El desayuno estuvo bien, los jugos muy naturales y la comida muy rica y variada (buffet). El hamman es un espacio bastante logrado. La arquitectura en general es armoniosa y admirable. La playa cercana al hotel es super bonita y tranquila.
El camino para llegar es de tierra y angosto. No había aire acondicionado y el espacio realmente lo necesitaba. La presión del agua no estuvo muy buena, la habitación no está completamente aislada por lo que entran los mosquitos por el baño. El hotel no da a la playa hay que caminar para poder llegar. La cena tiene un menú cerrado de dos platos, no hay carta abierta para escoger la cena.Al hacer el check in nos dieron muy poca información del hotel, instalaciones, actividades... Nosotros teníamos un itinerario y no tuvimos problema, pero siempre es bueno que te orienten.

ALLES! Dieses Hotel hat uns von den Socken gehauen. So viel Privatsphäre, Ruhe, absolutes Design Highlight.
Es gibt nur einen kleinen Punkt und das wäre, dass es mehr vegan Optionen geben sollte und dass das Personal besseres englisches sprechen sollte, ansonsten war alles absolute Perfektion!
Es gibt ein Spa mit Hammam - bitte unbedingt ausprobieren und nicht denken, dass es zu warm dafür wäre. Es war mein Highlight auf dem Gelände. Man hat da einen kleinen Turm für sich alleine (im Preis inkl) mit einem warmen und kalten Pool, einem Hammam und eine Dusche! WAHNSINN!

El concepto es espectacular, un lugar de relajación absoluta, la experiencia en el Hammam es imperdible, los alimentos de muy buena calidad, un lugar la desconectarte y renovarte, quedamos encantados. El personal de la recepción es muy amable.

Architecture and location
Ufff where do I start …
- rooms were not properly cleaned. Filled with sand all over. We left towels on the floor for replacement and they hung them up filled with sand and we had to specifically ask them to replace them, as 1 example.
- wild life: the hotel is filled with wild life and their not prepared to deal with it. Theres only a curtain that doesn’t even go all the way down to the floor to protect you from wild life and mosquitoes. Besides the mosquitos, we once woke up in the middle of the night with bats in our room, frantically flying above our heads and no one was able to help us.
- Beach Club: non existent, you always have to ask for towels, water and food. They don’t get up to see if you need anything.
- Food: very very poor. Breakfast is supposed to be a buffet, but it only has 2 options of fruit, cheese and charcuterie. Otherwise no bread, sweet, coffee, etc options. From the second day onwards there wasn’t even a buffet due to “low capacity”. Dinner is a 3-course chef menu that besides being low in quantity is also low in quality.
- Service: staff aren’t trained and don’t know how to properly serve. Only a few rooms were being occupied and we were the ones with the longest stay, yet after 4 days, if you past by any of them they would pretend it was the first time they saw you and had no attention to detail of previous requests for instance.
- Hold: besides having payed a fortune for the stay (~600$ a night), they require an extra +2k$ hold at check in.
- WiFi: only works in certain areas and isn’t always great.
I could go on… really poor overall for the price payed.

The modern minimalist design of the hotel. The indoor/outdoor concept is unlike anywhere else I've stayed in the world. The patio upstairs has views to die for on either side - towards the ocean or towards the mountain. The beach was also super calming. Cresencio, one of the staff members was friendly, inviting and the spirit of the place. Loved the welcome area and their dogs Sandy + company
The food at dinner holds this hotel back from becoming a 5 star destination. Although it is included in the room fare - a more extensive Michelin style experience would complement this hotel better. I loved how connected the room was to nature but better instructions in the room on the closing of sliding shutters as well as keeping bugs out would be advisable.

The architetture and Nature is beautiful. Very tranquil and ideal for a couple days of relaxation.
Although a beautiful location surrounded by Nature there is not much to do and alternative eating options. Staff also seemed somewhat confuse but were willing to help.

This is the kind of place I’d like to give 20/10 as a review. They take perfect care of every single detail. The architecture is impressive and everything is just amazing. Loved it, would come back a thousand times especially because of the calm, peace, and charming staff. Oh also, the food, just spectacular

The place itself, the vibe, the architecture, impeccable.
The hotel is unique. A must if you are going to puerto Escondido. Worth every penny.
The food could be better. But it could have been just bad luck for us! (no milk for the coffee!)

Great setup, fantastic to really relax and get away from day to day life.
The only thing that isn't great is the dinner is that include choices are incredibly poor.
2 starters or 2 mains is not enough to choose from and this needs to be expanded.

