Rose Cottage was perfect for a short getaway with my two sisters. It’s cosy and comfortable, surrounded by a lovely, lush garden oasis. It’s in a very quiet location while being close to all of the local attractions. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

A lovely warm welcome awaited us from Marilla and the cottage itself manages to be quaint and cosy as well as very spacious with everything you need for a fantastic holiday. Dawn walks to see sunrise over the Jamison Valley and then up the street for great coffee became a morning ritual!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. Marilla was a pleasure to communicate with and the property was immaculate upon arrival. We especially enjoyed the quiet location which was within walking distance to The Three Sisters and several walking trails/hikes. Marilla made an extra effort to acknowledge my husband’s birthday which was very appreciated. I recommend this property without hesitation.

Marilla's beautifully appointed cottage was ideal for 2 ladies in their mid 90's and 2 younger guests. The accommodation had all the comforts of home, was warm and cosy with comfortable beds and an unexpected welcome of wine and chocolates and fresh flowers from the garden in each room. Couldn't have been better for our group. We'll be coming back again for sure

We loved our stay in Rose cottage. It was even better than the photos with an open plan kitchen/dining and living area opening up to a lovely back garden. Walks started 5 minutes away and it was super quiet. Communication with Marilla was easy and prompt. Love to come back in summer!

Rose Cottage is a beautiful home that has been impeccably maintained and is a great place to stay in the Blue Mountains. It is in a very quiet area but still very convenient. Marilla has gone to a lot of trouble to make the house comfortable with plenty of heating and lovely furnishings. The welcome touches including fresh flowers from the garden in all the rooms and a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival were a lovely extra. Thank-you!

We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Rose Cottage, it was much more than we expected and the wine and chocolates were such a pleasant surprise and welcoming gift. The property is adorable and has everything needed for a very luxurious stay. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens and cooking our meals each evening, it was so comfortable and inviting you simly do not want to leave.
A sincere thanks to Marilla & team for one of the most enjoyable stays we've had in the Blue Mountains over the past 30 years. The location of the property is superb and away from the masses yet close enough to walk to many of the attractions. We will definitely be back and would love to experience this gorgeous property in the winter.

I took a small group of girlfriends to the region for my birthday. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable.
The host offered an early check in and late check out, wine and chocolates on arrival.
The location has beautiful views, on a quiet street and perfect for walking to the Three Sisters.

House was well set up and immaculate. Short walk to 3 sisters (impossible and expensive to park there), close to many walks and activities. House had everything (including coffee machine) and we were greeted by wine and chocolates. Classic old style Mountains home, just beautiful.

Rose Cottage cannot be faulted in any way. The cottage is beautiful, the gardens amazing and the whole experience is wonderful. It is in a perfect location, only a short stroll to The Three Sisters. Our lovely host, Marilla, ensured our stay was comfortable, relaxed and beyond expectation. The cottage is super clean, the rooms are large and tastefully furnished. Everything you need is at hand. The garden is alive with birds and the roses were blooming. I will not stay anywhere else in the mountains and hope to be back as soon a possible. A Jonny Depp DVD (Chocolat) - added to the enjoyment of our stay. Well done Marilla. Thank you for your generosity and letting us share your lovely home.

Thanks to our host, we had a wonderful stay here at Rose Cottage. The house is very comfortable and clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is close to the tourist attractions but is in a very quiet location. To top it off there was even chocolates and a very nice bottle of wine to top off our stay. Our host had also placed flowers from the garden displayed beautifully throughout the house.
We thank our host and look forward to next year when we will return to stay.

Our biggest mistake was not to book for a longer stay as it was truly wonderful. It was peaceful and the house was wonderfully equipped and our owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with when we arrived.
It is close to the major attractions of the Blue Mountains plus the wonderful restaurants nearby. We will definitely be returning

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. We would have liked to stay longer and will probably go there again, hopefully for more than two nights. The beds were very comfortable with electric blankets and there was ample heating throughout the cottage. The garden was beautiful - it was early Spring and many of the plants were in flower and the birdlife was abundant. I would thoroughly recommend Rose Cottage but make sure you take a few staples with you, i.e. bread, butter and spreads, also milk.

Rose Cottage was a delightful property, a real atmosphere of beautiful, old Katoomba in its glory. All the rooms were gorgeously decorated and very inviting and the garden was just wonderful. The house was warm and filled with fresh flowers. Complimentary wine and chocolte was a lovely touch.

The house is beautiful and situated in a lovely quiet road with easy access to the town centre. The gardens are very well kept with freshly cut flowers in the house. What a great weekend away we had staying at the very cosy and beautiful Rose Cottage celebrating our friend's 70th birthday! Accommodation was excellent - so very clean and having heating in all rooms. All the little things that make a stay pleasant was here at Rose Cottage. Thank you to the fabulous hostess Marilla where nothing was too much trouble when answering and assisting us with our stay.
