We would go back again for sure!!! Loved everything about the place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming, clean, well organized home. The views from the front and back of house were lovely in many parts of the house including the large porch, comfortable livingroom and all of the upstairs charming bedrooms.

We had a great family vacation. Beach house had awesome views, walking distance to plenty of things to do. House was clean and welcoming. 😎

We loved this property for it's location and beautiful views. The house itself is clean and up to date. One of the most fully stocked houses we've stayed in. The bunk room was perfect for our 7 and 4 year old, allowing my husband and I to enjoy to people and seal watching from the front porch. The beach entrance is a short walk. Dianne is friendly and easy to work with. Hoping to book this same location next year.

The house was absolutely beautiful. We couldn't have asked for more. Diane provided everything we could have wanted. The location was perfect, and being able to sit on the porch, sip coffee and watch the seals every morning was the icing on the cake. We couldn't have asked for more! Thank you Diane!

Our vacation was wonderful! The beach house is so beautiful with amazing views from every window. The house had everything we needed and more. We loved going to sleep to the sound of the ocean and waking to birds singing in the Rachel Carson Bird Sanctuary. We could also watch the sunrise over the ocean right from the front porch. We brought kayaks and explored the beautiful Ogunquit River just a few miles away. We can’t wait to return next summer!

The house was amazing!! It was such an easy process and we had no complaints. There is amazing views from all around the house. The best part was being able to watch all the seals right from the porch. The beach was around a 4-5 minute walk. The 3rd floor was a big bonus; my 11 and 8 year old girls loved it up there and there was so many games to enjoy. The short distance to the beach and lunch (the lobster pot) was perfect for my parents, that accompanied us on this trip. We will definitely return!

Everything was perfect, from sunrises over the ocean to sunsets over the marsh. Seal watching and sea glass finding. I do not know how Diane did it but we even got a sunrise rainbow the morning of our wedding. Everything was PERFECT!

This place was absolutely perfect! Beautiful views of the ocean. The beach (crescent beach) is a short walk from the house, or you could drive a short bit to Ogunquit (we did that one day) . The owner was extremely responsive and friendly and even came by to meet us one morning. The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable with every amenity we could have needed. Sitting on the porch in the morning drinking coffee and in the evening having a cocktail was fabulous. Highly recommend!

Great house, just wished we had beach front

We had a great time in Wells! The house was beautiful and only a short walk to the beach which was great!

This house was absolutely gorgeous. The view waking up in the morning from the front bedroom was out of this world. Nothing but ocean. Short 1:47 minute walk (yes, I timed it) to Crescent Beach. Diane was great to work with. The second night we discovered that the grill was broken, she immediately had it removed and a new one brought to us. Great games provided on the third floor allowed for a fun rainy day too. My daughter loved the arcade which was about a 12 minute walk away. There was parking for 2 cars really on the site, but plenty of free on street parking right across the road.

Very nice house in a very nice spot. We also liked the lobster store so close to the house. Diane is s very good host and we will definitely recommend his house. We may come back also !! Thanks Gilles and family

We loved everything about our stay at this beautiful house, the pictures don’t do it justice. Sitting on the porch watching the seals while have coffee in the am and cocktails at night was quite amazing. It was a short walk to the beach and Wells Lobster Pound where we got great take out on more than one occasion. Diane is so nice and very hospitable. We will definitely stay here again and look forward to it.

Another great week at this lovely rental! The home is so homey,clean and the views can’t be beat! Plenty of room for relaxing and having family gatherings. Sitting on the porch watching the Seals or boats going by and the Wildlife refuge in back also was wonderful (We saw Deer,Eagles,Blue Heron,Snowy Egrets). Diane is so helpful and friendly to work with. This was our 2nd year renting here. Hope to return next summer!

Home is beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped. We would have been perfectly happy sitting on the front porch staring at the ocean all week. Very short walk to beach, which was never crowded. High 80 degrees during the week, but home was always comfortable due to cool ocean breeze. Could not possibly find a better home for a week's stay.

We loved our stay ! The house is in a perfect location - private and relaxed but close to many local attractions. It is well equipped with everything we needed and very clean and comfortable! The view if the ocean is stunning and the marsh view is just as beautiful ! Diane was a wonderful host.

