Nice, pleasant stay in an older inn.

Great Location - easy walking to most downtown historic sites. They also provide a great complimentary continental breakfast. And, our king size bed was super comfortable.

Small lobby and no communal areas. Also, carpeting in our room, the hallways and general areas was old with some stains. That contributed to a slight “musty” smell. However, It wasn’t that terrible and after a while you didn’t notice. Also, windows do not open for any fresh air. I think that is one of the reason for the musty odor.

Great time in Charleston and loved hotel’s central location for mother-daughter trip but didn’t sleep well.

This hotel was as close to home away from home as possible.

Conveniently located. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Friendly, professional staff. Best parking in the center of town.

This is a lovely inn in a perfect location. Now the furnishings just needs some TLC

Beautiful, well-located property with large, comfortable rooms. The continental breakfast brought to the room is such a nice touch, especially during Covid times. The shower was updated with easy accessible doors and the water very hot. Everyone we met who worked at the inn was wonderful and helpful.

My bed was soft and lumpy and kind of like sleeping sideways on a ramp. I felt like I was rolling to the floor. OK, that is a slight exaggeration ;-) but there was a definite slope. The other bed was much better. The sheets were scratchy. The bed headboards appeared to be free standing and just held up by the mattress - very noisy when they rattled with every turn. The wardrobe door was falling off its hinge and the TV crammed in there had to be small. The safe did not work. In other words, the furniture needs some loving care to measure up to the beauty of the building.
