Brilliant

The owner could not do enough for use , the guest house was 145 years old lots of traditional ness and we got what payed for including a continental breakfast

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, which I'm planning to do in 6 months time.

I had a very pleasant stay here, with the friendly owners offering local knowledge on travel and tourist trips. Not the usual couple of catering coffee sachets and UHT milk on offer, (which usually results in me having to buy my own supplies) premium coffee and real milk not the mention the couple of dozen! normal and herbal teas were available in the guest kitchen which was well equipped with microwave, fridge etc . Another reviewer mentioned a faulty shower I would put this down to knowing how to use the controls as I had no problems whatsoever (with the two kinds of complimentary body wash and luxury soap supplied). My room was clean cosy and modern and with a 32-inch TV!

위치좋고 1인실에, 무엇보다 주인 아저씨가 너무너무 친절하심. 일정이 갑자기 변경되어 급하게 예약해서 걱정됐는데, 걱정했던 시간이 아까울정도로 좋았던 숙소임. 한인민박 가느니 여기로 달리세요! ㄱㄱㄱ

없는거 같은데...? 여기 유명해지면 다음에 올때 예약 못할것 같다는 불안감 정도?!

This was a lovely stay in a comfortable room with everything we needed. Thanks!

It is situated in a beautiful quiet suburb, within walking distance to overground train lines, and there is free street parking. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly.

It would be nice to have a bit more variety of breakfast choices.

Good experience, I would come again

The hosts were extremely nice and the room was clean with a good view on the beautiful backyard. The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood, which is very welcome after a long day in the busy city centre.

Friendly, family run place at a good price and well located for south London needs.

The guest house is located in a quiet, pretty Victorian street. Our host was very attentive and friendly. There was a fridge and microwave we could use which we really appreciated. We liked the 24 hour access to a wonderful range of teas, jars of coffee and hot chocolate. Great to have a basin and toilet of our own and we were fine with the hot and clean shared shower. We were allowed to help ourselves to some of the breakfast when our morning plans meant we left earlier than the official breakfast time. Fairly close to Greenwich

This one is on us, not the place, but my husband takes longer to walk than usual, and it was quite a long walk to the railway station for him. It took us at least 40 mins to get to most London attractions, but this is just the flip side of a very reasonable rate. I would have appreciated some yoghurt with breakfast, but as a Gluten Free coeliac, I was well taken care of, even down to a separate GF toaster being used.

A perfect destination for the price: with fantastic hospitality!

Very friendly and welcoming. Always there to help! Perfect location to all parts of London. Rooms were perfect size and everything you needed. It was exceptional for the price!

Adequate and nice place for a short stay in London.

St James guesthouse is a simple but efficient facility in a quiet Lewisham street with nice Victorian dwellings. St. James has a superbly inviting rose garden. The rooms are adequate and clean. A common shower is provided in the corridor. Breakfast is continental (toast, croissant, tea & coffee, fruit). The owners live in the same building and are very alert to be of service to the guests.

To visit London city center and reach it by public transport is not always easy. Lewisham is rather far away and railway stations are not exactly around the corner

Comfortable stay in a quiet location with very pleasant and welcoming host.

Nicely situated property in a very quiet part of London - hardly any noise, wouldn't know you were in London. Free parking on road outside guesthouse. Very pleasant host. Nice clean room with very comfortable bed. Good breakfast with choice of cereals, fruit juice toast and tea/coffee. Croissants and fresh fruit also available.

There was a Good Welcome, and tea & coffee always available in the shared kitchenette. The room was clean and comfortable. I experienced no contention for the shared toilets and showers.

The rooms are not en-suite, there is no cooked breakfast. That said, it is advertised as such and priced accordingly.

Elan and Claire were very kind and friendly. Lovely clean hot showers. Very good value, plenty of free street parking outside. Ideal location for our needs.
