About this house rental

Come relax in our Seaside Hideaway located in Treasure Island. Just a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach as well as immediate access to the best fishing on the gulf coast. This home is the perfect destination for family and friends to relax and be on "island time". Get some sun in the lounge chairs, chill under the pergola or fish right off of the back deck - there are plenty of outdoor activities to choose from. You can also bring your boat for the quickest access to bays and blue water.

The space
Seaside Hideaway is a 3 bd 2 ba home with an open floor plan and lots of charm. You will love the natural sunlight filling the house thanks to the large windows on both sides of the common area rooms. Wood floors and exposed ceiling beams compliment the updated kitchen. Washer and dryer available onsite for your use. The large top floor deck has a gas grill, (4) lounge chairs, and a lighted pergola with a sectional couch and corner bar layout. On the ground level there is a large covered area under the house and deck to relax and get a reprieve from the midday sun. There is also a ~40ft fishing dock with two large benches and a firepit. If you decide to bring your own boat, there are cleats installed to tie off on the dock or in the open covered slip. We also have a lighted fish cleaning table with sink…be sure to bring your filet knife!

Guest access
The entire living space and deck are on the top floor of the home. The middle and bottom floors are for owner storage only and not included in the rental. The driveway is huge and can easily accommodate multiple cars and boat trailer.

Other things to note
There are two staircases to walk up, so the home is not wheelchair accessible.
We have one security camera facing the driveway to alert when people have arrived. We have one security camera facing our boat that is in the far boat slip. Neither camera faces or records any common or private area.

Perfectly located! This property met all of our expectations. The grandkids had an awesome time fishing in the canal. The adults had an awesome time lounging on the extremely large upper deck. Wonderful memories were made here. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay so much. It was a quiet relaxing, fishing and catching getaway. The host was very responsive and kind. Great house, linens were great, beds were great. Everything we needed was there!

Stay was awesome. Deck was fantastic sitting and drinking coffee in the mornings. Fishing was good off the dock. The family had a blast and beach was only 5 min drive.

We have fished that area for the last 20 years so we are well versed with the bay system. The house was perfect for my family and a few friends. We spent a lot of time on both decks. The filet table was put to good use with cleaning fish and eating both blue and stone crabs. We would definitely use the home again.

It was beautiful and clean! The only problem we had was the drill is falling apart on the inside… if you plan a trip don’t plan to grill! We had several grill meals, but were able to make them inside!! Other than that it’s a great place and have no complaints at all!! Would stay again ❤️❤️

This house was the perfect choice for our family. We loved the layout which worked perfectly with two little ones and 4 adults. The house was well decorated, comfortable and very clean. We had plenty of room and the kids loved the bunk beds and toys! The large top deck gave us a great view and the dock provided some good fishing with plenty of flounder! Our host Traci was just the best and we really enjoyed the welcome basket. This spot certainly made our Thanksgiving on the Bay one for the books.

Traci is phenomenal to work with! The house location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet. We spent every day at the beach and then came back to fish on the dock and hang out on the upper deck. The house is clean and well kept. We’d highly recommend staying here!

We had the best trip! We spent hours fishing off the descent on the back of the house. The home is beautiful and the hosts were the best VRBO hosts we have ever encountered. Everything was A+. Thank you for a great trip to the Texas sauna!

Great location. Clean. Everything worked. Perfect location. The deck was definitely the biggest draw. We stayed out there all day! Property manager was friendly and responded quickly. Will likely stay here again.

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our family, clean, welcoming, comfortable! The extra amenities was so nice! Only recommendation is to bring some chairs for fishing off the dock downstairs!

This house is perfect for a stay in the beautiful San Luis pass area! It is fully stocked with everything needed. The owners are also VERY responsive, super helpful, and amazingly friendly to communicate with. We WILL be back very soon!

Exactly as listed! The large deck made all the difference! Comfy beds too! Great sunrise and sunset views! Very close to the beach! We caught fish and crab daily in the canal and at the pier. Traci and Mike were very responsive.

I stayed here with my husband and two small children, my brother and his family, and a friend and their baby. Each family was able to comfortably stay in a room since our kids are young. Location was great. We spent one day at the beach and could easily get back and forth to the house using a golf cart (we brought), and we spent time at a nearby sand flat using our boats. It was nice to be able to pull the boats up directly to the house. The house looks just like the photos and is very functional.

The home was very clean and well stocked. The checkin process was seamless and the owners were very helpful with responding to questions. They have a nice Fishing / Cleaning station and park benches to use while your fishing in the canal. We brought our boat and was able to quickly dock it outside the house the home in the canal. They have a huge front driveway that you can park your boat trailer and cars in. Overall it was a very nice home, we will be staying there again for sure.
