An absolute gem of a location. I feel lucky that I found it!

This was a perfect location that was only two blocks away from the beach and one block away from the main strip for shops and eateries.

I can't think of anything that could've made this location better. It was excellent!

Very excellent location

The price of the apartment. Close to the beach. Close to laundry and restaurants.

Air conditioner needs to be able to cool entire place. If you know someone is coming they should have the AC on. It was a sauna when I arrived. The ceiling fan was going but it only circulated hot air.

Comfortable and good value.

Clean and spacious 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, that served our group well.

Just some construction noise the first day in the property but only for an hour.

The property was conveniently located so it was easy to travel to other areas. Very close to the airport. Private parking was provided but you also can park in the street in front of the property.

There was only AC in the bedroom.

Will definitely stay here every getaway.

This property is the only place I stay when visiting Puerto Rico!

I really wish the apartment with the Terrance wasn't made into 2 apartments. This was my absolute favorite.

close to beach also walking distance to different shops and restaurants bars

the place was beautiful, the host was extremely helpful and accommodating. very cozy room with comfortable bed. the location was perfect, close to multiple beaches and tons of great food spots. also not too far from the airport or old san juan. we enjoyed our stay and we hope to be back!

Perfect for a last minute stay resulting from cancelled flight.

Spacious and convenient to beach, restaurants and grocery shopping. Communication was excellent.

The kitchen was limited and useful for only basic cooking. Furniture was cute but not super comfortable.

specious little apartment with good proximity to beaches, restaurants, nightlife. Good Wi-Fi ! nice decorations. nice streets around.

Too many locks and iron gates. a little bit like a dungeon.

Good place nice location. Clean. Unfortunately during my stay ants were an annoyance.

The location is really good as it was close to various beaches, the freeway, gas station, grocery shops, restaurants. The room size was good and it had a AC unit in the room. Thus the cold air has to propagate to the rest of the place, but not problem for me and my family. The unit was comfortable and clean. Management was quick to respond to any messages here on booking.com messaging.

There was an issue with ants in the unit. Other than having the crawl around the only specific annoyance was the ants got on the bed and distracted our sleep. If they didn't go on the bed then I would have no issue. We quickly took this up with the property management whom swiftly took action by spraying anti bug chemicals in the perimeter of the unit and on the outside. They also changed the sheets per our request to see if that helps. However, this appear to not have much of an effect both for the sheets and spray. I did not bring this up again with management and just endured it, since property management mentioned they are a challenged during hot weather, and the ants would come out. So I have gave the place 4 stars instead of 5 because of this. Another point I want to mention was I did get held at gun point at night when entering the complex gates when packing my car for the airport. I reported this incident quickly to property management and they said they will talk with neighbors and review camera footage. I did not count this against the property but wanted to mention it here to help others be aware.

overall very good stay. host was was easy to talk to. checking in and out was very easy.

property was in a convenient location for what we were looking for. was also good priced

there were small what looked like sugar ants on the kitchen counter.

everything else was right! about 10 minutes from old San Juan 10 minutes from the T mobile Arena. and Ubers we’re cheap!

it was very big! and I loved that the rooms were not close together.

the bed wasn’t super comfortable.

I actually prefer this over a big fancy resort!

The apt is very cute and comfortable.Its a 5 min walk from ocean park beach which has the most beautiful blue water !we bought a few groceries to make dinner since it has a kitchenette.The kitchen has everything u need to cook.There is even a TV with Roku,lots of movies. When we arrived it was very clean and the floors were sparkling.The bedroom has a king size bed so it was very roomy ,also the AC is in the bed room. This place makes you feel secure & at home since it has a code to get in & is gated .Definitely want to come back to La Esmeralda on my next trip !!!!

Exceptional

This place made our stay extra special and it really gives you that local experience. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The location is great and the fact that the building is gated makes you feel safe in the evening. A lot of great food options around and the beach is a few minutes away.

Very nice place, owner was very accommodating which we really appreciated. We stayed here for the Sanse featival which was perfect. We got to experience the featival which was about a 10 minute ride away and not have to deal with all the crowds when we went back to our room. We stayed in the Jibaro, nice clean room, cool hammock inside that we enjoyed and a comfy bed. Would definitely stay again next year when we return for the festival
