Come fall in love with the beauty and peace of Sandbridge Beach while enjoying the very best view in all of Virginia Beach! When you first walk in, the view will take your breath away. This two-story, corner, oceanfront penthouse delivers the best of all worlds; brilliant sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean and golden sunsets over Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge. You’ll enjoy surfing the waves, watching the dolphins play, building sandcastles, fishing, kayaking, bike riding, and so much more. The kitchen features a host of recent upgrades, including high-end GE stainless steel appliances, an oversize refrigerator, a microwave oven, a wine cooler, a buffet, a pantry, and a wraparound breakfast bar. The granite and sea glass backsplash is custom-designed. The open dining area overlooks the ocean and offers a 10-foot table and chairs.

The living room is decorated with the colors of the sea and sand, featuring a comfortable sectional and other seating options that are perfect for family gatherings. The large TV has great color and sound for movie nights. Additional amenities include TVs in all of the bedrooms, a DVD player, a book library, games, puzzles, free WiFi, and a computer desk. A pack-n-play and high chair are also provided so that even the smallest guests aren't left out of the activities.

The Sanctuary offers wonderful on-site amenities, including three outdoor pools, Viking grills, and two fitness centers. Adjacent to the complex is the 400-foot fishing pier at Little Island Park, which also includes a children’s playground; tennis, pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts; and enough public parking for the unexpected visitor. Just down the road, you can explore Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, which offers beach access and hiking trails galore.

Things to Know
The community pool is open annually from the beginning of June to the end of August for guest use. Pool dates are weather permitting and at the Condo Association's discretion.
The Sanctuary HOA schedules structural upkeep during the off-season, blocking off certain sides of the buildings, making it unsafe for our guests to be on the balcony. The balcony may not be available for guests from October to mid-May.
This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This home is just like the title, simply divine. We have been coming to Sandbridge for 5 years and this was our first time staying at this home, and we will definitely be back!

This spot was just right for our family beach vacation. The outdoor area has a great place to hang out in the early morning watching the sunrise and feeling the breeze from the bay. Two balconies grace this end unit and the one for the main level is roomy and well appointed with outdoor furniture. Sadly, the upper one off the master bedroom was too full of bugs to enjoy. There are two nice pools we found. One had a swim up bar that wasn’t open when we were there. There was an owners closet we had access to with beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and a wagon to carry it all out to the beach! We had no idea this existed until later in the week. Overall we think this was a perfect spot for our family. The beach is wide and not crowded and has life guards! The 3 king bedrooms plus the bunk room were a perfect fit. We plan to make this an annual family event!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The room was great and had a breathtaking view. Wonderful kitchen appliances, nice furniture, and plenty of space. The only thing I have to complain about is that once something poked my foot when I was in the ocean and it hurt. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Th unit itself was excellent, but the building was not. The exterior is in dire need of powerwashing. Cobwebs and spiders everywhere. The elevator on our side was out o service off and on and, of course, on the day we were checking out. The property owner needs to urge its association to do something.

Our stay was just that. The condo was excellent: spacious; excellent appliances, and family oriented. This was my 5th time at the sanctuary and this was the best place.

Loved that it was so close to the beach and was large enough for our group. The owners need to visit. The cleaning was below par and the couch was filthy! We covered it. But our vacation was fun!

Loved the unit. Loved the location. Loved the view!! Did not love Vacasa at all. I’d never book with them again. We got a text two days before departure saying unit would not be ready for the Saturday check in. We lost a day of our vacation and had to check in Sunday. We also did not have a set of king sheets for a bedroom and had to Sleep on the couch for a night. It took 24 hours to finally get the sheets.

Spent thanksgiving with the family —6 people. Very large condo and right on the beach. Large bedrooms, great and large bathrooms, and the upstairs is a vacation on its own. Multiple balconies and felt like a private beach for long walks and just sitting on the beach and playing games. Watched dolphins right from the deck, saw beautiful sunrises, and listened to the waves all night. Good restaurants around the condo. Easy and convenient garage parking. Only downside was that windows should have been power washed beforehand — dirty windows, cobwebs and some spiders on the windows. May have been due to recent storms and winds. Would rent this condo again and highly recommend it.
