Lovely condo

The condo is good size and in a great, safe location. Communication with owner was great. Kitchen well supplied with good appliances. AC works well. Pool is great. Restaurants, bars, beaches in walking distance. Maintenance requests were addressed.

I was surprised there were twin beds in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The master suite is on 3rd floor, be aware of all the steps for carrying luggage up. There is full bath and a half bath on ground floor. 2 bedrooms and one full bath on 2nd floor. So the guests in one bedroom had to walk downstairs for their bathroom.

Will rent it again if we return to playa de Carmen, great value for money

Close to the best beaches in Playa del Carmen (walking distance) in a very quiet neighborhood. It is also walking distance to the center of playa del Carmen. The house is big and well equipped with a private parking.

Location was excellent, Villa has great potential. Communication with the owner is difficult.

I loved the location- close to 5th Ave, Hard Rock golf course and a small mall, The Reef Hotel offered tours and opportunities to explore the area. The staff at the Reef was knowledgeable and helpful.

The rules of the Villa were not written or explained. We rented a villa that sleeps 6. Most of the time 2 people slept at the Villa. We were denied permission to have 2 of our responsible adult children stay in the empty bedrooms. We did not receive a reasonable explanation for this. Our holiday was marred by this decision of the owner.

Great value, terrific host, lovely property - would stay there again!

The townhouse was perfect for us. Great rooms, fully furnished kitchen, easy to walk to the beach and the town, lovely pool, wi-fi worked great, easy to get a taxi at the Reef Playacar to get anywhere. A much better value then the rentals in town that I considered or any of the resorts. Minerva was a great host who was always responsive and super helpful. We loved the Playacar area's wide sidewalks and lush, jungle-like setting. The perfect home base for exploring the area.

Great vacation home. We loved it.

Well equipped kitchen. Gorgeous pool and very close to the beach. Minerva the host is super nice and made us feel at home

We had a really good time there!

Very spacious, with plenty of room for a big group. They have everything you might need for a long stay. We really enjoyed the pool.

Getting to the citi centre is a bit of a walk, so I’d suggest having a car.

Great deal for a family stay in Playa Car.

The location is great for family vacation. Its in a gated community of 8 villas, very safe and quiet. There is a community pool and veranda to relax. Territory well maintained and clean. The villa itself is nice, clean and quiet comfortable for a family stay. Beds are comfortable, linen and towels provided were clean. Kitchen has all amenities to cook yourself. An access card to near by Reef hotel infrastructure (pools and beach) was a great bonus.

The open air BBQ facility was available only for the owners of the villas but not for the guests.

Host was always on hand to iron out any issues. Excellent customer service.

Family.of five means you getting in to The Reef Hotel to use their facilities becomes problematic and costly of you intend to go there every day.

Exceptional

Minerva is a great host, very helpful and always available! Place is also great, spacious and fully equipped. Solid internet connection on every floor which was very important for me since it was a work trip. Would definitely recommend it!

Happy Visitor

Comfortable and spacious villa for our family of four that includes two adult children. The grounds and shared pool for the condominium are attractive and well maintained. We enjoyed the location which is walkable to town and close to the beautiful Playacar beach. Minerva made sure that Vila Ikal was very clean upon our arrival and provided extra cleaning and household supplies available for our use. Minerva was exceptional in terms of her responsive communication with us and showed an obvious interest in making us happy with our stay at her property. All of us enjoyed our week long stay and recommend it to others.
