I had a lovely stay at this hostel! It’s conveniently located close to South Station. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was simple but filling. I would love to stay there again!

This hostel is great for solo travelers. There is a $6 fee for locks for the lockers, so feel free to bring or buy your own or buy one of theirs. The first room i had was not a good situation for me, only because it was hot and the room was smelly, but the front desk staff was so accommodating, i didnt even have to sleep in that room. They gave me another bedroom with great A/C, seemed way cleaner, and smelled a lot fresher. The location is a great location. Right in the middle of china town. Super walkable city and only 5 minutes walk from the train. There is not a dedicated parking lot. Parking downtown is expensive, but you really dont need a car staying in the city. Bathrooms were cleaned twice a day and the bed was comfy for the most part. Breakfast was provided everyday, but also some great breakfast spots within walkable distance if you want that option. They have great group activities for anyone who stays there to enjoy the city of Boston and also get people to socialize. They have a full kitchen so you can cook meals if needed. Overall, i would definitely stay again! I highly recommend this place.

Hi Boston is a really good hostel in a cool building on the edge of Chinatown. It is however very expensive for what you get - i paid $490 for two night - basic accommodation with all amenities but could have been cleaner.

Great hostel to stay! Room and facilities were clean, and there were enough bathrooms to use and take shower. This hostel also provided breakfast every morning 7am-10am though the menu was simple. You can also store your luggage on the check-out day for free. The only issue that I encountered was the wireless internet in the room. I was unable to connect almost all the time in the room though I could use the internet outside of the room.

Centrally located hostel with great mix of ages. Free basic breakfast. Good kitchen. Rooms had ac and desperate shower room. Comfy bed. Plenty of communal space.

Unable to sleep my roommates have the light on and two of them seems like they are sick they kept coughing the cough is a congestive one sniffing nose. I had to grab my mask good thing I brought some with me.I was afraid I would get sick. The few little sleep I got I wore my mask thank God I had to leave 5:30am to catch my flight.Didn’t like the setting.

Fine enough place. Very good rate, you get what you pay for. Fine folks in my room. Quiet and kept to their own. I would recommend if you’re in town and looking to keep costs low.

it's a very friendly hostel!!! All the stuffs in the front desk are very friendly to everybody. They help me to store my backpack after I checked out. The playroom on second floor is amazing. I really enjoy this place.

I am brand new to staying in hostels. It was totally safe and I slept well. I got in late so didn't have a chance to socialize at dinner. I did notice though that this is a very big hostel - I think? So it's less intimate.

I was pleased, given this is a hostel, at how gloriously comfortable the bunk bed was, with quality linen, that allowed me to relax and sleep well, despite sharing the room with five others! I appreciated my roommates' consideration around being quiet and thoughtful.

Over all I had a great stay, it was perfect for what I needed. I bunked in a 6 person, all women dorm. I will say there was one night where one of the girls was having a tough night (nightmare maybe?). But I popped on my headphones and it was fine. The room is maintained by the the occupants and it was generally clean. There’s a space to cook and eat and a do it yourself laundry room. There are also nook and cranny’s to sit and chill or work. I have a very pleasant experience. I would just say that the bathrooms could have been maintained a bit better. The floor was kinda always a bit crusty. Bring bath slippers. Will definitely stay again!

Packages can be stored before and after check-in, and breakfast can be made reliable. When the fire alarm was activated, we guided all guests to evacuate to the building across from us, and we were able to confirm the safety of the hostel

For my first time experience staying at a Hostel was great my room number 417 was great and a nice view I want to thank all staff and Ms Angelina for her help checking me in and solving the misunderstanding regarding the payment. breakfast was ok hopefully in the future they could serve some eggs with sausages and bacon. and if anyone read this make sure to take showers slippers and also a lock 🔐

It's a great location. Perfect for exploring the Freedom Trail and Chinatown. Right in the middle of everything so transportation is easy to come by too.

HI Boston Hostel was very clean. It is located downtown, which means I was able to get around very easily. Also, there are lots of dining options in the area. I strongly recommend this hostel.

I had an excellent stay at HI Boston. The free breakfast was also very good ! My only recommendation would be to put a vending machine in the laundry room, like many other places have. I needed soap and had to go downstairs and wait almost 10 minutes in line.

Public kitchen area extremely dirty. I used a dirty cup for one drink and after that figured out it’s dirty both in and out side of the plastic cup. No one’s in responsible for it. And kitchen maid told its other passengers dirt stuff. Personally I don’t believe it but the cleaner can not speak properly and only do is say sorry. It really makes me angry in the morning, and makes the hold day shiittt!
