The home is warm and well appointed. It’s an easy walk (or ride) to the beach and a quick commute to downtown Ogunquit. Plenty of parking and a nice outdoor area

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Lure. Really wish we could have stayed longer! We could tell everything was well-thought out, with all the accoutrements provided there is everything you need. The instructions were simple and dining recommendations were on the spot. Ocean Lure was very clean and had such a warm feeling to it…felt like home. Jeff was very attentive to our needs, answered our questions and provided us with whatever we needed. If you’re vacationing below Portland in Maine, we strongly recommend the Ocean Lure.

The home was very clean, comfortable and a great location. Would have enjoyed the beautiful sitting area in the backyard, but we were to busy, visiting the Ocean, shopping and enjoying the great restaurants. Could not ask for a better place to stay..

This is my second year staying at the ocean lure. Im so grateful I found this place. The location is perfect. My daughter and I rode the bikes provided to the beach everyday. House is always in perfect shape and Jeff is always responsive. ❤️ Owners provide everything you need. We're already booked for next year and plan on staying over the winter.

Nice cottage at walking distance from the beach. Everything you need for the beach and for your stay. Very welcoming host with good communication. It was perfect for our family with a young child.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Ocean Lure. The property was pristine, location was close to all our favorites spots in Wells and Ogunquit, and the home owners were fantastic and very charming and caring. High recommended!

This was our first annual Mother’s Day weekend girls trip. There were 6 of us and it was just perfect! We were able to check in early, as Jeff contacted us to tell us the house would be ready for 11:00 which we never asked for! Bonus! We were able to drop our stuff and venture off for lunch and shopping. We stayed off season so there was no trolly yet so the walk was a little long to Ogunquit but we managed. Thank you Jeff for being the perfect host! We love you house and yard! I would love to return with my husband!

Ocean Lure is a wonderful, relaxing place to be! We were close to many of Maine's coastal attractions, great restaurants, and beaches. The backyard was a perfect place to enjoy a coffee, read a good book, and enjoy the natural surroundings. Many amenities were available to us such as beach chairs, bikes with helmets, and a gas grill for outdoor cooking.

This is a darling little house with everything you need. Perfect location in the midst of southern, coastal Maine.

From the moment of booking Jeff was on top of communications and eager to ensure we got the most out of our visit. The home was very clean, very well stocked, and had all we needed and more. Jeff was quickly responsive to a couple of questions we had during our stay. We look forward to visiting this property again in the future.

This was the perfect spot for a long winter weekend. We walked th beach into Ogunquit and enjoyed a coffee from the market. The walk back was windy, but the cottage was the perfect spot to drink tea and warm up. The house is cozy and comfortable and stays plenty warm even in windy, winter weather. We can't wait to come back.

We stayed at the property for Christmas by the Sea. It was a great location that allowed us easy access to all the ongoing events. Jeff was very communicative and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The house was really clean, had everything we needed, and so cute. We had a great experience!

We stayed for the Kennebunkport prelude and it was perfect for my husband, 2 year old, and myself.

We had such a lovely time at this perfect little cottage. Super clean, very well appointed and stocked with everything you could think of from cleaning products if needed, which they weren’t, back up supplies for bathroom, sheets, towels, etc. The kitchen is small, but totally workable. The appliances were excellent and there was a huge stock of coffee for everyone in the morning. The attention to detail is lovely and the quality of the linens and towels were also superior. The living room was very cozy with big couches and super comfy chair. We would definitely come back here to stay if we’re in the area. We drove down to the beach and even though it was a cold November day. It was absolutely stunning and a perfect beach for walking. Thank you to our hosts who obviously make an effort to make this little gem. A beautiful stay.

It was a very efficient property. It was very well supplied and owner was very accommodating to give advice about the area. Good instructions about the property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Lure. Jeff and his wife, Darryl have a wonderful home that is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your home away from home! Ocean Lure is in a great location central to many activities, great restaurants and attractions. We will definitely consider coming back!

The Ocean Lure was perfect for our stay. My sister and I could not believe how welcoming and communicative Jeff was during our full stay. His suggestions for the area were wonderful and the place was quiet, clean, well-stocked, and centrally located. Because the weather was perfect during our stay, we go to enjoy the backyard and patio. It was heaven out there starting our morning with coffee and watching the birds. Perfect stay, PERFECT host!

We had an amazing time at Ocean Lure. So close to the Ogunquit Beaches, and amazing restaurants. The back yard was so nice and private. Perfect get away place and very affordable! Highly recommend.

Property is in a great location. Quiet and convenient. It was exactly what I needed and wanted! Hosts provided everything you would need for your stay. We rode bikes to the beach and the kids used the razor scooters all evening. House was a great size for four of us. Two 12 year old girls and my mom, who had just had a bad experience at another rental, but enjoy this one!! We love Oguinquit and we stay a handful of times each summer. The beaches are beautiful, clean and people are friendly and respectful all through town. We already booked for next year. Thanks again!

My husband & I stayed at Ocean Lure for a week. The house is beautiful with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The outdoor space is amazing! The owners pay a lot of attention to details! The completeness of the pre-visit communication; the nicely laid out house ; and the provision of necessities (and niceties) made for a great stay. So great that I am not mentioning the rain on Saturday!

We loved spending a cold winter weekend at this cozy cottage. Despite the cold temperatures we were able to walk to the beach both days. Then it was back to the house for hot tea and some reading on the couch. The house had everything g we needed to be warm and comfortable.

Jeff and Daryl's place is great! I grew up in the area and the location is ideal, walking distance to the beach at a very fair price. Well-stocked with good summer amenities like bikes, beach chairs, outdoor space etc. If you're there in the off season I can vouch for common winter beach-cottage concerns like good heat and plowing. I worked from home there for several days and the internet was high-speed and could handle remote desktops & video calls easily. Loved the holiday decorations!

Exactly as advertised and absolutely everything we needed was there, plus more. Jeff and Darryl were SO accommodating and helpful and did everything possible to make our stay perfect, including making great recommendations for restaurants and activities. They had bikes there we could ride to the beach, games to play in the house, comfortable beds and great indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy. Ocean Lure was a perfect home away from home for our family vacation. We hope to return again!

Fantastic place the host couldn’t have been better! Convenient to everything in the area.

We recently stayed at the Ocean Lure and could not have been happier with the experience. The owner was extremely communicative, easily and instantly reachable. You can tell he really wants to "be there" for his guests. It was cozy and homey - not the generic type rental where every closet is locked and it lacks basic amenities. The owners must spend time there because everyday conveniences like hooks on the walls, extra supplies and blankets are exactly where you'd reach for them. Again, not like some rentals where you can tell no one has spent any time actually living there. The only thing this home needs is a little sign indicating where the kitchen light is (concealed by the fridge). lol! We will definitely look no further than Ocean Lure next time we need a place to stay in Wells. (although it is tempting to give a one-star review so that the secret won't get out!)