The design of the rooms.
The service was awful, even the most basic of requests seemed like a chore for the staff. They were always on their phones. Water, towels and other drinks felt like luxury items. The food was just terrible, particularly for the prices, but bad by any standard. There was dog poo around the pool area and the staff laughed when my boyfriend stepped in it and suggested washing his shoe in the reception water feature.

The design of hotel, location and surroundings are beyond amazing. The rooms(suites) are spacious and comfortable for two, the fully open folding doors and roof pool are huge plus to the room. The quiet beach club and hamman are also great features to the hotel facility.
Restaurant is lovely, however, the service and menu could be improved.
The staffs were friendly, but service wasn't to our expectation. It would be great to have more options for the breakfast buffet.

Everything was really beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable, the private terrace and pool were amazing. I especially loved the outdoor shower. The food was fresh and delicious, plenty of healthy or decadent options at Breakfast and Lunch. Dinner is a set menu with with vegetarian option, and it was equally delicious. This is a place for relaxing in nature. I was outside all day, I read books, I swam laps in the pool, I did yoga on the terrace every morning (the hotel lent me a yoga mat), and we went for sunset walks on the beach every evening. The massages were also great! This was exactly what I needed! This is not a hotel filled with drunks by the pool. The staff was so kind and attentive. This is luxury and yet not gluttonous at all.
It is hot there, and we tend to drink a lot of water. Even though they will come and fill up your water carafe as often as necessary, I wish they would also provide reusable water bottles for the guests. If I return, I will definitely bring my water bottle.

they don’t have an efficient service on the beach and they don’t have cabanas on the beach but just a few little sun umbrellas absolute not comfortable for the sun and the high temperatures , if you like staying all day long (!or at least many hours ) on the beach could be e a little bit hard…; also around the common pool there not a shade area…

We really enjoy the location, having spent time there last year as well. Breakfast and dinner are lovely, and the grounds are as spectacular as ever.
We did notice a few things were lagging compared to the first stay (pool was dirty on arrival, hammam wasn't in as great of shape as last year etc.) although anything that was brought to the attention of the facility was addressed when possible.

Amazing architecture and design. makes you feel like you are in your own space as there are not many rooms. all beautiful and detail oriented. the pools are nice and the sauna very beautiful and great to enjoy. the food at the restaurant was also great.
Expected more from the beach bar, including design wise, was expecting something bigger and nicer and able to do more cocktails:
in any case overall amazing.

the architecture was amazing
My boyfriend and I got food poisoning at the restaurant. We only ate there that day so it was definitely the culprit and the food tasted strange. When we notified the staff in the morning they weren’t very apologetic. We asked for them to wave the fee for the water bottles we had to take from the mini bar the night before as we were non stop sick during the night, they said no. They subsequently charged us for a bottle of water to take in the taxi on the way to the airport while we were clearly very unwell.
overall nice accommodation but wouldn’t risk it if it ruins the rest of your trip!

Room and concept were really beautiful and the staff was exceptional I think the layout could be a bit better for privacy purposes but again - a beautiful concept
The journey there was kind of a rough ride and there was little to no parking. The beach didn't really have much of an exclusive or clear indication for the hotel either so me and my partner just sat on the sand. We were not sure when the room pool was last cleaned as there was a bunch of stuff inside of it that was kind of uncomfortable so we just used the hammock instead..

Beautiful, brand new property. Gorgeous design down to the tiniest details. Excellent service. Very comfortable rooms. Delicious food and fantastic drink selection.
Rates include breakfast buffet and dinner. The breakfast buffet was meager with poor quality bread and coffee. The dinner selection was minimal and portion size tiny. There weren’t a la carte options that we were made aware of. You left hungry if you didn’t have a large lunch. The hotel is also 100% sand paths - this is not a hotel for anyone who dislikes sand and/or has any mobility issues (lots of stairs).

absolutely stunning, overall just a super special experience. room just looked stunning. staff made you feel right at home and catered to at all times. location is beautiful, right off a big beach
one small challenge that the hotel cannot do anything about, was the construction around the property. this area of PE is being developed all over, so it got a bit noisy at times and you could smell the gas from trucks. just something to be prepared for, not a huge deal

The staff and the rooms were great. The location of the property is isolated and peaceful and a walk across a dirt road to the beach. We enjoyed the neighboring Japanese omikase restaurant and Mezcalera. We loved the complimentary haman. Casa wabi is an easy stroll down the street.
The included breakfast and dinner were not very good. Nobody travels to Oaxaca to eat mediocre orange chicken and rice. An included breakfast is necessary given the remote location but we would have preferred an alla cart dinner menu. There are only a few beach umbrellas for a 14 room hotel...could have used a few more as they were always occupied. Lastly, the outdoor shower is separated from the room by a curtain that only partially closes. Wildlife can easily fly through this opening.
