Generally a good hotel, loved having pool & beach, but pricey for what you get (common to San Juan)

Our ocean view double room was great, felt very airy and we loved the view. No complaints on the room at all, bed was comfy (though pillows uncomfortable). A/C worked well. The location of the hotel is convenient, with plenty of restaurants in easy walking distance and Ubers easy to get. The pool and beach view are beautiful (though see my notes on the pool area).

First, the cost relative to what's offered was not great (particularly with all the added hotel fees that come on the bill at the end). This seems pretty common in San Juan though, not specific to this hotel. Still, it makes things that would have been a minor issue feel a lot bigger when you're getting extra charges left and right. You definitely need to realize the pool and pool area are tiny, so getting a chair there is tough and the pool area only gets sun til about noon (in February at least). Service was a bit mixed, bartenders and waitstaff were great while the guy who checked me in at the front desk was the opposite of warm and welcoming. Pillows very uncomfortable.

Beware minibar charges! Can't swim on beach, not enough pool loungers and umbrellas.

BOGUS MINI-BAR CHARGES. When I asked them to refund it - they charged me twice and refunded twice... net change of zero. This is starting to stink of suspicious. Fighting for an actual refund! You can NOT use the beach here. We could not control the temperature in our room. We had to call the desk to have the temperature adjusted. This is ridiculous. There is a thermostat - but it does not work. Most of the outlets in the room were broken. Not enough pool lounge chairs or umbrellas. The hotel TV channel was insanely loud.

Really nice place to stay overall

This hotel is very nice and in a great location . Really easy to get to nearby restaurants and to Old SanJuan .

The small fridge was not cool in the room , it’s inside of an armoire and smelled weird . You also have no control on the temperature in the room . You have to call the front desk to contact an engineer to up the temperature on cool nights . It’s February and the nights are 70 or lower and the room is 60 degrees and chilly.

So beautiful. Nice clean and beautiful view have never seen anything like it.

I didn’t like how they didn’t tell me whatever was in the bar in the room was not complimentary. No menu or price list or anything just a fridge full to me this is upselling illegal. Smh

We enjoyed our stay and may return.

The aesthetic was lovely, the kid free/adults only was the vibe and the beach view was gorgeous.

I contacted the desk for room cleaning service and even stopped downstairs to remind them of our room needing cleaning service and towels but no one ever completed the request. We didn’t have cleaning service to our room for 2 days and used the same towels both days.

Was a movie

The rooms were nice enough. Showers were fantastic with waterfall overhead. The pool and pool bar were great. You could spend a whole day out there and take 2 steps down to the beach.

Only one ice machine on the mezzanine level. Would be nice to have ice machine on each floor.

there is only one small pool in the hotel and no privacy. Lots of them are non hotel guest. I even could not find a seat in front of the beach.
