Couldn’t have been more enjoyable

Was in town for my daughter wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better property to stay. It was wonderful and property was beautiful. The communication with paradise was on point from start to finish. Will definitely be back.

This home was so welcoming and comfortable. Perfect for a family group. Areas large enough for the whole group as well as areas of privacy. A beautiful and peaceful place.

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing location, just 15 minute drive from everything you want to see in Santa Barbara. Decor was simple, beds were comfortable, & everything was clean. We had an issue with a broken umbrella while we were there & someone was out within hours to replace umbrella. Great service. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience

We absolutely loved staying at this property! The house was beautiful, the grounds were stunning and the mountain view’s were incredible. We had a perfect week with absolutely no complaints. There was an issue with the kitchen faucet at some point but the management team sent someone out so fast and the issue was resolved with no headache to us. Cannot recommend this property enough. We cannot wait to go back!!

Beautiful property. Had following issues: No tv service for 2 days. No Wi-Fi for 3 days. Had a rodent problem. Construction adjacent to property all day every day

The Property sits in a fantastic residential location just 5 mins drive from downtown Montecito. Great place for couples as we had 4 couples total. The detached pool House/cottage was super! The house has a fun gathering area in the living room by t he fireplace which we used every night! The pool is in excellent condition and they had service people come during our stay to check on the water etc. as well as the hot tub. The only negative is that the overall condition of the property-it is a tad tired. Could use a fresh coat of paint and new carpet in the master. Otherwise-it is a great property for a gathering!

The property lived up to our expectations.

The property was lovely. Lemon trees, cactus and plants with lizards running everywhere. The weather was great and the pool wonderful.

One of the gusts knew how to open the pool. Everything else was Great.

Please know these comments are coming from someone who owns rental properties and I understand that after every rental season you can’t go in and completely change everything, but when you first walk into a property and you see soiled carpets or stains on the main rug that is in front of the TV that you’re going to be sitting at, it is a little unsettling. After our four night stay, I had a list of things that needed attention. I won’t mention them all but a few that were the most bothersome, the front door only opens about a quarter of the way because it has swelled up and rubs on the floor, the dishwasher was not even mounted under the cabinet and it was extremely difficult to use, the cold water faucets in the master bedroom did not work properly, and we saw several spiders. These are just a few things that I would say could use some attention. I wish it had been disclosed to us that the property next door is under construction. You can imagine our disappointment when we arrived to the property and turned into the driveway to see the green construction fence lining the way. We immediately questioned whether the R&R we were searching for was even going to be a possibility. The other thing we wish had been disclosed is that the guest house has no air conditioning, and it was uncomfortable trying to sleep in there at night. I will end on a positive note, the view and the swimming pool in the backyard were awesome. We spent most of our time in the backyard and it was very enjoyable. We would consider going back to this home, but only after some maintenance has taken place.

Perfect place for a relaxing vacation and family gathering.

The house is incredible. Great layout, nice size rooms and very clean. The property is beautiful. Only negative was construction next door to house. On our second day there, the contractors next door spent the day sandblasting their pool. We couldnt even sit in the backyard while they were working between the dust and noise, it was impossible. We wound up leaving the house for the day and explored Montecito and Santa Monica and by the time we got back they were gone. Overall, the place is great size, clean, and beautiful. Would recommend.

We had our team of 6 employees in town for a retreat, and this property provided the ideal setting. It was a beautiful location and offered plenty of meeting spaces, as well as spaces to relax and hang out. Highly recommended!

House was perfect for our family’s graduation party! Enough room, great location.....but traffic yucky!!!

What an incredible property! We stayed here for a girls weekend (9 ladies total) and the home was just what we hoped for and more. The grounds were impeccable, and the pool and hot tub were warm when we arrived. The kitchen seems recently remodeled (which was fantastic as we had a chef prepare dinner one night) and the bathrooms updated as well. We were very comfortable and the place was spacious with two living rooms. The detached casita is huge. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which was great for privacy. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this place! We will definitely book this gem again on our next trip to Montecito!

The home and property offer a serene respite from the busy pace of life. The property is designed to bring the outdoors in and that enhances the enjoyment. The space is compact but flows well for family gatherings and there is plenty to do on and off the property. The kitchen is well appointed and the large outdoor deck was idea for outdoor dinning. The pool is perfect for children and adults. There were many small issues that should be address by management that would have made our stay trouble free. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet escape to enjoy time with family and friends.

Perfect in every way. We could not have chosen a more perfect place for our Girlfriends of 50+ years getaway. It was so wonderful that one night we just brought food home, cozied up, and enjoyed being together. The weather prevented us from spa and pool but we so loved it, one or all of us may come back again in sunny weather! All staff were amazing! S. M.

unbelievable experience as always. this home has it all. Great yard, spa, plenty of room, even a high end casita. The finishes and architecture of this home are top notch. We will be back next year for sure!

My husband and I have stayed at Shadowbrook twice, once with friends and once with family, and absolutely love it. The home exemplifies the relaxed, tasteful Santa Barbara lifestyle. The ranch style details and finishes are gorgeous. The master suite is quite large, as is the beautifully outfitted master bath. There are two smaller bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, off the main living area. The guest house offers privacy and lots of space to relax. The large deck that opens off the living area and overlooks the pond is the spot where we spent most of our time. We will definitely visit Shadowbrook on a future visit to Santa Barbara.

We reserved Shaddowbrook for the week of our daughter's wedding. It could not have been more perfect! It was warm and charming, with relaxing indoor and outdoor space. The separate Guest House is ideal for a couple needing privacy. We can't wait to come back!

One of the best homes I have ever rented. The house was tucked away in a private location yet close enough to downtown for dinners and activities. It has plenty of space for a large group and was so clean (having the hot tub is def an added bonus). I felt right at home when I arrived. The management is super responsive and was great to work with. On the day we left we had minimal clean up to do compared to other houses I've rented in the past (ie stripping the beds and emptying garbage) because they take care of it all. I would def rent this house again.

The entire process and stay was easy, as promised and memorable in a good way. Paradise Rentals was particularly responsive from the reservation process through the stay and to the deposit return. Would work with the group again.
