Nice spot with great staff, maybe a bit overpriced

The staff were lovely, super friendly and personable. I had requested a quiet room and they made sure to put me in a high room away from foot traffic, and it was clear that some thought had gone into the request. The "resort fee" was a surprise and a bit steep (I find it strange that non-resorts now charge resort fees, I don't actually need Wifi, or free water, etc) but was nicely offset by the $25 dining credit they allot. Used it to have breakfast, which was fine.

The room smelled like it had been smoked it then sprayed with febreeze, which gave me a bit of a migraine. On the plus side, you could open the windows, so was able to air it out - I wish that had been done prior to my stay. The bathroom was pretty dated and had a cheap plastic nozzle with very little water pressure. Overall, the hotel was a bit expensive for what it was.

Gute Lage für einen Stadtbesuch. Insbesondere Georgetown ist zu Fuss oder mit dem Bus sehr einfach erreichbar. Insgesamt gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

a quiet, comfortable holiday sojourn while visiting our relatives in town.

Modern, clean and spacious with a recent remodel and a vast entry level lounge; very comfortable beds and well appointed rooms. We really liked the L’Occitane shower and bath favors.

Temperature of the room fluctuated a lot.

St. Gregory's Hotel and Nicole's exceptional service are a winning combination for an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended!

We did have an issue with our television when we first checked in, but it was quickly solved by Nicole and we appreciate her attentiveness to any concern we had.

A unique experimented with an elegant style.

Nicole was sooo lovely. She made my entire experience at this hotel. Her personality and the attention to detail to make sure I had a great stay was so warming. The facilities were nice and cleanly and the breakfast was amazing. Definitely can’t wait to come back.

AC turns on and off all night, hard to get a restful sleep

Modern, mostly clean (rusty bathroom shelves that need to be replaced), friendly and helpful staff for the most part (except the midnight staff who tried to convince me that the AC SHOULD work even though I told him it wasn't).

The AC didn't work so I had to move room at 2 am the first night. The AC worked at the new room but it kept turning on and off. Apparently it's a "green building" feature. The AC supposedly doesn't turn on until you walk in the room and stand in front of the AC to report your presence. Although in my new room which was a suite, the living room AC remained on even when I left the room. The bedroom AC would turn off after it reached the desired temperature. Then I'd wake up in the middle of the night because it's too warm, knowing there was nothing I could do to turn it back on. And each time I begin to doze back off to sleep the AC would turn on really loudly and startle me and wake me up. Repeat that a few times a night. I never had a restful sleep during my stay. I doubt there's that much savings by keeping the AC off for a couple hours a night, so is it really worth disturbing the guest's sleep? I was there for business and I was so tired the entire week due to poor sleep.

everything was great but the thermostat/AC in my room wasn’t working and never got below 78 degrees. the hotel tried to fix it but were unable to. they tried to comp what they could for the inconvenience

Our visit to DC was awesome. Our stay at the St. Gregory was blah.

Much of the staff were very friendly and helpful

A couple of staff members were condescending. resort fee. while room was spacious the lighting was terrible. it would be very helpful to have a place (outside of the bathroom) to dry hair and put on make-up. the lighting did not allow for that. The a/c was very difficult to control. The front desk did send up a technician that was very helpful but did not solve the problem.

The room, the amenities and especially the dilapidated bathroom were not worth the rate they charge.

The bathroom was old and dilapidated. It was also dimly lit. Amenities were minimal. At check in we asked to get a room on the same floor as my brother’s room but the receptionist didn’t do it. The room was closer to a 2-star motel. Not worth the money they charged.

Nice location but doesn’t offer much in amenities.

The location is great. Restaurants all around and within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Rooms were very dark, not enough lighting in bathroom. Small issues like the hairdryer was broken and I didn’t like that more coffee was not provided during the stay. These are minor, but for the price point, I expected more. Additionally, there were no signs or information on how to access the hotel gym.

We had a great stay at the St. Gregory Hotel, and I would definitely come again.

The location and amenities were great. Customer service was top-notch, the room was well-laid out and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. It is also close to several subway lines and bus routes, and within easy walking distance of the Lincoln Memorial.

The room was expensive. However, other hotels in the area charge similar rates, so if you are willing to spend the money to stay in this area, you might as well stay here.

Great hotel to stay for a few days and visit DC. the location of the hotel offers a lot of flexibility to visit the city

Friendly staff and room was nicely cleaned. Also staff is available at any time during night.

The sofa bed was not prepared with bed sheets and blanket despite e-mail communication.

well located for the business downtown. Friendly doorman and reception. Lovely architecture, and décor. Very warm and quaint. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with lots of pillows

Restaurant is quiet small and not easy to get into. Restaurant not good at variety, or special requests. I asked for no cayenne pepper as i can not tolerate it and it came back twice with it all over. We ordered still water and got sparkling every time

Overall not a great value. Better ways to pay and stay.

Facilities are gorgeous, beautiful restaurant inside. Staff members were very efficient.

The price to you pay for the value is not enough. Downstairs is gorgeous but the room was the size of a closet and included amenities as shown in photos were not impressive. Pictures were deceiving. Not a great value for the amount you spend.
