Estupenda estancia

Habitación y cama estupendas. Desayuno buenísimo. Personal muy amable y atento. Limpieza perfecta. Localización en el centro muy cerca de todo lo importante en una zona comercial muy buena.

Lo peor que la entrada al hotel está en una zona no muy agradable, por debajo de la avenida Michigan y por la noche no nos gusto mucho pasar por ahí. El hotel tiene entrada también por un centro comercial pero por la noche está cerrado.

View for “city view” room wasn’t particularly pleasing, but this had little impact on what was overall a very positive stay

It was great and I can't wait to visit again.

The breakfast was delicious and filling. The location was convenient for the things we wanted to do downtown. I will definitely be returning. The complementary popcorn and bottled water was a plus!

The hotel was amazing, clean, and conveniently located. There was nothing that I didn't like about my stay.

Overall the stay was beyond very good, but not quite excellent!

Location, cleanliness, rooftop ambiance in the day & night.

Hostess was not friendly, not even smiling. Menu choices for breakfast(no pancakes) & dinner(slim pickings)

A great hotel to spend a special occasion.

The location of the hotel for us and our anniversary dinner was excellent and walkable for us, which was essential, since we did not have in/out parking privileges. Our breakfast was delicious and delivered according to our specifications/requests.

Valentine's Day getaway

The Gwen was great. I absolutely loved that there was a shopping mall connected to the hotel. We didn't have to go outside. All the sites were within walking distance.

We had reservations for upstairs at the Gwen but we could not go on the terrace because of rain😢

Exceptional

We booked the Gwen after we saw it had won a Conde Nast award and we were not disappointed. The rooms were big, comfortable, there was enough light, huge bathroom.... the lobby/bar area is great and buzzing and staff was really friendly. We would happily come back.

Paid to use the rooftop lounge. Disappointed it was on floor 4. Not advertised appropriately. Requested fire pit area in advance. It was broken. We had to ask three times before anyone even explained why they could not light it. Asked about getting a drink to the room. It was at 12 after room service ended. We were told it was not possible. Not even offered waters. Poor customer service in general.

I wish I’d know the room would look down inside the hotel I would have paid more for an outside view room. every time the AC turned off and on it sounded like a fire door opening and closing, very frustrating when trying to sleep

Beautiful hotel, clean, close to shopping

First room we had no..second room YES! WHEN USING booking ALWAYS call..they do not always book you the right room..

I enjoyed this hotel very much.. I usually stay at the 5 star hotels while in town BUT this is a beautiful hotel and just as nice! I will come back!

Exceeded my expectations.

Breakfast was DELICIOUS! We really loved the waffles. The room was very comfortable and cozy. I enjoyed the city view. The rooftop was a whole vibe! We loved it. That’s where we took really nice pictures for my daughter’s birthday. I would LOVE to stay again in the summertime.

Great place to stay, relax, enjoy, and take in the atomsphere.

Friendly nice staff from the first day to the last. Food was good and the drinks as well. The room was fabulous. I plan on returning. The room was clean and neat. The view was nice.

I was happy with everything. The price of parking was high if I had to complain.

Comfortable stay in prime location

The location is perfect. The beds are very comfortable and the room is clean. They provide Milton Brown bath products which are wonderful.
