About this house rental

Enjoy this beautiful vacation rental located in the resource protection area of the Chesapeake Bay along the Brewers River. You will wake up to the sounds of the nature. As you enjoy your favorite morning drink you will see birds swooping low over the marsh and river such as egrets, bald eagles and many other species. In the evening enjoy a romantic dinner on your deck as you watch the sunset over the marsh and river and you may see some deer frolicking in the meadow at low tide.
Your rental consists of the entire house however basement is excluded, three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining/sunroom, living room with fireplace, library 3 bathroom, , laundry area (washer & dryer).

We loved our stay at Jerry & Lucy's home, it was even better than the pictures. Beautiful & comfortable home with an outstanding view, plenty of space for our family. For other moms with little ones: there was a large ventilated closet upstairs that was perfect for the pack & play, good air circulation plus outlets for the monitor & noise machine. :) We hope to stay again next time we're in the area. Thanks very much for the hospitality!

We had a very relaxing long weekend with the dogs at Lucy & Jerry's beautiful basement apartment. The apartment has lovely decor and very comfortable beds. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 dogs. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the screened porch with gorgeous water views. Would have liked more yard space for the dogs, but we adjusted well. Keep in mind there is no water access from the property. And one of my dogs did adventure into the marsh once and needed a bath. (Just a warning to dog owners with adventurous pups). Lucy and Jerry were very accommodating and friendly hosts. Even though the neighborhood seemed "off the beaten path" we were able to get door dash delivery and a Lyft to dinner one night without a problem. While the apartment has a well equipped kitchen, we choose to eat out mostly. Yummy sushi, Mexican, and seafood options close by. We highly recommend this property!

We had a very comfortable stay. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. The shower wasn't working properly but we were able to use an alternative bathroom with shower that worked beautifully and was convenient. My only complaint about the property is there is no outside water access, you have to drive to a nearby park to access the water. Also the toilet paper is cheap we bought our own.

Property was exactly as described, easy to locate. We chose this location as it was easy access to CNU for the weekend. We were dropping our daughter off for her freshman year and this allowed us to be far enough away but yet close enough if she needed anything. After driving 16 hours with 2 children and a dog in tow, we could not have been happier with the "just like home" rental and breathtaking views. Jerry and Lucy were very gracious and accommodating during our stay, which was the cherry on top. Everything in the rental was very clean and stocked with the basic necessities for our week long stay. Anyone looking to spend some time in the area would need to look no further....This is the place to be!
