Amazing mini-suite with an outdoor deck, very modern, clean, & great location.

Great communication from the host, with clear instructions, directions, & even photos. The room is more like a mini-suite with a couch, a small kitchen (with a Real stove AND a microwave), a nice-size fridge, and a dining room table with 2 bench seats. It's like a studio apartment. And there's a really nice outdoor deck. Plus a hot local nightclub across the street, that's more real than the tourist spots! Great location, near the main strip, but also more quiet and with real local residents.

Everything was great. I have no complaints at all. I will be back!

Exceptional

Location, service, price. Fresh building with everything you need inside of your appartament. I love the rooftop pool. Property manager is very helpful and always ready to help. Great place!

BURGLARY

BURGLARY Our apartment was broken into as the door to the balcony was ridiculously secured and you could open the locked door within seconds from outside! (There is also a proof video) Valuables worth €1000 were stolen from us. No help at all came from the direct supervisor of the apartments (Alberto). He hasn't responded to any of our messages. To this day, of course, we haven't gotten a cent back from our damage. We know that this house has already been broken into 3 times due to the lack of security!!!!

The worst accommodation I've ever experienced.

Absolutely nothing.

This experience has been horrific. Upon arrival, I realized that the host was using misleading photos to advertise this unit. The room did not have a patio as photographed, it did not have a stovetop; but rather two broken portable burners that were heavily soiled, rendering the kitchen useless. The kitchen sink was not draining water. There were cockroaches in the hallways. The entire unit had stains, cigarette burns, and bodily fluids everywhere. The bathroom sink was not functioning property, along with a broken shower-head, again, making this space absolutely unusable. On top of all this, the host messaged me via third-party in order to extort extra money from me. Finally, the host overcharged me for my short stay, as I had to vacate for reasons mentioned above. Stay far away from this place. The neighbourhood is sketchy as well.

Disappointing

Wi fi was fine and good location

Air conditioner didn’t work well and also every time when we were not in room it stopped working so our room was constantly hot and we were struggling to sleep.

Very goood place to stay but with minor things can go improve much more and get a greater rating

I liked the location of the place, the easy way i got communication with my host for details on how to get the key and password for the wifi and the door.

The first day we reached, we reached a bit late in the night. The only minor thing is that there were only 2 towels the first night. It was until the other day that the lady took some more towels since we ere 4 friends. Then there was no soap to bath. Other that that the place was safe, secure and in a very good location

Nice location, one big room.

Location was close to many of the facilities in Playa del Carmen.

Bar across the street was a problem during the night specially right before and after closing. Furthermore, this is an apartment with one room, it has two separate beds but only one big room.

What breakfast? I liked the location and the size of thr room.

We hated that the restroom light would turn off after about a min, wouldn't turn back on. Its not safe taking a shower in the dark or pooping. The bed was way too hard.

Once the pool was accessible it's a very nice set up

The pool was out of use for 3 of MY 5 days of staying there. The room was very small, the a/c went off every time I opened the door and took awhile to restart every time. It was minimally equipped

Good location, safe neighborhood, little kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Good communication with the staff.

Tv didn't work, they offer to fix it on our last day but there was no point then. Toilet kept blocking even though we didn't throw toilet paper. It was super annoying. Also the pictures didn't show that the 'balcony' was a small place between two walls with a window to neighbor's shower room. There was no way you could use it for relaxing, perhaps.only for drying the towels.

Disappointing

it was close to the center and it was silent, so you can sleep at night.

when I arrived it wasn’t clean, there were hairs on the toilet and ground. The room had always a bad smelling probably because of the drain in the shower. There are better apartments for this price.

It was just a place to stay while waiting for another Condo to become available. Wouldn't recommend

The bathroom, Shower had very hot water and good pressure unlike most in Playa. It was quiet. Pool was the selling point but never used it as the water was cold.

Ground floor with no window except a small 2x6' space to step out into. But it has a 12' high cement wall with a metal guard rail and razor wire on top the wall. You had to look straight up to see the Sky. It's a very small one room studio. It looks bigger in the pictures. The Add on Costs like Vat tax, electricity, and cleaning fee's at check-in made it not price worthy. Better prices to be had. Two towels and both were were frayed and should be replaced.

The Studios is a few blocks from the busy downtown, area is nice and quiet. The room is big and kitchen is equppied so you can cook a little. Wifi is really good, and the roof top pool is pretty big for the size of the building. The manager is very attentive to your needs and nice to deal with!

Little things would make a big difference to the guest's comfort

Max is great and is always available to help. Location is good and Walmart is close. The kitchen is good for quick meals. The pool is nice and heated.

The bed could be better, as well as the pillows that are really bad. The air conditioner cools but not much, for the size of the room it should be more powerful. The bed only has sheets that are not of good quality, no blanket… little things would make a big difference to the guest’s comfort.

Excellent apartment

The apartment was really clean, spacious and with all the necessary amenities. It’s in a quiet neighborhood so you won’t hear any noise from the street during the night. The beach and the city center are only 10 mins walk distance. The rooftop pool is a very nice place to relax and it’s never crowded. Apartment cleaning and towels/bedsheets change are also included. You will be welcomed by Max, who is really kind and helpful, and will show you the apartment. I can’t find negative points, definitely recommended!

Lack of cleanliness

Self checkout.

They charge you extra for the cleaining, however the reality is that only once every week is provided. I requested to clean it because the door from the shower was no closing properly and there were water all over the bathroom...But it was denied. Noisy place during the night since there is a bar in from of it. The AC was making a funny noise while working. Not enough toilet paper provided for the days. I visited several times Playa del Carmen, for the price was expected a better place.

nice host. exactly what I was looking for. I would stay there again.

everything went well. easy access. safe location. safe building. away from the tourist area so nice and quiet and more of a local feel, which i prefer.

the only thing i would think to say is a blanket would be nice to have and the pillow cases were not comfortable to me. and the clean towel exchange wasn't as often as laid out in the apartment rules. luckily i was travelling alone, or it would have been an issue for my travel partner. everything else was fine.

A convenient stay in Playa del Carmen if you are with a baby.

The location was perfect for us, away from the noise and party area from Playa del Carmen yet close to everything. We liked the terrace and the pool. Several places to eat close by and Walmart 5 min walk very handy.

The cleaning is only done once every 7 days, if you are a family with a baby it can be a problem because it needs more frequent cleaning. A bit noisy because the bathroom has a window located directly in front of the elevator. Definitely noise played a major factor since the room is on the bottom floor.
