We loved Lilja Guesthouse and stayed two nights so we could explore the local area thoroughly. The rooms were comfortable, warm and there was even fresh coffee in the common area each day. The breakfast was a highlight for us and very welcome after two weeks on the road making our own. We also recommend the restaurant for dinner, make sure to order the chocolate cake! Perhaps the most memorable thing will be the lambs greeting us at our window as they roamed freely around the property which my 9 year old just loved. Would highly recommend Lilja Guesthouse for families and would stay again.

Laundry facilities would have made our stay perfect.

The food was really lovely and staff were a pleasure to deal with. Great location for the northern lights and glacier and a stop on the way east.

Pretty new and clean of staying, feel like home

Nice breakfast, much choice of food provided! The room and the building is very clean and brand-new. The environment is quiet as nothing around the hotel, just mountains and glacier (you are facing the glacier).

Nothing, I think this room and hotel is perfect if you are driving yourself.

The room was very spacious and you can park the car in front of the building. The location was ideal as it was located near the main road.

There was not enough space in the bathroom to hang clothes/towels and put our toiletries.

I would happily recommend Lilja Guesthouse to friends. It was a wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful location with great views. The room was spacious and comfortable. The whole guesthouse was perfectly designed and we'll certainly return one day.

Not a lot to say really. The rooms could do with a fridge.

There is a minor machine noisy (Fan or something else) like non stop in whole night, may not suitable for noisy sensitive person, if you are, may avoid room number 17 and 18.

nice stay, honestly I wouldn’t go back.

the room they provided us had two twin beds instead of the double one we booked. I liked the way the staff solved the issue giving us a deluxe room at the same price.

The restaurant menu is a bit disappointing, food is average and the staff is not prepared at all regarding tourists informations.

Exceptional

The location was great if you are driving around Iceland, we could see the Northern lights, the room was very clean, and the staff awesome.

Breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was, but it might be the general price over there. Other than that the rest exceeded our expectations !
