Pretty close to Waikiki beach. A little overpriced but decent of single people and for a very short stay.

These people helped me on many occasions and went above and beyond their job descriptions! Thank you so much!

The hostel was nice, clean, good facilities, good amenities, clean sheets, friendly and helpful staff.
Top bunk could do with a railing to prevent falling off. The room also needs more blinds/curtains to keep the light out at night. The cost was very high. While this may be reflective of the market, the hostel could really stand out if it is was even a little bit more affordable.
Overall, very satisifed with the experience.

It was a fabulous hotel and great staff.

Location was easy to find and within walking distance of the beach and Honolulu zoo. Staff were really helpful and friendly and the location felt really safe. Definitely worth booking. I will definitely book again when I come back to Honolulu.

It’s a hostel. It’s not a hotel. If you can manage your expectations, it’s a good value.

Good location, but a bit risky at night. It was pleasant and I ended up staying with two employees.

The whole experience was excellent

It was definitely cheap but I met people from all over which is always great about staying in a hostel

Caitlin on front desk was amazing. Helped me lug my huge ass bag up the 4 flights of stairs. I had asked for a lower level room but booked in late. ( thanks Caitlin!)

Great proximity to beach, shops, zoo, and restaurants. Could use a bit of updating/repairs. But I’d still considering staying again.

Really friendly and helpful staff, room was clean, clean linen, bathroom cleaned daily. Good security onto property, into room and locker. 1 block from the beach and many varied restaurant options. Easy access to public transport to get you anywhere on the island.
Only negative is the noise, as there is no aircon, the windows need to stay open and through the night there was a lot of noise from fireworks, garbage trucks and occasionally car alarms. But it is not constant, so for the price, I would definitely stay again.

Couldn’t speak higher of the staff, perfectly happy to help every time and accommodating (ask about equipment and recommendations etc).
Private room was amazing for our stay and good bathroom area.
Loved meeting other travellers in the common area. Moments from the beach and shops.
Definitely one to remember and to return to.
Thanks for everything!

I liked the common area and the size of the rooms.

Good for solo travellers, staff and dormates are friendly during my stay. Can cook your own food and close to beach and malls. Just have the parking first come first serve or else it will be too far when it gets crowded.

Already 'Lemon Rd.' was promising as I love lemons a lot! It was great to be so close to the water!
Easy getting in and out after I remembered the key-numbers ;-)
Squieking doors are a no-go at night! I am gone but, hope that got fixed ;-)
For a short stay I will come back!

Liked: I got a private room with a locking door. A/C was good and had many fans in unit. Location is directly across from the Zoo, two blocks from beach and 7-11 type stores. Hammocks and free hard liquor was available downstairs, ATM and electric scooter rental right outside. Was able to ride the #20 bus from the airport directly there for $2.75 but took 1hr opossed to $40 for a 25 min private Uber. I lucked out and had the whole unit to myself but would have been uncomfortable if all 4 bunk beds were occupied by drunk kids coming and going outside my door.
Didnt like: My private rooms entrance was not outside. So even though i had my own room four beds were directly outside my door. I didnt like being asked to pay again at sign in. I booked on Expedia several month before and was charged full price. Apparently those transactions were refunded to my account as i could not find them in my online banking when asked to pay again at check in. I disliked the digital door locks and lack of a physical keys or keycard as i usually surf or swim with a key or keycard in my zipper pocket. Instead i needed a four digit code to enter the property then a seven digit code for the unit door and another seven digit code for my private room within. The seven digit codes can be bypassed by using the Goki app which will unlock them with one push, but i needed to be able to go in and out wet and not bring my phone swimming.
Would stay again, was good except door locks and proximity to guests

AMAZING ...I’ve spent a week with my 65 years old aunt ... first time in a hostel .... she loveeeeed it .. super clean, organized , quiet !!! Yes if u step outside the hostel the street is busy and loud, but right in the center of everything that Waikiki has to offer !!!! Book it book it and book it .... the staff are incredible helpful .. Shout out to Jack with a great attitude always ready to help you, of just to wish you a good morning, lol ... I don’t really understand how people can write bad reviews or bash this place, seriously !!! I would come back in a heartbeat !!! We stayed in a 4 bed + semi private and shared bathroom, it gets clean everyday ...

Upset I was kicked out from downstairs common area due to it being ‘closed’ while 3 girls are hanging out and eating. I was told to leave by them even tho I was by myself, quiet, and in a hammock far from anyone. Overall it’s a great hostel and amazing staff. Just one experience I thought I should mention because it stuck out

It’s the first time I’ve stayed in a hostel for a while, so I felt a bit rusty getting acclimated again. However, the staff are incredibly kind, and helped me get set up quickly. The power went out when we were all sitting outside, and didn’t turn on again for about an hour; the whole place erupted in cheers and applause when it did. I wish I had more time here to get to know the place, but am glad for got my short stay nonetheless.

This hostel is walking distance from beach, bars, and Convenient stores. The hostel offers activities every single day, for a fee. The hostel also does free breakfast, every Single morning. In my room there were 6 people and one bathroom but aside from that, this hostel overall is amazing.....the staff, wow, they’re all utterly Incredible. Kyree, was the best! He took a group of us in a hike, but made it the most fun I’ve had!

Really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Very clean and great staff and super close to the beach and bus stop. Key system is great and was able to meet friends. The fans they used in their room was sufficient and fit all my needs

It is good place for people who wanted to save some bucks out of expensive trips. The ppl working here are nice and responsive to situations. Though Im from a not so welcomed ethnicity for some, the staff do their best to close that gap. Id recommend to my friends if theyre coming to the area. Thanks

It was cheap but noisy, stifling out, and exactly what you would expect for the price.