Such a beautiful renovation. A perfect house for a girlfriend get together. We spread out enjoying the three spacious bedrooms and the airy third floor and we gathered for yoga, visiting, and eating. The spectacular ocean views were also enjoyed by travelers who parked cars across the street in front of the house and pulled out beach chairs! Sometimes this interrupted our views but what are you going to do! What really took our breath away were the marsh views from the kitchen window. We saw some amazing sunsets!.

This was our fourth year coming to Maine to enjoy this lovely home.Everything was wonderful and relaxing.

Beautiful Home! Great Location! Plenty of room, clean, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Ocean right across the street, porches to sit and enjoy watching the seals. Short walk to the beach ..... fun filled week with family, 2nd stay at this beautiful home!

We stayed at this beautiful Wells Beach, oceanfront home last week. The first thing that stood out was the house was actually even more beautiful than the pictures represented. The home was well equipped, fresh, clean, inviting with beautiful views of the marsh and the oceanfront. The porches are great places to read, have coffee, relax with a beer or glass of wine. There are two parking spots in front of the house and one spot in the driveway. We brought bikes and a kayak. We rode the bikes, into town, to the beach, to church, to the grocery store. It was very convenient and fun! We launched the kayaks from the Wells public boat launch (~1 mile) which had parking and a public bathroom. We saw lots of birds and paddles all the way to the back of the Wells house (~2 hrs, high tide round trip). At the house we grilled, played games, took lots of photographs. During our stay, the super moon was flicking off the water. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. We went to the beach across the street, Moody Beach, Old Orchard and Ogunquit Beaches. Our family entered the Moody Beach sand castle contest and one a 1st place trophy and blue ribbons! Moody Beach is technically private (sections near the houses) so it can get crowded. Ogunquit beach (~1 mile) has a public bathroom and parking was my favorite beach. We also ate dinner and breakfast at various local town restaurants. We ate dinner at Mabels in Kennebunkport, which was fantastic (make reservations). The Bush compound is right down the road; it's a beautiful area. We went to Portland, shopped and went on a lobster boat (Lucky Catch), make reservations. Very fun and educational. You can buy the lobsters off the boat for $5-$10 and we took them back to the house and cooked them (the house has a lobster pot). The layout of the house is fantastic, the property was clean, well-maintained, fresh and welcoming. Diane, the owner answered every email and question quickly and clearly. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative. Thanks for a great time!

This is our 2nd year staying in this lovely home. If you enjoy views this home has them from every room. You can wake up to the sunrise over the ocean and watch the sunsets over the marsh in the evening. Our family loves it here because there is plenty of space for everyone. The kids love the 3rd floor and the adults love to sit out on the porches. This year it rained a bit and we were all so content to stay inside because of the amazing views. If I could cook dinner every night with views like this I would probably cook more often. We also love being so close to the tide pools at crescent beach. The home is exceptionally clean and well kept. The kitchen is fully stocked and the owners are easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for stunning ocean views in Wells Beach area.

I second the first review without hesitation. The house is absolutely immaculate and extremely well supplied. The breeze off the ocean is delightful, and we loved watching seals pop their heads out of the water. The marsh behind the home is gorgeous and full of birds. Beach roses scent the air. The sunset is breathtaking and the screened porch is the perfect place to enjoy every minute of it. Wells is a quiet, family-oriented town. Great rocky areas for tide pooling and close to excellent beaches. I couldn't recommend this home more.

We had a lovely family vacation at this waterfront home. We awoke to lovely views of the water and at night had beautiful sunsets in the opposite direction. The home is well equipped with plenty of plates, flatware, glasses, including those for wine. The only thing we saw as drawback was not having bathroom on third floor. We had the young people with good bladders sleep there. It was our CA. son-in-law's first visit to ME. So we did a lot of sightseeing. We walked the scenic Marginal Way in Ogunquit, went to Wells Beach in afternoon, and toured Kennebunkport. We ate at Mabel's Lobster Claw in Kennebunkport, purported to be one of the 1,000 places you must see before you die and well worth the trip. Lobster macaroni and cheese seemed to be the favorite dish. The lobster pound is within walking distance of the cottage so we took advantage of that. The weather was a little cool one day so that's when we went to Kennebunkport. A good time was had by all; it just wasn't long enough!
