Spectacular views just feet away from North Topsail Beach, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, dolphins seen daily, as well as an occasional Sea Turtle. Three levels of living space with decks on all levels and spectacular views of the ocean. Every deck comes equipped with lounge chairs and the main deck has a dining table and chairs to relax while drinking your morning coffee! There is direct beach access with an outdoor cold shower to wash off the ocean saltwater and sand. Adorable home located right on the beach.

Our stay at the coconut was fantastic. The house was very comfortable and well appointed, and the beach was perfect. My wife and I especially enjoyed the third-floor balcony which offered unobstructed views up and down the beach. The house is only a short drive to many restaurants and amenities but is far enough from the main town that the beach didn't feel crowded even with a public access 50 yards away.
The only "warning" (and I use that term lightly) I would offer any potential renters is that the primary access to the beach from the house is through one of the bedrooms on the first floor. While this wasn't an issue for us, it could be for a group that may not be comfortable with that arrangement.

We love the Coconut! Great aesthetic and vibe. Location was fantastic- we loved not having neighbors to our left.
Pros- location- literal steps to the beach; convenient to grocery stores, bars, restaurants.

Ice machine a bit slow (would recommend having a backup bag or two of ice)
Dishwasher is loud and takes quite a while to cycle so we just ran it at night.
Would be great to have a grill!
Also, not really a con because it can’t be fixed, but just be aware that the only beach access is through a bedroom. Hardly an issue for us but it is good to know before going.
We have been vacationing at Topsail since 1989 and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed.
We are definitely planning to rent this home again!!

The rental was very roomy, with each bedroom having their own bathroom. The home was beautifully decorated and the kitchen well stocked. We loved the three levels of balcony’s facing the beach. We’ve rented many homes at the beach, but not one that was literally feet from the beach. Off the back deck, you walk down the steps and you are on the beach. We enjoyed cooking in each day, walking the beach, and hanging out on the back deck. We definitely will rent this place again.

This is our second time staying and the oceanfront panoramic view is spectacular. Even though we did get rain it was still a peaceful stay with card playing and catching up. We enjoyed lobster from lobstah shack nearby and everything was at cottage that made our stay perfect. Paper towels, toilet paper even shampoo. We cooked and there are plenty of pots and pans. Beds were comfortable and sheets/bedding great quality.

We had an absolutely AMAZING stay! We are locals to the are and had some out of town friends come down for a surprise birthday trip! Bill and Amy were incredible hosts & even let us check in early! Their place was absolutely incredible. We loved hearing the waves crash every morning and seeing dolphins from the balcony. We had a wonderful time walking the beach and playing spike ball & enjoying our time there with friends!

This house rental felt like “home” from the minute we arrived. The location on the beach provided spectacular views as well as easy access for fishing and daily walks. All the amenities and extras were provided. Would not hesitate to book for a return visit.

We love the home. The owners have clearly tried to anticipate and cover guests' needs. The TV worked fine for the first two days and then we could not get it to connect. We tried rebooting the modem as instructed but that did not help. Also, the drain the the whirlpool tub would not stay down so the tub was not useable.

I chose the Coconut because I loved the decor, loved all the pillows everywhere! And the location with the wide expanse of no other homes to the left made it seem private, especially since we were there in October when it’s not crowded anyway. We got lucky with the weather being sunny and warm the whole week. It was our first time in North Topsail and we will definitely be back. This is a gorgeous property!

The beach is beautiful. The walk to the pier is a highlight. This area is only houses and no hotels so there are less people which we loved. The host is amazing and caters to your needs. You can just bring your bathing suits and enjoy the stay as the house is equipped with all you need. We will definitely return!!!

This was our first time in Topsail and first time using VRBO. The coconut is absolutely gorgeous with a ton of amenities. The pictures do not do it justice it’s even better in person. Beach access was perfect and the entire house was meticulously clean. We can’t wait to book again!

