I booked this rental last minute and relied on reviews to choose it. The reviews were spot on and I'm so thankful I chose this rental. The view from the home is amazing and the home itself was well thought out and spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Lovely home that was great for a quick family getaway to see Acadia in the fall. Plenty of room to spread out inside or out. Magnificent views. Quick 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia.

What a perfect location! Just outside Acadia National Park, right on the water, beautiful view from the house. We spent every morning in the Sun room watching the water and most evenings around the fire pit watching the sun set! During the day we were out hiking and touring the park - only about a 20-30 minute drive to get to trail heads. House was quite comfortable and well stocked. Just had a fantastic time! Could not ask for more!

We had a wonderful, restful time. The house was clean and just as depicted. We loved being on the water and watching it and the birds. Thank you for sharing your peaceful home with us!

The property was very spacious and had plenty of room for the four of us. We were sisters on a trip to Maine. It is located about 20 minutes from the North entrance to Acadia and was perfect for us. The sun room overlooking the bay was a wonderful place to sit and have coffee in the morning and sit and visit in the late afternoon after our daily outings. Would highly recommend to others visiting the area.

The house was exactly as listed. The home has a gorgeous view of bay. Very clean. The location is great for Acadia Natural Park and Bar Harbor. Would absolutely recommend this property.

The check in and out process couldn’t be easier. The home is in the perfect location, with the most amazing view, any time of day. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, yet you’re close to everything. The house was spotless, and we’ll supplied. We would definitely stay here again if we make our way back to Maine

The house was spacious, spotless and well-stocked with kitchen utensils and paper goods. The views from the porch are stunning, we primarily used this room and played games and did puzzles. It is a 30-ish minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia, we went several times and also enjoyed breakfast treats from a local bakery.

We rented this house for a family vacation and it exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless and well stocked. The sun room was used daily and we all enjoyed finding “treasures” at the shore during low tide. We had 4 adults and 2 children and were comfortable. Short drive to Acadia park and Bar Harbor. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Only suggestion would be darkening shades in the master bedroom.

We had an amazing stay at your home. Everything was very clean and the home was well appointed. We spent so much time in the all-seasons room taking in the views and relaxing. We were so excited to see fireflies in the evening - coming from CA that was new to us and so exciting! It's an easy drive to all the places we wanted to visit while we were there and were happy to have a grocery store nearby! The home has everything you need to have a relaxing and comfortable vacation.

Gorgeous location and lovely setting to relax and have fun

Needing extra room to host family over the holidays made Bayside Cottage the perfect solution. The home was clean, well stocked and so roomy! We especially loved the three-season room with phenomenal views of the bay. It was our favorite place to relax and visit. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous each evening adding to our enjoyment. The hosts were attentive and communication was great! We highly recommend Bayside Cottage!

We loved the view of the ocean and enjoyed the 4pm sunsets. A wholesale place to spend Thanksgiving. There were lots of ladybugs in the house. Added space heaters were useful and often necessary. A first aid kit would have been nice (had a minor incident and couldn't find one). Blackout shades in the bedrooms would have made bedrooms better. Many nearby restaurants and activities are closed in winter. Area is probably even nicer in-season.

This place was amazing! The house is bigger than you think and the open feel to it was awesome. The house is very, very clean and we felt instantly comfortable the moment we walked in. The area is very quiet and was perfect for a much-needed relaxing getaway. The house is near everything, basically, you're 10 minutes away from a ton of shopping/restaurants/grocery stores options. Acadia is close enough yet far enough away that you won't be beholden to the chokehold that can hit the Bar Harbor area. Saving the best for last, the backyard makes this place even more amazing. Just looking out the windows is calming. Going outside and walking along the water at low tide is an experience you have to do. We loved it here, even in the off season of November and already want to go back!

The house was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The night sky was amazing and the sunsets stunning.

This was our second time staying at this lovely property. Veena the property manager, is wonderful. The location is close enough to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor for convenience yet far enough away for peace and quiet. Wonderful views of wildlife from the sunroom. Firepit and chairs to enjoy on cool evenings. Very comfortable couch for watching TV and good wi-fi that allowed my husband and me to work remotely during the week. Trenton has several lobster pounds open May-October. Nearby Ellsworth has two grocery stores and several delicious restaurants (Provender, Serendib, Airline Brewing Company). Highly recommended property.

We absolutely loved this home. It's our 5th time up to Acadia and this house was the perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. We hope to stay here again.

This was our second stay at this property and it was exactly how we remembered it. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The backyard is incredible and we truly enjoyed the views from the sunroom as well. We have small children and the house was great for them. The kitchen is fully equipped making meals easy as well. We hope to come back again sometime!

Everything about this cottage was great. The views, the sunsets, the location were all amazing! As stated in other reviews the sunroom was our favorite place to watch the tides roll in and out and to simply relax while enjoying the beautiful scenery before us. We also enjoyed sitting by the bay, enjoying the fresh air and being immeresed in the beauty of nature all around us. The grandchildren enjoyed exploring along the shore at low tide. The only negative comment is that we could not find a local channel on TV since it was all streaming and the walk from the parking area to the door was a bit challenging for the older folks. However we all enjoyed our stay and found it difficult to leave.

This property and house were absolutely amazing. I would go back in a second. The views were gorgeous and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. Great location to relax, but very convenient to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

This property did not disappoint! The views are absolutely stunning. We saw bald eagles flying over several times a day. The home is immaculate and extremely comfortable. The porch out front was absolutely breathtaking! Highly recommend this home. We cannot wait to go back next year! Veena was great to work with!!!

This was the perfect get-away! I wanted a house that was on the water with a great view. I also did not want to see (or hear) my neighbors. This spot was perfect- it is a short drive to Acadia, close to a fantastic wine shop in Blue Hill, and there are fantastic lobster rolls to be had in multiple directions. The house is roomy and the kitchen was well stocked. The sun porch was the best part- I spent hours watching eagle and osprey catch fish!

Absolutely wonderful stay!

From the moment we drove down the driveway we knew we in for a treat! The house and floor plan were great and very open….but the view! Oh my, it was breathtaking and just what we needed. About a 20-25 ride into Bar Harbor and about 15 minutes to Acadia. We will be back!

My husband and our adult son just returned home after a week's stay at the Bayside Cottage. The whole experience was amazing! The property looked exactly like the pictures and it was beautiful. Everything we could possibly need was provided and the whole house was spotless. The view out the sun room and the upstairs bedroom were gorgeous. We enjoyed the fire pit and searching for shells at low tide. We saw a sea lion in the bay three times, and we had a raccoon, a ground hog, deer, and a duck with 9 little ducklings who passed in front us several times. The locations was close to everywhere we wanted to go: Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, and Acadia. I can't imagine staying anywhere else if we were to return to Maine. Thank you Veena!
