Easy drive from Dublin airport, friendly host, and within sight and easy walk of Cashel Rock.

Rockville B&B is within sight and easy walk of Cashel Rock and only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Patrick is a friendly host with a quirky sense of humour, who made us feel very welcome. Our room and en-suite bathroom were spacious and nicely furnished. Even in the rain, Cashel was an easy drive from Dublin Airport, and we're pleased we started out self-drive tour of Ireland from there and not Dublin.

Perfect location and wonderful host! A+

Perfect location just steps from the castle and downtown - the double/twin room has a great view of the castle! Patrick is delightful and funny and a wonderful host! The breakfast was delicious. The beds were so comfortable and they had extra blankets if needed.

An ideal place to stay to visit the Rock of Cashel. You can walk to the site.

Breakfast was an Irish Breakfast with cereal, juice, toast and fruit. The host was friendly and helpful. We were able to use an on-site kitchen and lounge area

Towels were rough, bed was a little lumpy.

Landlord stayed up to let us in later than we'd originally said as the Ferry was late arriving. He was very attentive when we arrived even though it was so late. He was also very lovely in the morning with a great sense of humour. The Rock of Cashel is well worth the visit. It was great that we could get there at opening time before the crowds.

Rockville House is a charming, friendly, comfortable place that embodies the very best of small town Ireland.

The house is quaint and very welcoming, with roses in the garden and a nice curved stone wall all around. My room was cozy, clean and nicely decorated. Patrick (the proprietor) clearly works hard to keep the place in fine shape. I was treated with such kindness that I felt completely comfortable as a solo traveler. Breakfast was wonderful. I highly recommend Rockville House to future visitors who want to experience the best of all that Cashel has to offer.

I can’t think of anything I disliked.

The area was spot on close to everything.

The bedroom didn't flow, not enough bedside tables. No tv in the room if you wanted to stay in room on wet days.

Very close to Rock of Cashel and restaurants are a short walk. The hosts are exceptional. If you look up Irish hospitality in the dictionary you’ll see Patricks picture there. And Heidi provided an excellent breakfast.

Nice place with gorgeous view of the Rock of Cashel!

Patrick and Heidi were wonderful hosts. Very accommodating of our dietary restrictions and lots of fun.

Comfortable, affordable, Room for improvement with showers.

Location and price. Homely feel.

Host was trying to make people feel welcome with his sense of humour, but some of the comments that he made didn't sit well with the group. Showers were barely functional. Only a trickle of water coming out.

Brilliant place to stay

Warm welcoming hosts, facilities so close to town and the rock of Cashel

There was no kettle in the room however, we were able to use the kitchen facilities as much as we wanted.

We were in a downstairs room with another hotel room above us- ceilings seemed super thin & very creaky floors. the family staying in the above room were extremely loud walking/running around until midnight. not sure how to improve on this but was the only negative!!

Strongly recommended!

We stayed here for one night during our honeymoon on the road. One of the best Irish stays. The owners are so kind and funny, especially Patrick, really great! From the room, spacious and quiet, you could see Rock of Cashel, what more could you want? The bed was comfortable and the breakfast special. If you stay here you won't regret it!
