Simple but good value

Great location. Simple room but good value for money . Easy walk to restaurants.

Bathroom light didn't work or if you got it to switch on it flickered so badly.

Es war o.k., aber sicher kein zweitesmal.

Die Lage, die Freundlichkeit des Personals und das Frühstück

Das Aussehen des Hotels ist leider nicht sehr ansprechend. Der Eingangsbereich zum Zimmer war ebenfalls sehr unsauber. Das Zimmer ist ok, allerdings fehlt es an Haken im Bad und der Balkon ist von allen zugänglich und auch nicht schön...eher Hinterhofatmosphäre..

Chaotisch und unfreundlich. Nur kaltes Wasser. Zu teuer dafür.

Es gab 2 Tage lang kein warmes Wasser. Nur kalt duschen und keine Entschuldigung oder gar Information!

Fijne grote kamer met perfecte lokatie

De locatie was top! Tegenover station en dicht bij centrum. De kamer was ruim met goede bedden. Heerlijk terras waar je nog even in de zon kunt zitten! Kamer lag achter de weg dus heerlijk rustig en geen geluid van auto’s.

De kamer miste wat luxe. Geen extra kussens, badkamer klein en miste plankjes/haakjes voor spullen en handdoeken. Ook lag er nog veel stof op de vloer en vonden we een vieze sok onder bed die niet van ons was. Ook een waterkoker voor thee/koffie had fijn geweest. Behang had wat aandacht nodig en van de twee nachtlampjes deed er 1 het niet.

Nice room for the price but very dangerous stairs!

It's a nice room there was free parking but very limited. The receptionist was friendly.

The stairs are very dangerous and very steep! There wasn't a curtain in the shower and the water was all over the place because of it.

we booked the Stad an Land because it was close to the station. We were informed the day before we travelled that we had been moved to the College Hotel which was not close to the station. The 'hot' food at the breakfast was cold.

Good welcome, friendly and helpfull staff.

Ideally located near station. Good welcome, friendly and helpful owners and staff. Quickly changed room for one us who has a mobility problem - with out any fuss. Good breakfast. If we return to Alkmaar we will stay here.

very pleasant stay for a short break

I absolutely loved the location. very convenient across from the railway station and the bus station and close to the centre. The room was very pleasant, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and filling. The staff were very helpful. I would stay again

Convenient Hotel

The hotel is very convenient, located within few meters from Alkmaar's train station.

The beds should be renew, you just sink into them.

Nice clean room, where I could have rested and very nice personell.

the room was clean and neat, the bathroom was clean, the room was warm and nice. Breakfast was good. Location perfect for a person that doesn't know alkmaar. You get out of the train and you see your hotel. Especially when you come from far you can rest and go on.

The dormatory was a bit too small. It could be best used for a one person bed not for two single beds. But the neatness and clenliness compensated all this.

Very nice place, 10 minutes walk to the center and 1 minute to the train station.

I think there was a small issue with the sink at room 3, I could not adjust the water temperature, it was very hot all the time.
