Exceptional

Amazing views all around and comfortable house, now I want to live here permanently! You need around 25-30 minutes to walk to the center of Flåm from here, but the walk itself is worth it every time.

Clean, comfortable stay in a beautiful location!

Lovely view! Location was a 20min beautiful walk into the town center at Flam . We found getting on/off at Lunden station very convenient since it’s just a 5 min walk from the property. The property itself was extremely clean with just the right amenities. WiFi was fast.

Fantastic location and great way to experience the area

The location was amazing, so close to the river and waterfalls, great walks and an easy drive into town. Even though its close to the train line it does not run at night or early in the morning so is not intrusive at all.

The main bedroom is quite so we had our cases outside the room.

Can't Wait to Come Back

We loved our stay at Steinsholen Home located just outside Flam. It was nice being within walking distance of town but enough away that it was relaxing. The home has four bedrooms and it was nice that our kids had their own rooms and space. There is a yard that our boys enjoyed playing soccer in with the ball and goal that were at the house. We loved having a comfortable place to come back to every night after busy days of activities. Can't wait to visit again!

This was the perfect home for our holiday!

The view is stunning! The location is perfect for walking into town. The home is neat, clean and cozy. The outdoor eating area was an unexpected pleasure.

We had a great stay here during our trip to Flåm! Ideal for groups travelling with a car. Just a short drive to get all

Comfortable and well equipped kitchen.

Not all rooms had a heater, might be cold in winter but was perfect for spring!

Beautiful stay in a welcoming cabin with mountain views, definitely recommend.

We had an amazing stay here, beautiful location with Flam station/harbour only few minutes drive away with free parking. Flamsbana train passes front of house which was lovely to see, it did not disturb us at all. Property was warm and welcoming with all the facilities you would need. It was nice to have the peaceful rural location with mountain views but not be too far away from Flam. I would definitely recommend !

Cossy cabin in an incredible area

Perfect location and ultra kind owners :) we had no issues during our check-in, heating was perfect, and all was clean and tidy. We felt like home, and you can feel the kindness in all the spaces.

Good stay near Flam

Quite comfortable house, well equipped and clean.

The house is actually a kind of mobile-home. The bedroom with double-bed is very tiny. The house is situated just neearby the road and the railway, but fortunately these are not too busy and noisy.

The location is absolutely fantastic with the view if the river and waterfalls from the windows. The house itself is super clean, tastefully furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. We will definitely be returning.

Very good

The property has a spacious living area and kitchen with four small bedrooms. It is a short walk from the downtown portion of Flam. I walked home after our buffet dinner at Fretheim Hotel. We were there in mid-May, and the wild flowers covered the back yard adding to the lovely view of the creek from our bedroom window.

The room with the full bed was quite small, with just barely enough room to walk around the bed.

Flåm with family

Proximity to the Flåm quai, parking, everything you could possibly need was there (even dishwasher and washing machine). The train tracks nearby did not bother us a bit. It was superb in its 4 rooms.

Excellent!

It was really excellent! Our son is a train freak, so with sight on the tracks out of the window it could not have been better! The house was very clean, very comfortable and nothing was missing! The owners thought really well about the needs of the guests. First time i found a holiday home so well equiped. The house has a really nice garden with a cherrytree and a neighbour with lovely goats. We really enjoyed our stay here as a family.

Quite pricy, but from the other side the price is also worth it.

Everything you need and more in a place!

We liked that the location was right by the water and the mountains so that we could enjoy the view specially in the mornings! We also liked the cleanliness and that the property was equipped with everything that we needed. We loved how accommodating the hosts were and how quickly they responded, made the stay even more memorable!

We loved the location right next to a beautiful river...and the place was cozy and decorated with lots of love. It was the perfect stay. Everything was super clean and well equipped for cooking. We could not have asked for anything more.
