We welcome guests from all over the world and every walk of life with the goal of making everyone feel welcome, comfortable and respected throughout their stay. We are just minutes to Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, historic Lewes and the natural beauty of Cape Henlopen State Park, and right next door to a wide array of great dining and 130 tax-free outlet stores, and many other activities and attractions. And on top of it all, Mar Bella does its part to protect the environment with 32 kilowatts of solar power, solar water heaters, recycling and other carbon offsets. The Sea Shell room is a spacious luxury bedroom decorated in coastal style with a private ensuite bathroom. It's on the second floor in the main part of the hotel with a self-serve coffee/tea bar close by. The bedroom features a premium king-size bed and a seating area with comfy chairs, as well as a desk and chair for your laptop. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower and double sink. There's a 55" 4k UHD TV with free Netflix, Max, Apple TV, AMC+ and HULU, as well as a mini-fridge to keep your drinks cool. We provide fresh linens, bath and pool towels and bath supplies, and even Mar Bella robes for you to enjoy. You'll have access to a handy online store where you can find beach gear rentals, snacks, drinks and other travel necessities. The Blue Heron is stocked and ready with everything you need for a memorable beach stay! All our guests have full access to Mar Bella's great amenities, including the large in-ground pool, our huge 11-by-8 foot hot tub, the unique Himalayan salt-walled sauna, a fire pit for evening relaxing, as well as hammocks strung beneath the pines and gorgeous outdoor seating and lounging areas all around the property. We have ample free parking for our guests, and an EV charger is available. You won't find a cleaner hotel in all of Rehoboth Beach! Your room has been scrupulously cleaned and sanitized by our housekeeping staff who follow a strict cleaning protocol. Unlike almost all other hotels we launder all bed coverings and blankets after every stay. You will find your room sparkling clean and sand-free, guaranteed. Prior to your stay your hosts David and Vana will send you your personalized Welcome Email which contains everything you need to know about the hotel and your room, along with recommendations for beaches, restaurants and things to do in the area. No children under 13, no pets.

I stayed at Mar Bella for one week just after Labor Day in the Sea Shell Room. The room was really comfortable and full of thoughtful touches. The pool area was really pretty and peaceful. I rented beach gear from the hotel for the week, which was cheap and convenient. I kept extending the beach gear rental and the hosts were really flexible about that, which I appreciated. I drive an electric car and the charger out front was great to have, easy to use, and reasonably priced. If I go back to the Delaware beaches, I will probably stay at Mar Bella again.

The room was gorgeous with beach like theme and soft colors. The hosts did not forget anything! Robes, beach towels, hooks in the bathroom, codes for the doors - no keys to lose. The courtyard had seating and a pool with lounge chairs! Electric car chargers in the parking lot! Everything was super clean !!!!! Rooms, pool area, coffee station , sauna area all pristine - immaculate!!! The coffee station was a lovely surprise. David - the host was personable and worked to make us feel welcome! We really had a wonderful couple of days !!! Thank you Mar Bella hosts and staff!!!

The hotel is a gem - clean, tasteful, and charming. Everything was new and in a nice condition. Everything was well-thought: the decor,the set up, the way the business operates. There are coffee and tea, a microwave, a small refrigerator, a pool, a hot tub, a sauna, gazebo , and lots of outside space to relax and enjoy the evening. Beds are very comfortable. The bathroom was squeaky clean . The hosts are a nice couple and take care of their guests well. I will definitely come back to this wonderful place.

Mar bella was the perfect place to stay for our trip. Not only is the space perfect, so is it's location. We were able to experience a lot during our short trip, and it's only because everything was 10-15 minutes away. I would definitely book here again.

We had a wonderful experience. Everything was just as advertised. It’s a beautiful space! We loved getting in the hot tub! I just wish check out was a little later. Overall all we enjoyed our stay! We would definitely come back and recommend this place to others!

The property was just what we were looking for on a holiday getaway. It is located close to a lot of things, but is also very quiet. It is clean and comfortable. The hosts are very thoughtful in the room and accommodation details such as a having a sound machine, coffee/tea bar and water dispenser to name a few. The outdoor hammocks and fire pit are also a great touch. Check in and out were a breeze. The communication throughout the process was detailed and swift. Great hosts, property and location. I would definitely stay here again.

If a quiet location close to Rehoboth Beach is what you are looking for, this is the place! Off the busy traffic areas, yet close enough to all attractions. Owner, David provided copious information not only about the self check in process and the property itself, but also lots of information about the area in general. He was very quick to respond to all requests before and during our entire stay, and made sure that we were completely comfortable in our room. We liked the fact that we need only let ourselves in with a code and essentially “made ourselves at home”; it was a breeze! The room was spotless and very nicely decorated, but so very comfortable! This includes the bed which David went to additional measures to assure we slept well. I have issues with firm mattresses and after staying at Mar Bella, I am sold on memory foam! We did not get to enjoy the outdoor areas of the property because we spent most evenings visiting with family nearby, but it looked so inviting and peaceful. The coffee station is a nice plus and even if you are not a Starbucks fan (the brand they use for the Keurig) there are choices that are very good. There are also all of the milk and sweetener choices that you would ever need. We hope to return to Rehoboth Beach area again, and would definitely stay at Mar Bella!

We had a fantastic one-night stay at this beautiful, clean, and easily accessible property! With a coffee bar and water cooler just outside your room doors, it has all the essentials to start your day at the beach! Comfy beds, spacious rooms, and thoughtful hosts make MarBella a dream getaway. We will definitely be back! :)

Nice size sea shell room- king bed. Loved dual sinks. Beautiful pillows, safe, modern approach to security in house, comfortable bed, quiet pre- season stay. Warm, friendly owner. Convenient/short couple of miles to Rehoboth beach.
