Nice roomy, well lit room. Food was good and the family was very helpful. Good location. Loved the spa that was next door.
Only 1 toilet for the floor. However could also use the one downstairs.

Wow. Super host who arranged complimentary tuk tuk from bus station, smooth check in, good a/c with comfortable bed, clean and fresh linens with lots of hot water.
This family run hostel has a host who understands traveller needs. BUNLANG organized a great group dinner with good food for guests to meet and greet.
We all greatly appreciated this as the majority were solo travellers.
BUNLANG also helped organized group tours which is very nice to help reduce costs and make new friends.
Local Family Hostel also rents scooters which is very handy and sell bus tickets.
Location is also good with multiple markets close by along the water way.
No complaints.

I absolutely loved this place and its inviting, familial vibe. Bunlang, the owner, and his wife run this business, and they are truly the nicest and sweetest people ever. They are always ready to help, share experiences, enjoy a beer, or simply chat about life, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The breakfast and lunch options were absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. I genuinely cherished the conversations we had and the experiences we shared. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

El lugar no estaba limpio, polvo por todos lados. Hay un señor mayor viviendo en el hostel que tiene serios problemas de higiene, el olor en ese dormitorio es insoportable.
En la planta de arriba hay dos duchas y solo un wc. Por las mañanas había siempre colas, y eso que el hostel estaba medio vacío.
Había cucarachas en el baño de abajo.

The Real Place is surely a good value for money! It is close to everything in the central area. The place is simple but offers everything you need, toiletries, free water refill, easy to book tours, there is restaurant with affordable good meals and they accept credit card with no fees. This is a family business and the owner of the place and his wife are always helpful and kind. The owner is always seeking ways to make the place nicer to the guests and is open for feedback as well as implement them fast. They organize nice activities for the guests I specially loved the family dinner with delicious Khmer food, I have tried quite some Khmer food and I can assure that the one they do there was one of the best I have tried in Cambodia! They also have microphones and the possibility of doing karaoke which made our night even more fun. I had a blast. Recommend this place!
One improving point would be about the tour, maybe not much the hostel itself... it would be lovely if the tour guide offered more explanations before we visited the places rather than after, so we can get into them with a briefing of what it is and the significance of it.

Une hospitalité et un accueil génial ! Le gérant est adorable et vous aidera sur tout. Le « full day tour » est à faire, pleins d’activités et de découvertes sympas. Je conseille également le Family Dîner qui permet de sympathiser avec ses voisins de chambre.

The best place for stay in Battambang, really good room, bed and food. The owner is really funny and a really good person. I met a lot of good people there, I really enjoy the activities like the Family Dinner and the Battambang tour. Really good place for stay and meet people

I can't believe this place goes for like $2-3 a night. I'm not saying it's the most amazing spot, but it's incredible value, especially if you're just visiting Battambang for 1-2 days. The owner speakers great English as well as French, and perhaps more languages. He sets up full and half day tours for $9 and $6 respectively which takes you to all the main spots and allows you to meet other people while in Battambang. Location is pretty central to things in Battambang (other a big town).
The facilities could be better, but it was fine for what it was. No real complaints. There is a dog in the house and yes, I did run into seeing a puddle of piss near the lockers, but it was promptly cleaned up.

-Free collection from bus station in tuktuk
-Very chilled and sociable vibe
-Only two bathrooms in the whole hostel and one of them was out of order for 24hr (I know this can’t be helped as it was broken by a guest but still find two toilets too little for so many guests plus the on-site cafe)
-Staff turn off the aircon and take remote away so the rooms are boiling, this happened on our arrival and first thing in the morning so you would wake up so uncomfortable and sweaty. If they couldn’t find the remote they could switch the electric off so the chargers and lights would not work.

Accueil sympathique, bon emplacement, pratique pour le prix. En revanche je regrette que les matelas soient directement sur le sol et qu'il n'y ait pas de dortoirs exclusivement pour les femmes.

Alles war sehr sauber. Die Betten hatten Vorhänge, Steckdosen und eigene kleine Lampen. Unten im Café/Restaurant gab es unter anderem leckeren Kaffee aus der French Press und frische Fruchtshakes. Ich durfte mein Fahrrad in der Garage nebenan parken.

Super accueil dans cette auberge (le gérant parle français). La restauration est bonne. Les lits en dortoir sont corrects. Bon prix !
Attention, il y a deux dortoirs : un climatisé et l'autre non (et apparemment c'est très inconfortable de dormir avec la chaleur).
Ce n'est pas vraiment un point négatif, mais le tour guidé proposé sur la journée n'est pas très intéressant en matinée (je vous conseille de ne faire que l'après-midi).
Par contre la salle de bain/toilette n'est pas propre. En même temps, il n'y en a qu'une pour tout le monde ..(une vingtaine de personnes). Pas très pratique.

