Quiet & comfy in Historic area

Great location 10 min walk to historic sites, restaurants, bars, and waterfront. Paid parking a blk away. Room was small/medium with no view, but very quiet and very comfortable. Queen bed (double?) with narrow amt of space on either side of bed. Firm-ish (not soft) bed, good pillows. Spacious and nice bathroom. Good lighting and sufficient outlets. Breakfast had enough options eggs, meat, breads, waffles, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit - not high end, but more than sufficient. Nice and helpful staff at the desk. Crystal, who works in the breakfast room was super nice.

We would have liked a king bed, but I think it's not available due to the historic nature of the building. Also, our room didn't have a view, also due to where the building is, in the historic district. Front rooms (facing the street) would have a view, but may be noisy?

We stayed one night to keep an appointment in Philly and the hotel met every need for that purpose.

If you are sightseeing in Philadelphia, the location is excellent. Walk to all the museums. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast outstanding.

The room was very nice but the location made the bathroom cold (winter). It was first floor at the end of the hall.

Had a great time in Philly!

Breakfast was great, the lady working there in the breakfast area was super pleasant every morning! Room was clean. Parking was $23/day if you have a car. The garage is not on site, but it's not a terrible walk from the hotel. The area around the hotel was nice, felt safe. Easy walk to Independence Hall and Liberty Bell. Also easy walk to the Betsy Ross house.

The room was definitely on the small side for the price paid, but I guess when you stay in a big city, you can expect that.

Central hotel with close by parking.

good location of the hotel. Free cookies. Good place to explore the city. Parking is 5 minutes away (a fair price to use parking compared to other hotels).

After we changed the room all good. First room had a strange smell.

Great stay

Central location, only 5 minutes walk from Independence Hall and the other historical sights. Really good breakfast and loved the Liberty Bell waffles. Staff friendly. Room was lovely and quiet.

Great place and location for a quick stay.

The breakfast had a wide range of food. The rooms were the prefect size for two people. The location was perfect for history buffs.

The value for money for one night was a bit steep.

Very nice hotel right in the heart of the historic district. Very clean, comfortable, and a delicious breakfast. We were able to walk to all of the sites we wanted to see.

Parking was offsite, but it was only a short walk away.

Location was excellent, in the heart of the Old City. Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Near good restaurants.

The only problem was upon leaving the elevator had broken down and we were on the top floor had to walk up all those stairs and again walk down with all the luggage bad luck I guess but still annoying..

Staff - especially the cleaning lady! Front desk also Shower and bathroom lighting.

Mattress was a disaster. Came away with chronic back pain - both of us. Room was smaller than in the photos.

Everything. From location - central - to the lovely coffee/snacks station in the lobby. We love our stay!
