Amazing beautiful stunning......all the words to explain natural beauty all in one amazing place view to die for kids had the best time i relaxed...

Lucky enough to have a serious foodie in our group who utilized the pizza oven for the most yummy meals. Loved the spa & decking area as well. All in the group commented on the comfy beds. We took the opportunity to walk the lake edge each morning & evening from the property. And we loved our day with Totally Tarawera, an easy stroll to the boat from the house, to enjoy the Wairua hotpool, walk part of the trail and again soak in Hotwater Beach before our return. Such a magic long weekend stay to enjoy some much needed time out for all!

We had such a great weekend away! The Bach is so well equipped and is in a beautiful location. The hosts/ owners are very good at communicating and making sure everything is working as it should / we were happy.

Fantastic house, well set up, comfy beds. Excellent for big group or family.

So much to do down at the lake or just relax at the house in the amazing spa! This place has everything you need to have a great time, and that we did! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing place to stay! Ticks all the boxes and has plenty of features to make the stay enjoyable. Some feedback… have a word to whoever replaced a window recently in the bedroom next to where bbq sits… one of our friends found glass shards on the mattress protector and got cuts on his hand while doing so… remind them they should have really cleaned that up. Please also change your advertising in Bookabach app… was misleading us to believe there were 5 bedrooms… one of the couples that were with us were happy to sleep in seperate (bunk) beds so all was well that ended well, though embarrassing for me as I was organising the accommodation for trip away. So you’re aware… there was no chlorine available to top up the spa pool. We looked everywhere. Otherwise everything else was perfect! The Pizza oven and spa pool was a massive success/hit with all of our friends… the lakeside in the afternoons was a stunning backdrop for a few drinks and snacks. Loved the outdoor dining area. We hope to be able to stay again one day soon.

Simply brilliant!

This was an very well equipped house, clean and with fantastic views of the lake and the mountains in behind. There were only six of us so plenty of room. Enjoyed lots of hot tubbing with plenty of privacy. It was great having the lake so close and we had a couple of swims and used the paddle boards and kayaks. Dave (from across the road) was extremely helpful when we arrived.

Tidy, easily accessible, comfortable home! Fantastic for everyone can’t wait to go back

What a gorgeous spot! Waking up to the view across the lake and the sunrise was just heavenly. Everything we needed was supplied and in hindsight we wished we had booked for longer. If you like a dark room maybe bring something to cover the curtains as the sun did pour in and note one bedroom is not accessible from inside the house but we would 100% return!

We loved every minute of our stay. The house was so well equipped and allowed us to really enjoy quality time as a group. The weather wasn’t fab but the house was so functional that we didn’t feel cramped, and the spa and pizza oven were just fantastic. The ultimate getaway.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this awesome bach. Beautiful spot, enjoyed just hanging out at the house and lake, kids loved the spa. House had a great layout to accommodate us all and a separate lounge for the kids to watch movies. Highly recommend, would definitely stay there again.

Was perfect for our family get together and boating activities- with a very short stroll to the lake edge and boat ramp. The fire place, pizza oven and spa all made it that bit more special. The owners were prompt with their communications and very accomodating of our situation. Very pleased with our first experience of 'book a bach'

The boat shed was perfect for our family weekend to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. Even though it rained, we had enjoyed games,boating,spa and pizza making. Great spot, perfect configurations of rooms to accommodate us all with a central lounge and kitchen overlooking the lake.

We booked this property for us an out adult children to get together for my wife's 60th. The place was just perfect close to the lake plenty of accommodation spa and wood fired pizza oven for evening fun and great games provided.Hihhly recommended.

We were a group of 9 (2 families). Beds comfy, warm with the fire and heaters and plenty of blankets. View was beautiful. Loved the seperate Tv room for the kids. Pizza oven and especially the spa added to the experience. Short bush walk to the lake and playground. Perfect spot for holiday in any season ! Thankyou !

Slept our group of 8 comfortably and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely location and amazing spa!

Overall really enjoyed our short stay at the boat shed bach. My only complaint is that it wasn't long enough. Was on the expensive side of things but I would still stay again when the budget allows

Brilliant house in an amazing location. This property has everything you could ever need to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Catering for both adults and kids it’s perfect for families and groups of friends. The house delightful and so are the owners - we loved our stay and will definitely be back.

This is a golden spot to spend a weekend with family and friends. We loved cooking pizzas on the outdoor oven and spending time in the spa at sunrise and sunset. Enough space for a couple of families and kids to not feel on top of each other. Also appreciated the nice tennis rackets to have a hit at the communal court on the lake. The moment we set foot in the house we knew it dm was somewhere special. It has everything we could hope for in a nice relaxing escape from home. Hope to get the overturning to stay again soon.
