Convenient hotel to stay in Benicia with tasty breakfast

The location was great being just a 5 minute drive from the marina/main street. Fantastic breakfast with hot foods such as omelettes, sausages, cinnamon rolls, coffee, juice, and yogurt. WiFi was fast and easy to connect to.

Needed an extra bar of soap and the walls were thin. You could hear the guests upstairs if you stay on the first floor. For a last minute stay the rooms are nearly $300 which is not cheap.

Disappointing

Rooms desperately need updating. Bed was quite uncomfortable. One lampshade was torn and frayed, also the chair in room was torn at arm rests and looked dirty. Room was also very dark with very insufficient lighting from ceiling lights and one bedside lamp. Bathroom and pillows were fine. Breakfast is a definite plus.

Marina at the reception area is delightful 🙂. Amie in the kitchen is marvelous. Clean and great breakfast 🙂

I paid for an executive queen room with a love seat and coffee table base on the picture on booking.com but was given a normal executive queen room. I spoke with Teresa at reception about it, she states it booking.com's problem not the hotel. She states the pictures are deceiving. I hope the correct description of rooms will be address. Thanks.

Convenient location, good breakfast, comfortable stay.

Breakfast was good. Eggs or omelets, sausage, pancakes, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, various breads, muffins, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, juice, coffee. Buffet was well maintained and staff (Emmie) was friendly and attentive. 2 room suite was roomy.

Floor in breakfast area was sticky. Showed water damage. Carpet in room seemed like it needed to be cleaned.

Location was perfect for the event we were attending. Room and facility was clean and quiet.

The bed was not very comfortable. Coffee with continental breakfast was cold. TV remote was not working correctly. Had to get out of the bed and hold the remote inches from the tv to turn it off. Just inconvenient.

Clean room with a bizarre visitor!

Rooms were clean and free breakfast was very nice

Rooms had a funny smell. But worst part was a very strange incident where a drunk customer somehow entered our daughters’ room while we were gone, passed out on one of their beds and had to be taken away by police/paramedics. The only reason we suspected anything happened was that when we returned to the room at night there were two unopened beer cans left on the night stand. We called the front desk to let them know and that’s when we were told the whole story. The staff member changed the sheets in the room, but we don’t know if he had planned to tell us about it or not. We asked for another room, which he arranged, but then my girls started to feel uneasy and decided to just stay with us in our room. We were able to get a full refund on the room, which we appreciated.

Stay was close to family which was convenient.

Staff was friendly and the breakfast options were decent.

The first floor room was older however better than the second room, which was more dated. The second floor elevator smelled smokey or old. King bed was not as comfortable as the queens on first floor.

The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly.

There were no black out shades in the room. We were on the ground floor across from a very well lit gas station. The lights from the gas station shown through very brightly through the gauze curtains. It kept waking me up.

Lots of negative surprises

Beds were comfortable

Very tiny parking garage. I was charged $100 over what I was told I was going to be paying on a family vacation. Blinds would not shut so room had sun blaring through. Cable TV did not work. No comfortable place to go outside.
