Miserably hot room, non existent customer service, surprisingly disappointing stay at a Hyatt
The Breakfast was good.
The air conditioner in our room was broken and we had to call several times, they would come fix it , it would work for an hour or so then stop working again. It was too warm to come back to the room and cool off after sightseeing all day, which I normally like to take a nap while on vacation but was unable to because the room was 77 degrees with no breeze! This made me even more tired and NOT rested at all, I had many activities planned and was so stressed out and worried that the air conditioner would not be working when I returned to the room I never was really able to enjoy myself. The staff was unconcerned about our comfort and no manager or supervisor ever called me to ask if they could do anything to help. The front desk staff was rude and seemed disinterested in my complaints. One day they sent someone up to the room because when I came back to the room to rest (thinking it was fixed) I called yet again they sent someone up about half hour after, I had to wait, I couldn't rest , I couldn't get ready.. this was my vacation and I was stressed out! The maintenance man came up only to open the AC and then got a call saying he would be back! I was like when? I want to get ready?! He said he had to ask if he could stay for overtime because he was done at 3pm! Oh but he would be sure to pass it on!!! I had to get ready in the 78 degree room and leave for an evening cruise.. it ruined my night and stressed me out... we checked out the next day still no AC working! We left our luggage and I asked for the manager, was told they weren't there til noon, they took my number and still as of today 5/22/24 no one has called me... I called them today on my lunch break, still no I'm sorry, how can we make this right nothing except one night off my bill! I was never able to rest fully the 4 nights we stayed and neither was my daughter.

Convenient Modern Facility.
Convenient location to downtown. Very nice room. Price of room on the high side.
Water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Sometimes it was ok and other times it stayed cool.

Eventually things worked out.
Good location, near free bus transportation. Many good restaurants nearby.
Arrived to a broken air conditioner in our room. Reception refused to change our room even though we notified the desk immediately. We had to wait an hour for repair after a long car ride

Overall the hotel is great, I just wish I would have known about all of the extra charges before hand.
The location was good, the hotel bar & hotel rooftop bar were really nice, good breakfast and kind staff.
A lot of unexpected extra charges. One was the parking garage. The website and parking garage sign says maximum of $18 a day but it charged me $36 for 24 hours and when I asked about it the staff said it’s only $18 if you park after midnight.
