Kings Farm, a spacious, historic farmhouse with original features, is situated in large grounds just a short drive away from the beach at Southwold. This property is great for large group getaways with a wealth of social spaces and relaxation within the house. Sotherton is a rural location but within easy reach of Halesworth, Blythburgh and Wenhaston. Size: Sleeps up to 10, 5 bedrooms. Nearest beach: Less than 7 miles. Nearest amenities: Less than 3 miles. Pets: No pets allowed. Short breaks: Available at this property. Smoking: Not allowed at this property. Rooms: 5 bedrooms (1 with en-suite cloakroom) 3 bathrooms, open plan sitting/dining area, mezzanine, kitchen, snug room, utility room, cloakroom. Beds: 2 King-size bed, 1 double bed, 4 single beds. Luxuries: Wi-Fi, woodburners. General: Oil heating, underfloor heating, two woodburners, storage heaters in bedrooms. A security deposit of £300 is required four weeks prior to your holiday. Utilities: Gas oven and hob, oil-fired Aga, large fridge, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. Standard: Kettle, toaster, iron. Other: Bed linen and towels provided. Celebration Weekend

Celebration Weekend

Once a year the family (10 in all) get together for a weekend away. This year there was the additional celebration of an 84th birthday and the recent wedding of my daughter in New York.The cottage was very qell equipped and appointed - but it was a very, very wet weekend so we missed out on any enjoyment of the garden. But the games facilities were well-used and appreciated. Worst features were the cold bedrooms on our first night as the storage heaters had not been put on. Arriving at the property in the dark, a larger house sign would have been appreciated.
