We had an amazing stay - 10 out of 10

The property was in a great location just below the castle wall with easy access to all attractions. It’s a very comfy Studio with a really high standard of decoration and cleanliness. The owners were friendly and really made our stay, making us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, they were available to give us information when required and very kindly showed us round the amazing building they are restoring.

It was a very pleasant experience for us. I highly recommend Pelletier du Claux.

Location-it’s just a few minutes walk to the citadel/old Town. Beauty-Carcassone is a medieval place rich in history. Service- I would say it’s a 5star kind of service extended to us. Since, we came from Avignon, Fred picked us up at the train station and drove us again to the station on our way to Lourdes. Cleanliness-the unit where we stayed is immaculately clean.

Charming boutique apartment in Carcassonne

From booking it and reading about this accommodation my partner and I were very excited to stay here on our trip to Carcassonne. And it did not disappoint. From our initial meeting of Fred and Delphine they were the most amazing hosts. Being collected from the airport to the accommodation while getting some sightseeing on the way was an added bonus. The apartment was absolutely spotless, very comfortable with everything we needed facilities wise. The building itself is a beautiful old style building hundreds of years old that has been turned into a very comfortable, modern but charming stay. We had everything at our doorstep from fresh croissants in the morning from the local shop next door to little treats that were given to us from Delphine and Fred. The location was perfect for us being on the foothills of the medieval castle and only a 10 minutes walk into the town also. The area was lovely with great little bars and restaurants on the door step. Credit to the owners on turning this beautiful building into a fantastic accommodation to stay at. Highly recommended for us and we will definitely be back.

Exceptional

Everything Location perfect. Accomodation very historical and extremely well furnished. We stayed in the 1 bedroomed apartment with comfortable bed, brilliant shower room and updated well equipped kitchen and eating area. WiFi and Bluetooth Hi fi system. Overlooking the quiet street, and extra room to the rear with castle view. Fred and Dalphene were wonderful hosts and could not do enough for you

They are presently renovating other rooms and know they will be tastefully upgraded to reflect the character of the building. We felt we were living in a castle. Highly recommended. Plenty of eateries on the street below and 5 minutes walk to the Cite which also has plenty to choose from. Mini market next door for day to day items, and Truffle Wine bar across the road. Perfect apartment for two with exceptional, personal service!

Fred and Delphine are wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The apartment is beautifully renovated in a historic building. We loved the accommodations, the location and the hosts! We would definitely stay here again.

Simply Stunning

All aspects of our stay were amazing. Fred and Delphine were just so kind and generous. From airport pick up, a warm welcome and to support to direct activities. The property was stunning with such a depth of history. We were delighted with the apartment. The view was breathtaking. The apartment was amazing -it was extremely comfortably, beautifully decorated and had everything that one could possibly need to make a stay so special. Highly recommend this property

Fred and Delphine - such exceptional hosts! The apartment was superb; and was spotlessly cleaned when we arrived. It is located in a superb position, close to the castle but also walking distance from the town and supermarket.

5 star luxury with b and b hospitality

Parking available, walking distance to all the main sites. Fred and delphine are sure to go the extra mile in making your stay a memorable one, with all the added touches. The room has its own kitchen with all amenities and a window that opens allowing for fresh air.

Excellent stay

The apartment was located in a quiet neighborhood in the center. We could walk everywhere easily. The building was totally renewed and our apartment very spacious, cleaned and very modern. Heating and wifi was working all times. The shower and the bed was very confortable. The kitchen had all what we needed to cook. We felt very welcomed by Fred and Delphine. They installed a baby bed for our child and provided a parking space in the same house. They also offered us a late check out with no extra cost because no guests were coming later. They really went above our expectations. I would definitely come back to this accommodation in Carcassone.

Beautiful old building which has been lovingly renovated to a high standard. Excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We were made very welcome. we stayed in a stylish studio apartment with great attention to detail.

Excellent!!

It's a historic and very beautiful house, very close to the old city. It's completely furnished with a very careful and beautiful interiors design. Fred and Delphine are very kind and nice hosts. I would go back again anytime

Special place. We'll be back!

1. Off street, secure parking at the property (a huge benefit). 2. The equipment. An electric hob x2, microwave, nespresso machine, fridge, ice compartment, full ramge of glasses and plates etc. 3. The ambience. Spectacular. 4. The romance. Fred and Delphine made us feel particularly welcome. The views from behind the studio are incredible. 5. The Rowenta silent fan! It was hot when we were here but this fan was supplied and is so good that I am going to buy one. 6. The location. A great vibe in the road. Lovely restaurants and wine bars on your doorstep. 7. Our hosts. Fred and Delphine were incredible. Fred even put up with my very rusty French. 8. The building itself. Amazing architecture. 9. Good WiFi. Nice TV. The level of specification matches and exceeds most 5 star hotels. 10. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Classy linen. 11. Great shower / wet room. 12. Excellent separate WC (always a nice touch)
