Overall, it was very positive though! I'll definitely be staying here again in the future.

It was a very nice stay. The lobby was a modern and clean vibe, which was very in step with the entire experience.

I think that the only thing that could've been improved was on the breakfast front. It didn't seem that the value for the money was worth it.

Double charged for the stay

The Hotel was nice, rooms were clean staff were nice although they did not honor the rates by booking.com

HOTEL CHARGED ME DESPITE THE FACT THAT I PAID ON BOOKING.COM. I still have not received a refund from either booking com or the hotel.Also, Booking.com has click bait in the hotel listing with a false indication of the amount to be paid for breakfast. Hotel charged $18.70 while booking com stated it would cost a ticket $1. Altogether it would have been less stress and less expensive to book directly with the hotel

Had a great time in Durham (except for the outcome of the game)

room was comfortable and clean Check in and out was easy. staff very helpful and friendly

The thermostat is directly in the path of the vent!! wouldn't cool the room. Finally covered it. (this is a problem in all marriott hotels I have stayed in. The Fitness room is in bad need of repair. Only one treadmill worked but we made do with what did and got a circuit workout in.

A very stylish and comfortable stay in Durham

The AC Marriott in Durham is a very stylish, new hotel. All the spaces are very beautifully decorated in contemporary style. The room was very smartly designed and equally stylish. The bathroom was terrific, with a very large counter space - rare for any hotel. We really enjoyed the hotel. Great location, convenient to the university and with some good dining options nearby.

The only downside was the approach - there was inadequate signage to indicate where to park for check-in, so we parked in the lower level of the parking garage, and then couldn't find our way up to the lobby without a room key yet. But this was a minor issue.

Nice staff and clean as advertised, truly does smell nice. Parking is hard for SUVs/large trucks.

Breakfast pretty good, better than a typical chain breakfast because there was fresh bacon, eggs, and waffles along with a meat and cheese platter, cereal, coffee machine, 4 kinds of fruit juice.

Oatmeal in packets, not many other pastry options that I remember, tea was kinda weak. Entrance and parking garage are challenging to reach for large vehicles because of narrow access road, parking spaces. Spin cycle on the industrial laundry was audible my room sometimes.

we love the AC properties but a little disappointed over breakfast issues.

very clean rooms and bedding - reception area was excellent - breakfast buffet very good - front reception, Bobby, was excellent.

we love expressing and the morning Nespresso is one reason we stay at AC but the machine was not working the morning we stayed breakfast was included w our stay but we were given a receipt to sign for $36 at breakfast which we found confusing. staff said we had to sign it but we wouldn’t be charged. we were uncomfortabl having to ask and the excellent lanation made no sense.
