When I went to check in I was asked for 200.00 cash deposit and when I said no way they lowered to 100.00 again, was not giving a cash deposit when I secured room with a credit card. The desk clerk proceeded to tell me since my address on ID showed I lived in the same town I was staying in they required a cash deposit. Told them I didn't live in town any longer but had not had the chance to update my DL. It was only then that they accepted my cc for incidentals. I went to room and the door was propped open and there was a smell of paint, an almost empty paint can in the bathroom, and paper on the floor. They left the door to the attached to the next room unlocked. Obviously, maintenance was doing some work but had not cleared out the room. As far as the room it was clean and the bed and pillows were confortable.

Staff was great. Check in was easy and seamless. Everyone was very helpful and professional. Lobby was small but nice. Soda machine had only canned sodas and they were $2 a piece. The snack machine was nearly completely empty. The room seemed okay. Lighting was good. Shower was good. The door didnt seal very well and it was hard for me to get the deadbolt to align and lock and im a big guy. There were a couple extra locks on the door which made me a little anxious. There we’re constantly people in the hallway. Walking up and down the hallway for some reason. I could hear multiple tvs from my room. There seemed to be a phone ringing in the middle of the night several times. Im not sure if it was in another room or someone in the hallway. Either way it was loud enough to wake me up from the small sleep I had. I started to sleep in one Queen bed but found it to be too itchy. Im not sure of the reason but the other bed with the same covers was not itchy at all. Also i was on the second floor and right under my window was a picnic table that had conversations for hours into the night. My phone did not work when i tried to call the front desk so i just let it go. I will not advise that anyone stay there. The only shining spot is the staff. They are so nice

Appreciated the parking and the disability access/egress. My bathroom was out of kleenex (only 2 pieces in box when I arrived) and the conditioner was completely out in the shower. Would I stay there again -- Yes!

robin was the hardest working desk clerk. she stocked coffee bar, filled the pool, cleaned the foyer, coffee bar, and pool areas. the other staff did not. the room was tiny and cramped for the $99.00./nite charged. at lest it was in a safer area than the baymont and motel 6.

One set of lighting over bed was not working. Only one cup in the room (2 queen beds). Out of decaf coffee in the lobby at 7:30pm. Shower was great, beds very comfortable, quiet stay even with painting & repairs going on at the bldg

Room wasn't ready when we checked in, which was 5:30 and check in was 3. Exposed screws in my room, shower felt like it was going to fall off the wall. Had to reach across the room in the bathroom for the toilet paper. Chips on the wall. Indoor pool was extremely small and shallow.

The room is a good clean room, has comfortable beds and reliable and easily used faucet handles. Once the father and son got settled next-door, it was very quiet, and we were able to enjoy a sound sleep. The breakfast was adequate, even good, not hot breakfast but hot was not promised. Check in and check out were smooth and efficient. There were several restaurants within walking distance for dinner. All in all a good experience, I’d recommend it to anyone.

Our room smelled terrible. It was overwhelmingly strong, made me nauseous. It was so dirty. There was old food on the floor, old toothpaste or something in the sink, there was grime on the walls and dust. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The man that checked us in was nice, but the lady working the next day was rude.

I had a problem w/ the hot water in the shower on Checkout Day. I had to take a freezing cold shower maybe they ran out of H2O, IDK... I did try and take the shower at about 10:30 am, right before I had to out of there. I would stay here again though. This place is a gem!

Pleasantly surprised at the level of care, cleanliness, and overall condition for this Microtel. Felt like I was at a Hilton. I saved this in my list so I can stay here again next time I come through! The staff was amazing! Attentive and caring, very nice. Thank you for the stay and the care!

The Room assigned to us on our checking did not smell good; the carpet needed a deep cleaning, and enough ventilation should have been given to the room. The couches in the rooms need replacement or cleaning as well. When we reported that the next morning, however, the receptionist at the front desk - Christina - was quite professional and moved us to a much better room. Besides that, the property is well maintained and kept in cleanliness.

It is an economical hotel so we weren't expecting too much but were not happy with our stay. The front desk gentlemen was pleasant and agreed to let us have a noon check out time. The room had great AC, nice pillows, good tv. HOWEVER, the room smelled bad, the floors were clearly not vacuumed, (dog food on the floor with random other things) and even though we were given a late checkout, we were still bothered THREE times by staff long before our noon checkout. We also had to buy oder/air disinfectant bc i couldn't handle the stale smell. We also bought clorox wipes bc if they don't sweep or vacuum, who knows what they didnt clean.
