Great Value, Best Location, Safe Rooms

Best location possible - just off Waikiki Beach. Property felt very safe and all the other guests were friendly and considerate. Staff were amazing.

Its a hostel so obviously not the cleanest or most comfortable bed but its great value for the price and I had no troubles sleeping.

Excellent value. Basic but everything was done right. Staff is immensely helpful.

Good for a solo traveler

The location is very good, there are several stores nearby, where you can have coffee and eat. There is a hotel on the side where you can get water. There is a towel for you to use in the bath and on the beach. There is a fridge inside the room, the bathroom is inside too. They offer tours to partners and write events they may have on the boards.

There is no water in the hostel so you will need to buy it or go to the hotel next door to get it.

Absolute disgrace I exited and stayed elsewhere as quickly as I could walk out the door

I made a serious mistake booking this location/premises. This was a hostel and the private room I booked was "Dingy" and only accessible by passing through a dormitory arrangement. The room was shabby, dilapidated and was absolutely disgraceful. At first sight I immediately left to seek an alternate location to stay that was well lit and where I actually felt safe and secure. Booking.com needs to seriously review offerings of this type to ensure a certain standard is maintained. This location should not be offered by Booking.com and in fact I will seriously reconsider future bookings if this is an acceptable standard. I was absolutely horrified by this location, the general lack of amenities the condition of the room and accessibility and overall my general safety,

Room access only through a shared dormitory, lack of amenities shared bath toilet, poor lighting back street location, general "dingy" appearance, very low standard and yet I paid a considerable fee for a backpacker environment.

Simply fascinating!!!

Location is absolutely superior! Just minutes away from the beach, many restaurants and attractions. The place itself is very clean and looked after, friendly staff. Another awesome thing (for me at least), is that there is no physical room key, just a phone app so you don't have to worry about losing/misplacing your keys. There's also a kitchen and fridge available (not in the rooms), and free beach towels to use on a daily basis! :) Would definitely return if I'm on a solo trip to Honolulu again!

One of my dorm roommates was snoring incredibly loud throughout some of the nights, which was disturbing to me and other roommates. According to property rules, after 10pm it's supposed to be quiet hours, and he might as well have been playing music with that level of noise... I could've asked to be moved, but I doubt all three of us would have been for one person. Wish there was a way to limit snorers to private rooms only... but that's really my only complain, and it's not related to the facility itself.

Great stay and lots of amenities

The location is ideal, half a block away from the beach and plenty of lawn chairs, snorkel gear, wake boards. The facility also has everything you need to prepare for meal. Laundry is also provided for a small fee.

The area is a little loud and their free parking is about a 15 minute walk. I would advise to avoid renting a car on weekends as it was difficult to find a spot

Great value, come again

Great staff, fantastic location, recommendations for food and recommendations for things to do. Wish I could have stayed longer :-) Next time I will, and will surf and snorkel, as proposed.

The mattresses sound like they are wrapped in plastic, which is quite loud. I guess you need that, but still. Mould in the bath is not nice.

Very good

Perfect location! Very good value for money! We were able to take/borrow beach chairs, inflatables and towels to the beach. Friendly staff and great reasonable trips and activities on offer. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit!

Safe, comfy, clean accommodation within a stones throw from Waikiki Main Beach!

Using the Goki app to login and access rooms etc. Very tech savvy, also meant not fussing or worrying about losing keys. Rooms were cleaned regularly - bathrooms to a very good standard. Super helpful staff. Liked the baggage storage, left my main suitcase at the hostel while I travelled to mainland USA for five days. Very hand. Great location, safe too!

The only downside was the rustic kitchen, no real bench prep area to prep food etc.

Lots of wonderful people! Ear plugs for some outside noise. Longer stays have to move rooms often.

I loved all the people that I got to meet and how clean the hostel is kept.

Having to move often to accommodate longer stays was a bit difficult at times. I did enjoy how it helped create new meetings of other hostel mates though. The noise levels from construction and outside were a bit difficult to sleep at times since the windows don't close.

Superb

Awesome location 3 min away from Waikiki Beach. The hostel offers surf boards and snorkeling gear. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had great roommates, the room was clean, and there was a bathroom for our room only.

No ac in the rooms but the fans helped a bit.

Very basic

Very central location. Has great wifi and fine bathrooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The rooms and facilities are very basic, they do not even have hooks to hang your towel after the beach or a shower, it is simply a room with two single beds and bedding. It is also very loud as it is facing the street. The beds are not very comfortable and very squeaky. The place is quite run down compared to when I stayed a few years ago, the communal spaces are not really somewhere you would want to hang out.