The hostel is great! It gives cosy feeling. The location is great and the staff is lovely. It is clean. I cannot believe that for only 2-3$ per night for a bed in doorms you can get such a good hostel.
I liked everything! There was not much space in the doorm room but you have also lockers available where to keep your things.

Definitely needs some TLC, especially the bathroom. Bottom bunk mattresses are also on the floor which isn’t very comfortable. Slightly raised would have been nice

施設はとても綺麗でスタッフの方がフレンドリーで、親切にして頂きました。英語が喋れないので日本語スタッフが居てとても安心出来たのと早朝5時等の早い外出も対応してくれました。
バスタオルも無料で貸して頂けました。共用シャワーもちゃんとお湯も出てエアコンも問題無くききました。
シュムリアップ訪問した場合はまた泊まりに来ます。
値段が安いからシャンプー用品等の備えは無かったです。
アメニティーグッズが施設内に売ってたら良かったなっと思っています。

Sehr Zentrale Hostel und der Preis ist natürlich unschlagbar. Man kann Wasser kostenlos nachfüllen und es werden Touren angeboten, die einem die Umgebung von Battambang wohl gut nahebringen.
Der Tuktuk Fahrer der vom Hostel organisiert wird ist ganz toll und sehr hilfsbereit.
Die Option des Tofu Lok Lak war toll, ansonsten würden wir des Essen bei Pomme ein paar Häuser weiter empfehlen.
Die Schlafsäle waren waren nicht besonders ansprechend, für den Preis vielleicht okay, aber uns persönlich waren die Matratzen zu unbequem und dadurch dass zwischen den Betten nur Gardinen gespannt waren, konnte man bei seinen Bettnachbar:innen sehen kann, was auf dem Handy passiert.
Außerdem gab es nur 2 Toiletten für alle Hostelgäste und Restaurantbesucher:innen, wodurch es manchmal zum Stau kam.
Der Host schien auf den ersten Blick sehr hilfsbereit, aber sobald die Situation ein bisschen komplizierter wurde, reagierte er abwehrend und wenig lösungsorientiert. Als wir ein platten Reifen an einem von ihm geliehenen Scooter hatten, ihm das am Telefon mitteilten und ohne irgendwelche Ansprüche nach Hilfe fragen wollten , verwies er nur darauf, dass im Vertrag keine Versicherung inkludiert ist und dass wir uns selbst darum kümmern sollen, den Scooter zu reparieren, weil er „keine zeit dafür habe sich um alle kaputten Scooter zu kümmern“. Als wir dann bei einer Wekrstatt waren wurde uns gesagt, dass neben dem Schlauch wohl auch der Reifenmantel und die Radachse seit längerem kaputt gewesen sein müssen. Also vorsichtig beim Rollerleihen!

Very friendly staff with cute dogs! Beds were very clean and curtains for privacy. The tour of Battambang organised by them was good but the half day would have probably been enough. Nice common area downstairs. Lots of lockers that fit big bags if you provide own lock.

Very nice and small hostel in a good location. Staff was super friendly and always making sure everyone was okay. Beds were comfortable and had curtains. All beds had plugs and a light. It was quiet at night. The common area is nice and has a chill atmosphere. You can fill your water bottle for free which I always appreciate. Breakfast was good and reasonable priced, didn’t try their other food. They can arrange full and half day tours to see the highlights around Battambang. Overall for the price you pay I would totally recommend staying here!
The dorm and bathroom are quite basic and can get dirty easily. Also there’re only two toilets and two showers for the two dorms so might get busy although for me it wasn’t a problem but the hostel wasn’t full when I was there. Wasn’t super social when I was there but I think it has good potential to be a social hostel too, obviously depends on the people staying there at the time.

So gut wie nichts . es war unglaublich dreckig, und das halbe Hostel besteht aus Asbestplatten.
Niemand gibt sich Mühe, die Kakerlaken laufen über den Flur, die kleinen, nicht sehr gepflegt aussehenden Hunde. Der Unterkunft sind im Speisebereich und auf dem Sofa, die Betten sind viel zu kurz

Auberge de jeunesse vraiment agréable et les prix, pour la nuitée et la nourriture sont très abordables. Le propriétaire a ouvert il y a quelques mois. Bonne ambiance, nourriture et cocktails étaient excellents. Plusieurs trips offerts pour visiter les alentours de Battambang! Bel endroit pour arrêter si vous ne voulez pas faire la route de Siem Reap à Phnom Penh/Sihanoukville/ Kampot d'un seul coup.
