Tranquility, comfort, perfect hosts ( including Ginge) ….. all add up to a fabulous break away.

The peaceful setting and perfect hosts.

Personal choice and maybe because I am short but the overhead shower was a little overpowering for me. Shower was in good working thought with good pressure and was nice and warm.

Relaxing base for trip to Somerset

A mini-home from home, which we used as a base for tourist visits in the surrounding area. Dawn the owner was so welcoming and her communication was great. Lovely modern bathroom with large shower, main room with comfortable bed, plenty of storage space for clothes, two-seater sofa and TV. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher and all the essentials needed. Also a small table with two stools for eating at. There’s an outside seating area, which we didn’t use as the weather wasn’t kind to us during our stay!!! The ‘apartment’ is adjoined to the owners house, but quiet as the adjoining rooms are not often used by the owner. It has great WiFi if this is important to you. The property is situated on a small lane and is very quiet, but also within 0.5 mile of the village (with post office and pub). It has extensive grounds that are lovely to stroll around and the Fossil Lodge is great to chill-out in away from it all. We’re hoping to return soon.

Although the photos don’t show it, we were a little surprised that the property didn’t have a lounge. The bedroom and seating area are within one large room. Which was very comfortable and all that is needed !!

The Old Flour Mill was in a great location, with lots of lovely places to see and great places to eat . The owners David and Dawn were very welcoming helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean, we would thoroughly recommend it as the place to stay

Just perfect

A super apartment with everything we needed for a few nights away. Dawn and David were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A great location for exploring the surrounding area and trips to the coast. Very happy we discovered The Old Flour Mill.

Excellent accommodation in a peaceful setting

The annex has been tastefully decorated, the kitchen is well equipped and there is a lovely patio area outside. The grounds are extensive. Close to main road links for visiting various attractions, but no traffic noise. Dawn and David are very friendly and welcoming while respecting your privacy. They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable, including bread, milk and bottles of water on arrival. Had dinner at The Five Dials in the local village which was excellent but recommend booking in advance. We enjoyed a 7 night stay and would definitely recommend.

Quiet, tasteful country retreat.

A fabulous 4 night stay

Fabulous apartment. Clean, comfortable and lovely and friendly hosts. Dawn gave us some great tips on where to go to visit. Nice touch with bread,milk and jam left for us. Beautiful location and we loved the area. A great 4 night trip.

Exceptional

Set in a beautiful, quite location this idyllic accommodation is beautifully furnished. The bed is comfy and the kitchen was equipped with all that we needed and the bathroom had a good shower. Dawn and David, the host, could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and down to the river to explore for fossils.

There was nothing that we did not like. Everything was perfect for a quite and relaxing stay.

Fantastic stay

The accommodation is ideal for a restful break, everything you need is provided including little extras. Owners friendly but not intrusive. A very peaceful relaxing spot in beautiful countryside which can be explored from the accommodation but also a short drive away from places of interest. Definitely visit again.

Stylish, luxurious place to pamper yourself in a great location

Beautiful property in a great location, set in lovely grounds. Furnished to a very high standard with a very practical but stylish layout and feel. Lovely linens and towels and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen if you want to do any cooking. Dawn and David are super friendly hoping you'll enjoy their extensive gardens.