This was our first year staying at the Coconut Beach House after staying in the duplex next door the past two times we have visited North Topsail Island. Both properties are wonderful, but the Coconut Beach House went the extra mile with having an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, including all the basic supplies, from cooking oil to dish detergent to paper towels. Totally unexpected, but also quite nice, was to find hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner in all of the bathrooms, as well as a hair dryer. The closets had ample hangers and there was plenty of storage space in each bedroom. The nightstands in each bedroom included a multi-port charging station. And there was laundry detergent and dryer sheets provided in the utility room. Bottom line is that this house included many things that are not standard in other vacation rentals which made it extra special and extremely convenient.
The house itself sits right on the beach so the waves are literally right outside your window/door. And every balcony has chairs, and the middle balcony even has a dining table with chairs. There is also a wall of hooks on the ground floor with a beach towel on each hook for the guests to use.
I think this house is perfect for anyone who is having to fly into the area given that one can pack much lighter since so many amenities are provided by the hosts. I definitely would stay here again and our family would need to bring one less suitcase because everything is already here!

My family and I have stayed at this property 4 times now and loved it each time. It sits on a beautiful part of the beach with plenty of room, especially on the side that has no homes built. It fits our needs and has plenty of parking.
The interior has been well taken care of with new decor and paint. The owners, Bill & Amy Crawley are fantastic! Always communicated immediately.

We loved our stay at The Coconut!! The home is beautiful! Stocked with everything we needed (and then some). Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The new owners have done a fabulous job making it feel like home away from home. I really liked that each bedroom had access to a separate bathroom and each bedroom had large beds (not twin beds).
The views are breathtaking!! The house is literally right on the beach. Each floor has a balcony facing the ocean with unobstructed views. We saw several dolphins swimming and a beautiful variety of sea shells on the beach. The beaches and the area were so private, clean and quiet. We felt very safe staying there. There is also easy access to other parts of the island. A mile away is Splash by the Sea, great food, beverages, and super friendly staff. We highly recommend this property and look forward to visiting again. Thanks, Bill!

We came to Top Sail to visit my son at Camp Lejeune. The house was perfect! About a 25 minute drive to base. It's a beautiful home! Being from the Midwest, staying on the beach and falling asleep to the sound of they waves was heaven. Beds are super comfortable! The house has everything you need. I was able to cook my son his favorite meals. We would love to stay here again if we visit!!

The location of this property in proximity to the ocean is literally steps away with gorgeous views. Although a duplex, this unit doesn't have neighbors on one side with lots of open beach and dunes. The house was fully stocked with all of the toiletries and paper products that one might need as well as a variety of washing detergents. Quite a bit of attention has been given to the decor in the house making it feel very much like home.

The Coconut was the perfect place for my husband and I to reconnect with our adult children who came in from different locations. The townhouse is nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need for the perfect beach vacation right down to boogie boards! We have rented many oceanfront properties from the Outerbanks down to Tybee and this unit, BY FAR, has been the best! No detail has been overlooked; from the outdoor deck furniture to the spigot and shower on the walkway from the beach, to the comfortable interior accommodations, it's obvious much thought was given to making The Coconut a haven at the beach. The views were spectacular from every level! It's a place where great memories are made. I hope we're able to go back soon!

The sunrises and sunsets were stunning. We enjoyed walks along the beach, riding the waves and relaxing in the sun. The owners responded to my questions promptly and were wonderful to deal with. We want to thank the new owners of the coconut for allowing us to stay once again. We have been staying at the coconut since 2018 and this was our 3rd time there. We were concerned at 1st when we learned there were new owners. However Bill was very easy to work with and was very responsive.
The views are spectacular, literally walk 20 feet off the property and your in the ocean. Everything in the description is spot on. If your looking for a spot to stay on Topsail Island, this is the place. Thanks again, and can’t wait to book again next year.

Perfect Beach Location
This was our second year staying at this house celebrating our wedding anniversary. One cannot be closer to the ocean than this house. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels, beach towels, chairs, games. The internet constantly was in and out, but it’s also with Spectrum, so not the owners fault. Hopefully it gets more stable. It’s so lovely being able to hear the ocean while in the house. Bill and Amy were easy to get hold of via the Vrbo app.

Perfect location near the rest of my family. Super clean, well stocked. Decor was lovely. This was our 3rd year and have already booked for next year. The best part is the stupendous beach. There were very few people around so was like our own private beach. And as everyone knows the ocean is just perfect there. Kids ran in and out with no shimmies or life vests. Great for the little ones
