Despite the message saying that towels left hanging are not changed daily they kept changing my towels even if I didn’t ask for it. This is not consistent with the environment policy displayed by hotel. The room was old however relatively good state except the very noisy ventilation system. It definitely requires some maintenance.

Air conditioning don’t work at all. Room was always way hotter than exterior temperature. Hard to sleep as a result. Included mini fridge was so hot everything spoiled. Tried to adjust, no help. Phone in room didn’t work. Our luggage had been lost by airport and we kept having to call from the lobby. When the luggage was delivered, no one informed us.

The hotel is old but pretty nice lobby and the buffet breakfast had a variety of choices. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were all very nice and helpful to all our needs.

Some confusion on whether breakfast included and gym wasn't signposted very well. Connecting rooms that were requested were not granted / available. Good sized rooms and helpful in setting up sofa bed. Nice lobby and helpful concierge service.

The subway entrance is just right at the door step Grocery store is also a stone throw away. There is a tourist spot about 50m away, the bunker story, which talks about Hilter. You can spend hours there to understand WWI & II history.

Interesting hotel next to S Bahn and 20-30 min walk from Brandenburg Gate. Used to be an industrial building. Large step up into bathroom. Glass semi opaque into bathroom. Pillows - not enough or firm enough for me.

I had a smaller room and my friends shared a double room. Very nice and spacious even in my room which I believe is the smallest the hotel has to offer. Absolutely loved the bathroom. Nice shower, plenty of space and overall tasteful. The bed was big and comfy and I liked the fact that you can choose your own combination of pillows very much. The breakfast area was good with plenty of seats. Could be a bit noisy if younger kids were present but not too much. Very good breakfast buffet with plenty of options to chose from. The location is great with close proximity to lots of sights and Kreuzberg which offers plenty of great restaurants and pubs. I recommend wholeheartly!

Overall we had a satisfactory experience, and I would recommend it, but there were a few issues. Their parking facility is offsite and really difficult to navigate...very tight. They were kind enough to offer an upgrade to a junior suite for half price, and the room was awesome...nice and roomy. However, the bathroom entry had a very bright and annoying light under the step which you couldn't turn off. The location is pretty good...most things are walkable.

Overall our stay was outstanding. The staff were so accommodating and welcoming, giving recommendations to enjoy the city and with holding our luggage after check out for our later flight. You walk in to a pleasing smell and wide opening reception area. Our room was on the 4th floor, the lifts are easy and quick. The whole hotel was immaculately clean and the facilities available are easily enjoyed. In the room you have all the things you’ll need, good quality washing products and very powerful hair dryer. The drink making selection was vast and the fridge is a great size. Plenty of plug sockets around the room and lighting is good. The WiFi access is super quick, no sign up or password needed. The most impressive thing is the hotels location, if you are new to Berlin and want to explore, I highly recommend staying here as it is walking distance to some of the most popular museums and tourist visits as well as close to great restaurants and bars. Being so close to the S-Bahn is also a massive attraction. The only negative for me is the basic duvet and pillows which come with the room are thin and small. But you can request further pillows from the staff and any problems you may have, the staff will be sure to deal with them with speed and class. Overall the hotel is very high standard and you cannot go wrong with booking this.

Bedding needs updating, pillows were lumpy and had no shape as did duvets. Restaurant was lovely as was our room. About 45 minute walk to Alexanderplatz and 15 minutes from Checkpoint Charlie.

The hotel was super nice inside. We stayed in Berlin for the weekend and it was great as the location was next to many underground train stations that made it easy to travel around the city. It was in a safe area with many dining options and cafes nearby. It was super nice and spacious inside the room. I would definitely recommend people to stay here.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room and Building is old and really needs an update. Phone didn't work couldn't call reception to report clogged sink. Sink Drain clogged but staff got it to slowly flow again. Toilet clogged but I unclogged it myself because I don't want to walk down again. Wanted to use the tub for a bath but decided not to since the water is yellow and had black bits coming out. Coffee capsule machine was dirty even after flushing it 3 times. Breakfast was good.

Fantastic hotel, particularly if attending events at the Tempodrom. 15 minute walk to Brandenburg gate and attractions close by. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent, huge choice of food and drink including freshly made eggs. Our only complaint would be that the sauna is only open from 5pm til midnight, not during the day. Overall a great stay,

Stayed three nights for a city break. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel room was serviced daily. The room had a small fridge and tea and coffee facilities, although they only supplied powdered milk, this wasn't a problem as we bought some milk and kept it in the fridge. The position was perfect for sightseeing and using public transport was easy. I only reduced the score for comfort as we needed more pillows, but the hotel offers a range with different fillings, so it wasn't really a problem. The only other thing I could mention is to have usb charging points in the room. I would certainly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

It was a lovely stay for almost a week. The staff is nice, especially in the restaurant and reception. Very attentive and polite. The hotel is located on a quiet street, yet super close and in walking distance from all the major tourist attractions in the city. That is a major plus. Only a few things I would like to mention is that they don’t check up on the tea/coffee station. We ended up with no tea or sugar or stirring sticks on our last 2 days. And the cleaning staff forgot to include washcloths during roomservice.

Hotel wasn't necessarily in the best place. Close a very poignant museum about The Wall but took a long time to go wandering to other touristy places. The room was small for the price paid. In the room the hotel seemed to have followed the trend of using glass to partition the bathroom and the room; not the best choice. (Also the shower wasn't great-it didn't stay up high so you had to crouch to wash your hair and the hot water seemed to run out in the morning.) I'd recommend looking around for other hotels that are less expensive and you'll not feel overcharged as I did here.

We stayed for 4 nights in December 2023, and were returning guests from 2017. The overall experience was okay, but the hotel is feeling a bit worn. For example, there was a ripped hole in our bed sheet, the bathroom sink didn’t drain properly, the shower head was very limescaley, and the glass in the lift mirror was smashed. Upon arrival, we didn’t have a kettle in our room, we asked for one, and was told it would be dropped off, and it wasn't. We then asked again, and after about an hour it was dropped off. We also didn’t have milk/creamer in the room, and we asked for some and was given nespresso coffee pods instead (we didn’t even have a coffee machine in the room!). They charged us wrong at the bar one night, and came back asking for the additional money. We also didn’t find the bed very comfortable and were provided with very thin pillows. It just all felt a bit meh. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was nice. For the price, it is a good option in Berlin but I’m not sure we would stay again unfortunately.
