Blackrock Carole Ville Guesthouse

Lovely BnB. Susan and Dennis went out of their way to make our stay comfortable with lots of advice about what to see and do. Lovely breakfast with home made porridge. Rooms were a good size and bed was comfy.

My time there felt like I was staying with family.

I liked everything! The house was warm and cozy and immaculately clean. Breakfast was outstanding and everything tasted so fresh. The highlight was probably the hosts who were so welcoming and helpful.

Just go ahead and book, you won't regret it!

What a pleasant surprise! We booked with Suzie and Dennis on short notice after experiencing various travel issues, so let's just say we needed this little oasis. The place is family run, super clean, with gorgeous rehabbed rooms. The hosts were not only helpful getting around, finding things to do, and just a pleasure to chat with, but they genuinely enjoy their job and it shows.

The location was just a wee bit out of cork city center, but completely accessible by bus (maybe 20 minutes?). The buses were very frequent, the hosts were super helpful with navigating (the bus stop was also right outside!), and the bus drivers were kind and patient. I think if we had more time we would have enjoyed the location even more (the immediate area was really cute!), but alas we only a one evening.

Highly recommended, it was a dream!

B&B —> spectacular Host‘s —> AMAZING Breakfast —> fantastic Rooms —> very clean and comfy We were blown away by everything. After a warm welcome from Susan&Denis (with a brilliant coffee) we felt right at home. the atmosphere was very familiar and fun. they helped us out with everything and recommended very good spots; so did Eddie. (shoutout to Eddie) :-) PS: Susan‘s homemade scones and bread were very delicious. Thank you for having us, we definitly would book again and again and again.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, man gab uns gute Tipps , wo man in Cork ausgehen kann, es gibt gleich in der Nähe eine Bushaltestelle wo man schnell in die Stadt kommt. Möchte noch Danke sagen, für das Brot, was wir geschenkt bekommen haben😊

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We arrived early and they were able to let us check in , which was much appreciated. They were also very helpful and informative regarding local attractions.

it was perfect for what we needed

Breakfast was amazing. And the host was brilliant, suggesting local places to visit and eat. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. loved seeing the dogs play in the backyard.

Wonderful accommodations! The room was beautiful and clean. The owners were so nice and shared lots of great info about the area. We took their recommendation for lunch and ended up eating there twice.

Beautiful house with enchanting ladies running the house. very clean an a big parking lot in front (very important for our two motorcycles). Excellent breakfast and lots of hints where to go and what to see. An absolute recommendable b&b!!!

Wildly overpriced for the lack of space and a continental breakfast.

The property was immaculately clean. The staff were very friendly.

The bedroom was very small for 2 beds. There was a dining chair placed between furniture in a 1.5 ft gap for no reason, which made it difficult to access the curtains. The buffet area was ridiculously small and poorly laid out. I had to queue for every item to eat. It took about 7 minutes to get my breakfast to the table...even though my table was about a foot and a half away.

We stayed only for one night but we would like to stay longer because the hosts are lovely and the place too. In Carole Ville are available all the facilities included a private parking for the car. The B&B is less a minute walk from the bus stop and with the bus you can go confortably to the city center. The hosts are always happy to help you or to give you some information. The ensuite was very clean and confortable. The breakfast will satisfy everyone. If we will turn back in Cork we will surely stay here.

Great time in Cork

Susan and her family was absolutely lovely. We liked everything about our stay, the location is excellent, close to the center, but still peaceful, the room we stayed in is very nice, comfortable, and got cleaned every day. The breakfast was impressive. The most we liked were the hosts, they were very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful from arrival to departure

Great hosts who do everything to ensure guests have the most comfortable stay. The breakfast is good. The bus to the city stops right outside the front door, so transport is not a problem either.

Greatest little place in Blackrock, Cork

An authentic local house, owned by locals, in a quiet suburban neighborhood, but not too far from the city center. The room and en-suite bathroom were clean and well kept, also recently renovated and refurbished as the owners told us. Susan and her husband were awesome hosts, very helpful and friendly, you can tell they are eager to introduce you to Cork’s best places, and supply you with the best local delicacies at breakfast! Definitely book your stay here if you want to get the feeling of a family home with the services and high standards of an hotel. Best of both worlds!

It was an amazing experience. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the accommodations were cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and made with fresh, local ingredients. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

It was a short stay but from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was great and there was nothing we didn't like. I highly recommend it!
