We waited in the lobby 2 hours past check in time for our room. Safe did not work. Had multiple visits to open it. No AC the last day of my stay. When I returned to the room it was 80 degrees. I was over charged for Valet. I parked 2 cars on the first day and 1 car on the remaining 2 days. I was charged for 3 days each for both cars. Tried to resolve with the manager Tiffany and one month later she has not returned my calls.

Location and breakfast were the plus points od my stay.

The hotel does not clean until and unless you make request at the front desk. This is a first for me. As a result more than 50% of the time, my room was not unclean.

The location and breakfast options were great.

The customer service was terrible. Front desk is not friendly at all. We ran out of shampoo and shower gel on day one and we’re told there is no more. No offer for the next day. We had to keep asking. It finally got replaced on our last day. We asked for more pillows twice and if you don’t ask before 5 o’clock, there is no one there to get them for you until the next morning. I even offered to come down and get them. They said their team is gone.

Proximity to the convention center. The space could have been really good and comfortable.

The floor was so dirty it made my feet black - and my child. The hot water barely came out as a trickle. Taking a shower was unpleasant. By the time I filled the bathtub up to bathe my son the water was cold. The staff did not respond well and were poor communicators. They tried to fix the water one day and made it worse. The next day they never came - to find out that the rain had caused flooding. They could have let us know. Breakfast was poor with runny eggs.

The personal at the front door were outstanding. Breakfast chief was phenomenal.

Booked this due to its close proximity to the convention centre for going to a conference. Room was comfortable and clean. Really nice that there is included breakfast and they also give you free drink coupons. There are also some great restaurants and bars nearby in the Warehouse District and it’s only a 15-20 minute walk to the French Quarter.

Stayed on the Julia St side and it was noisy very early in the morning with construction on the street.

Absolutely nothing. The property has absolutely zero parking unless you get it valet for $45 a day.

The people at the desk were incredibly rude and standoffish. The people out front doing valet were the only nice and helpful people .

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to check-in early. The breakfast buffet was pretty good as well.

My bathtub didn't drain out as normal. I guess there may be a clog in the pipes.

Breakfast was the best thing

First thing I got to the hotel @ 3:40pm to be able to try to beat the check in rush the lady said my room was not ready wait until 4pm I waited patiently but was in a rush because I was attending a wedding I waited until 4:50pm and went to the desk finally she gave me my key. Next thing you pay for “velet” that was a joke, I’m not sure if the hotel itself is short staffed but me and my disabled husband checked out at 10:33 am and waited outside until 11:40 am for our vehicle Very bad experience with this hotel stay

The location of the hotel was the best part during Mardi Gras.

The whole staff during check in was extremely rude and unprepared for the amount of people checking in. The process took over 2 hours to get into the room, and was put in the wrong room for the first night.

Hailey on the front desk did an amazing job in very difficult circumstances, conjured up a room out of nowhere. Can't believe how unflappable she is,..promote that girl. Hotel facilities were excellent, pool was baltic though! Breakfast was great, omelettes cooked to order, nice vibe in the hotel, great location on parade routes, nice bar area. Couldn't say a bad word about this hotel.

Only thing I didn't like was having to check out and come home.

nothing it was a horrible experience

I had a horrible experience at this Embassy Suites. We stayed in a room that smelled like smoke and when we went to the front desk for help we were turned away and told to come back the next day to try to change the room. In the middle of the night on two separate occasions, we had staff try to enter our room while we were sleeping. The next morning we checked out of the hotel because of how unaccommodating and unhelpful the staff were. Completely unprofessional staff members and would never recommend. I can’t even get a hold of their front desk through the phone to talk to a manager for help getting a refund.

Was very surprised and happy with our suite. Breakfast was excellent and nice to see that they had an omelet station. Hotel was very clean and the surprise that they had an happy hour with free drinks for that hour, as well as having a hot breakfast included. Was not happy with the Concierge as she seemed more interested in being behind the registration desk helping them, and when I did get her attention, if it was not a tour she sold, she did not seem to want to help or offer any kind of assistance and we were dismissed. Only bad feeling I had from our whole stay.

Concierge could have been more helpful. Felt she was not interested in helping us or offering suggestions for getting around town and seeing sights. As soon as I mentioned Hop on Hop off, she just said she did not deal with Hop on Hop off, and turned and went back to the reception desk where I had originally found her after asking for some assistance. We did purchase the 3 day HOHO and used this as our transportation for the 3 days in New Orleans during the day.

Decent as expected

First room, 512 had others already in it though they had literally just called to be moved they were as shocked as us someone else had been given the room. Thought the new room, 614 was fine until I tried taking a shower a few hours later and water was scalding hot. Called the front desk and was told someone would clue sent up. However about 40 minutes later they called saying maintenance said the fixture had been replaced recently and they "guessed it hadn't been set properly" or something along those lines. The next morning 12/3 when I spoke with the front desk associate I was told the manager Cody Mayo would call me on Monday. That was weeks ago and I've yet to get a call.

The Omelette

1st the staff at this hotel was absolutely rude, nasty, and not professional AT ALL. We arrived at the hotel at 10am. We understood that check in wasn’t really until 4pm. But upon arrival, we were told that if any rooms became available they would try to accommodate us. We said that was fine. We asked if possibly we could eat breakfast. The clerk at the desk told us NO, you have to wait until tomorrow for breakfast. There was a couple right behind us that was waiting on a room, as we went to sit down she gave them vouchers for breakfast. A few hours later, my husband walked back up to see if any rooms were available for us, he was told no, since you’re being rude, you now have to wait until 5. It took everything in me not to loose my cool. But, we didn’t want too mysteriously loose our reservation. Needless to say we waited from 10-6pm for a room. We even overheard them give a room to someone before 4pm check in, “since you have been waiting patiently, and been nice, we have a room ready for you”. Smh. The rooms need a lot of updating. For a Hilton hotel I definitely expected way better service than what we got. I wouldn’t recommend this particular hotel if you’re looking for good customer service, and updated facility. We will never stay at this hotel again. EVER!
