Clean room, decent breakfast!

Loved the room - cleanliness! No view , there was a window overlooking another apartment building very close by so we had to keep curtains closed.

We had paid for room inclusive of breakfast but every morning, we were billed for the breakfast (breakfast selection wasn’t great, very limited) - upon checkout, extra charges for breakfast were put on our card and we were double charged for 2 days of breakfast. I only caught this because of my habit of reviewing charges - I had to call the hotel to reverse those extra charges. Beware of this!

Location, no parking in the front of the building to load/unload, check in with staff was HORRIBLE!! Took 1 hour and we ended up missing dinner reservations. The best thing about this location is it’s across the street from Wawa

Stay was amazing. The location was perfect, the room was nice, the decor in the hotel was beautiful!

I liked that the staff (Ms. Britta) and (Daisia) front desk receptionist were professional, friendly, and personable. They greeted me with a smile gave recommendations for local food places, just overall nice and friendly staff!

Modern, city hotel, good if you can use the lobby and ensure a street view on a high floor. Well located for Uber or met

Lobby was great, nice outside area for city hotel.

We ended up in a room that overlooked this very unattractive quad area. It was the only natural light source in an otherwise well put together room, with modern decor. I tried unsuccessfully to change rooms but the hotel was fully booked. The supervisor was sympathetic and gave us a complimentary breakfast for two voucher which was a nice gesture. As a result though we only used the room to sleep in as it was such a depressing view.

It was a clean visit at a great location.

They held my baggage prior to check in and after check out. Front desk and bar staff were really nice and straightforward.

The breakfast value itself was hard to understand. It had more of a $10 value. I did not like how certain things were quietly mentioned almost in a way to reduce chances of someone requesting it. The dude that held me and others a bit unprofessional, I thought it was just the day but the next day he had the same attitude.

The hotel is located around several restaurants. If you love sushi. Please try the restaurant next to the hotel. The hotel restaurant bartenders are awesome. The White House is 1 miles walking distance from the hotel.

Comfortable staycation

AC Marriot was a nice hotel to have a staycation and go see the fireworks in DC. The hotel is modern and very welcoming. Lobby cool and inviting. Free coffee in the morning. It is in a nice location for train and several restaurants. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the pillows perfect weight. The rooms were solid, cool, and quiet. We never heard any hallway noise or neighbors.

Our room didn't have a view, but we didn't care. We didn't stay there for the view. I thought my priceline reservation had free breakfast listed, but when we got there it wasn't on our reservation. It was fine, several places around there with breakfast.

Swanky decor, updated modern style. Reception desk (night crew) was friendly.

There was what looked like hardened stool on the base of the toilet. It can't be missed If the bathroom was cleaned throughly, We brought our dog but there was hardly any outdoor grassy area where our dog can do her business.

Overall was a great stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I booked a double room on a high floor but was given a king room on a low floor. I called to the front desk and told them of the mistake and it was corrected. Was placed in a double room on the 14th floor immediately.

Pay attention to the room requests.
