Aussichtsreiche Unterkunft in absoluter Steillage

Die wunderbare Aussicht. Die Lage oberhalb der Stadt. Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und nett eingerichtet. Gutes Frühstück. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Wer mit dem Auto kommt muss Glück haben einen Parkplatz zu ergattern. Das Hotel hat nur sehr wenige zu vermieten, der Rest ist Glückssache.

het uitzicht is spectaculair. De rust snachts is heerlijk want buiten het centrum.

de douche is erg klein, zeker voor 2 personen. Steeds wandelen, trappen, geen of weinig bussen, taxi is redelijk duur

Net hotel op grote hoogte….

Nette en schone kamer waarin ik met gemak met mijn gehele gezin kon verblijven.

De accommodatie ligt vrij hoog in Taormina. Het is echt een hele wandeling terug naar het hotel vanaf het centrum.

Kleines gutes Hotel mit fantastischer Aussicht

Wunderschöne Lage mit fantastischem Panorama. Gut vom Bahnhof Taormina mit Bus erreichtbar. Nur 10 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, ca. 100 Meter Höheunterschied!

Das Zusatzubett war recht unbequem!

Tolles Hotel, mit super Aussicht auf Etna, sehr nettes Personal

Wir haben die Junior Suite erhalten, da wir zu dritt waren. Sehr schönes Zimmer, und grosses Bad mit riesiger Dusche. Schöne Aussicht bis zum Etna. Frühstück war sehr lieblich hergerichtet, und frisch. Es wurde sofort wieder gekocht, wenn etwas fehlte. Sehr nettes Personal, sehr hilfsbereit. Parkplatz abgeschlossen bei der Unterkunft verfügbar jedoch nur für 3 Autos. Tolle Aussicht.

Für ältere Leute nicht geeignet. Es gibt viele Treppen, da Hotel im Hang. Es gibt keinen Lift. Wenig Parkplätze.

Das Zimmer war geräumig uns super ausgestattet. Das Bad sehr schön, neu und groß. Der blick vom balkon ein traum. Auch das autoparkservice (extra zu zahlen) war super und verlässlich.

An ideal, comfortable stay.

The suite was very comfortable, clean and exactly as pictured. House keeping was daily and the staff were all very helpful, friendly and accommodating- speaking just enough English to assist me when necessary and allowing for a later check in after some travel issues, which I was very grateful for. The hotel is only around a 15 minute walk from the centre of Taormina but it is a steep incline and quite a few steps coming back to the hotel, so be prepared for this. It may not be an ideal location for older people without a car or travellers who don’t want to break a sweat on the way home (you are quite high up the hill). However, this was not a problem for me, so this did not affect my stay. The breakfast was also nice, albeit not abundant with choices, but the view from the lobby is an exceptional panoramic view of the town and Mount Etna which is a nice way to start your day.

If I had to nitpick, the WiFi at the property was not great and I actually could only connect to it on one side of the room. The private terrace is also not super private as other guests walk by regularly and can see into the terrace, as well as those staying in the rooms above. However, these were very small issues and my overall stay at Villa Greta was perfect.

We got a free upgrade and had a huge terrace with an amazing view and free bottle of wine on arrival. Bet was comfy and bathroom was outstanding! And the staff were so helpful with parking our car for us each day!

Location and view from room was exceptional, The room was small but conformable for a short stay.

Languages had to be carried by hand to the room via 100 stair steps, no other facility available.

Stayed at Junior Suite with balcony. Amazing view, very clean room. Looks like Recently renewed. While going down it is 5-10 minutes walk to the center.

Superb

The view is amazing, with the balcony off the bedroom it was nice to just sit and take in the view. The room itself was lovely, as were the other rooms (we had a look around at check out). The staff were all friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The discount for beds and umbrella at Naxos beach was an added bonus. The walk to the town was not bad (wear comfy shoes!!) Room was clean and smelt gorgeous. A really nice family feel, rather than a huge hotel.

Bathroom was a little bit uncomfortable and sometimes smells from the drains, but it's only a small problem when everything else was perfect.

A very pleasant stay in quiet area and walkable to town center

The view from the room was amazing! The staff was so nice they let us check in way ahead of Check-in time when we arrived early in the morning. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.

There was a bit of climbing to get in and out of the hotel and around 15 mins of walking and climbing from the town center. Not much of a big deal to us but can be challenging for some, especially with luggage.

Superb

The view of Etna from windowds and terraces is magnificent. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we had in Sicily. They have a proper kitchen and they serve a very nice continental breakfast (scrambled eggs, cucambers, tomatoes, grilled vegetables, cheese, ham....) along with the typical Italian. The room was very clean with a spacious bathroom. It takes about 15 minutes to the centre of the town (up the stairs on return), but it's a nice walk. The view from the rooms, dining room and the terrace is worth all the walking.

The beds (matrasses) are a bit worn out and could be renewed. There are endless stairs in the hotel, but the whole Taormina is about stairs :)
