When you’re ready for a little action, grab a kayak, hop on a paddleboard, or just float your worries away on the lily pad. The swim area, complete with stairs, makes it easy to dive into the lake without a care in the world. The dock offers varying water depths, with approximately 4 feet off the front, 6 feet off the right side, and 2 feet off the left side, making it ideal for a range of water activities.
Inside, the fun never stops. Challenge your friends and family to a game of ping pong, or if you’re in the mood for something more low-key, we’ve got board games and smart TVs so you can take it easy at your own pace.
When hunger strikes, fire up the gas grill and enjoy your meal with stunning lake views. You won't find a better spot for a lakeside feast. After a day of easy living, gather around the fire pit for some classic s’mores or simply kick back in one of the many cozy living areas, either indoors or out on the deck. 1. Trained service animals are welcome! Otherwise, we have a strict "no pets" policy. We can help arrange lodging for your pets (as long as they are up to date on shot records which must be provided) at a local boarding facility during your stay, if you'd like; just give us a call...way in advance, as they fill up fast!
2. The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system. This system is a finely balanced biological system. Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper. Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.
3. Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves. Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boats.(make sure to bring your bumpers!).
4. Culverts & Bridges: Be sure to lower your Bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts. Appearances can be deceiving!
