Centraal in Bacalar

Ik had de private room, die was ruim inclusief keukentje. De lokatie is perfect, pal aan het centrale plein, maar toch rustig.

De private room ligt achter het hostel waardoor je geen contact hebt met de andere gasten.

Fabuleux !!

Il est important de mentionner que nous avons modifié notre réservation au moment de l'arrivée. La première chambre attribuée était située sur un étage où la cuisine et la salle de bain étaient partagées par 2 autres chambres. Nous avons donc payé un extra pour obtenir la suite familiale (privée) et nous n'avons pas regretté. La différence entre les chambres partagées et les chambres privées est immense. Il y a beaucoup plus d'installations, la pièce est mieux insonorisée et équipée, plus grande. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous avons apprécié l'aide des réceptionnistes qui nous ont offert un service exceptionnel. Les lits sont confortables, la salle de bain est immense, la localisation est parfaitement au centre de Bacalar et nous avons même un restaurant juste en dessous de l'hôtel qui offre 15% de rabais aux locataires de l'hôtel. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce détail ! Il y a encore beaucoup de bonnes choses à dire sur cet hostel, mais nous vous recommandons de le découvrir par vous-mêmes et de choisir des chambres privées pour mieux profiter du séjour.

La seule chose qui manquait dans la suite familiale était un long miroir et peut-être un micro-onde, mais ce ne sont que des détails futiles. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans la suite familiale et nous recommanderons cet endroit assurément !! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location in Bacalar

This property has a great location right in the town Square. The staff waited for me as I didn’t arrive until after midnight very friendly and helpful and give you a 10% discount at the restaurant beside.

The bathroom doesn’t have any air-conditioning and is musty and stinky so leaving your lovely air-conditioned room to go to a stinky. Bathroom is kind of unpleasant. Otherwise things were great.

This property is a fraudulent nightmare

first time that I’m staying in a very noisy, uncomfortable and expensive property. As usual, you book for one price on Booking then when at the property they say that there is an extra fee over the extra fee that they already apply. It’s a loop, they point out Booking then no one gives you an answer, at the end of the day, I paid a different price than the original booking, almost the double just for the record.

Central location, comfortable stay.

Very spacious accommodation with equipped kitchen including coffee machine. Nice bathroom. Big comfortable bed. Located right on the main square so an excellent location to explore Bacalar. The location is loud when there is anything happening on the square but it didn’t bother us. Clean and safe.

Great location, right in the city square. Easy check in. Decent size room as well.

Facilities were okay like the washroom and such. Only 1 so if someone's using the shower it holds up the rest of the rooms. Could hear a bit of noise from the outside but it's right in the Centro so that is obvious lol

Simple, welcome, easeful

We liked the way the staff responded to the fact that there was a mistake through booking.com. We had reserved a different room to which we were given which was disappointing but the situation was handled with care & attention. A fair solution was found.

it’s very central

it is noisy with 2 restaurants at the front, but they did say so in advance and I didn’t mind. the first room they gave me had a small window to the outside and a large one on the corridor, which meant lights from the corridor were disturbing. the second room they gave me was nice.

The shower was nice and the kitchen. The staff was very helpful!

Our room didn’t smell good because of some kind of air machine of the restaurant. Also we didn’t have windows in our room.

overall really good value for money

the little apartment was very cute, had a small kitchen with the most essentials and the place itself was quite central.

the shower was close to being not functional with the little amount of water that came out.

Good

The location is very nice, really close to the Laguna and on the main square of Bacalar. Also, the shared kitchen has everything you need, including fresh water to drink. The room itself had airco.

Our room was beneath ground level and only had a very small high window. Outside of that window there was a generator that was constantly running, which woke us up several times...

Great location, right in thw centre of town on the Zocolo. Nice big room, very clean and comfortable. Lovely staff who went out of their way to try and help with any questions I had.

Lovely little place right in the heart of Bacalar

Location is unbeatable right in the centre of Bacalar, good kitchen for you to cook in and friendly staff who answered all our questions. Basic but clean and comfy room, we decided to get late check out and stay for another hour in the room instead of going out in the rain

Water pressure in the show was a bit :/ and the ac was really loud

- The location is great - best shower we‘ve had in Mexiko (warm water and proper water pressure)

- no cleaning at all for 3 days although we used the door sign we were supposed to if we wanted cleaning. - no towel in the kitchen - wifi wasn’t great, which is not ideal if you’re working remotely

at the very centre of the city, pata de perro has helpful employees

the beds are very uncomfortable. the windows dirty. we didn’t get hot water the first day. there is a humidity problem at the ground floor - we suggest they buy humidity absorbers to put in every room.

amazing location, really lovely and helpful staff and such a great place! really nice air conditioned rooms with comfy beds and big spacious kitchen which was so great! we were staying here as part of our gap year travels and it was lovely :)

Really nice!

Great location! Very close to the lagoon and restaurants. In the middle of the central the park and ruins. The rooms were really nice with good air condition and safety box. Really nice kitchen. The guy in the reception saved us when we had to check out very early before check out, because we forgot to do it the night before

Only one bathroom, so if somebody was using it you would have to wait - but it was okay. There was also a lot of rules and regulations about the sheets, beds etc.

Perfect location and Convienent. Would stay again

staff at the hostel were very friendly and helpful and willing to answer any questions you had. Check in was easy. We had a private room which was very spacious and had everything in that you need. It has the option of air con or fan. WiFi at the hostel was perfect and did not lose connection during our stay. The bathrooms were big and very clean. location of this hostel is perfect for exploring. it is in the heart of the town and close to everything. If you are staying here you also get discount at the restaurants outside.

It would be helpful to send guests the name of the restaurant that is outside as our maps took us the wrong way and we initially couldn’t find the hostel. The shower is also not very powerful and I found it was either boiling hot or ice cold with no inbetween
