Un auténtico paraíso

Increíble. No hay palabras para definir nuestra estancia en Casa Origen. La zona es espectacular y la paz y tranquilidad que se siente es difícilmente igualable. La suite Ciudad Perdida es una auténtica maravilla y el personal siempre supo atender cualquier necesidad por nuestra parte. Agradecimiento especial a Liliana por su colaboración en la contratación de los traslados y servicios de masajes.

Schöne Anlage mit Potenzial

Das Haus liegt in einem wunderbaren großen tropischen Garten, alles ist sehr gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern, der Pool ist toll. Liliana am Empfang spricht gut Englisch.

Unser Superior Zimmer lag im Nebengebäude unter dem Restaurant und der Küche und war recht dunkel. Das Bad und das Zimmer sind 1 Raum ohne Abtrennung. Die Toilettenspülung laut. Abends ist das Restaurant ausgestorben. Es lädt auch nichts dazu ein, dort zu bleiben (es fehlt leise Musik z.B.).

The property is beautiful to relax.

For a luxury hotel they’re details that can be improved. 1. Not garbage cans in the bedroom. 2. The food-alcohol menu can be better 3. The hotel has not options for the beach.

Disappointing

Good location Friendly staff

No hot water Generator was on because of electricity problems. Very loud - had to sleep with ear-plugs. Got up at 6:30 due to noise. Our “superior” room was closest to this generator. Safe not in working order Much more expensive than other properties - not good value for money.

Beautiful property near Tayrona Park

Lilliana was an incredible host who went above and beyond to give us great information about Tayrona Park and the surrounding area. She was also very helpful in arranging transportation between the hotel and Cartagena with short notice. Our group was very pleased overall!

The hotel is somewhat remote and as a result dining options are realistically limited to the property itself

Perfect

Casa Origen is simply exquisite. We stayed on the Ciudad Perdida suite, which is beautiful. A short walk to a gorgeous, quiet beach where the river meets the sea. In the jungle, by the sea, beautiful pool, great food, lovely staff. Couldn't get any better.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the forest close to Tayrona National Park. Highly recommendable!!!

The location, just 5 minutes by car from Tayrona National Park entrance is a plus. The facilities are amazing, very nice and comfortable rooms, beautiful scenery, 5 minutes walk from Los Naranjos beach

There were only two people in the kitchen, and the meals took longer to be prepared when there were a couple of table ordering on the restaurant. The fact that the food is prepared upon order is a big plus, and the food was pretty good, but a couple of more cooks would streamline the process

A stunning property. Really sweet staff. Overall such a peaceful and beautiful place. The pictures don’t do it justice! Other hotel guests were also very kind.

Idilic place walking distance from the beach.

impeccable, beautiful, well appointed, super clean, sophisticated.

The access road was not ideal, bumpy, and unpaved so tough on the car. Room had no TV.

Nice nature, terribly trained staff. The facilities aT compound need To coordinate much better.

Its a nice, serene location. 5 minute walk to beach. Lots of nature. Style is unusual... no windows, open air basically, but surprisingly, relatively comfortable.

The hotel is located inside a compound with 5 other hotels. All share beach and common areas. We were told we could travel anywhere, even inside the other hotels. We walked into Casa Barlovento, and were rudely stopped and yelled at by a thin female worker. Outrageous conduct. We were simply breathing. We complained to management. They did not apologize and didnt respond. Just like shrugged their shoulders. Female workers at restaurant also mean and, you can tell they hate serving. Male waiter was fine. They are there for themselves playing their loud music. Mind you, this hotel is marketed as a serene location. Maybe it is a culture thing, but we travel a lot, and in places which cost at this level, we definitely expected much better treatment.

Beautiful tropical paradise.

Excellent hotel in every respect. Beautiful setting, excellent room, lovely pool and great food and service.

Be careful the map on booking.com shows the hotel as inside Tayrona national park but it is just outside. We were caught out by this. Also Wi-fi did not really work in our room but was excellent in all public areas.
