We had a great time at this house! It was very clean, organized and had plenty of space to rest and relax. It was close to all the local beaches and restaurants too. The washer/dryer was a plus too!

The house is immaculate from top to bottom inside and out. Even the Weber grill was so clean it looked like it was brand new. Just spotless. Tons of little things that made our stay fantastic, lots of towels and wash clothes, spices, water, coffeemaker the list goes on. Easy location to walk to town although we drove to the beach. Pretty quiet neighborhood with friendly local neighbors. We are returning here next year, truly one of the best properties we’ve stayed at anywhere.

We have been vacationing in Maine for about 15 years and this was our 5th year in OOB. As frequent renters this home is definitely a home away from home and the most lovely of homes we have stayed at. All the amenities and extra touches made our stayed even more pleasant. I appreciated the full kitchen and all labeled items. The front porch was great for evening chats and cards games. The yard was perfect to play yard games and grill out. The bedrooms were perfectly set up for our family!!!! And our children loved the waterfall shower!! This truly is one of the best homes we have stayed at to date and we look forward to returning.

The house is spacious, clean, and well kept. We traveled with 3 adults and 3 teens. The multiple bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect. It is a short drive to the beach or little longer walk. It has everything you could need while away from home. We appreciated the wagon, beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs. Unfortunately we needed the first aid kit, but everything was stocked there too. As described in the listing. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely fantastic time. Despite some rain early in the week, there was plenty to do to keep the kids occupied. Once the sun came out they enjoyed the beach, while we went to Kennebunkport. We highly recommend this property for its cleanliness, availability of anything that is required for your stay and walking distance to town.

This property was ideal for our family gathering in this iconic city of Old Orchard Beach. Washer/dryer was so nice, spacious bathrooms, nice yard, front porch and perfect back deck to relax on. Very clean and stocked with everything you would need to get you started. Great kitchen.

Stayed a week in OOB. This home has everything and is near everything. You can hear the beach at night. Clean and comfy. Great neighbors and neighborhood.

Great place. The most well stock place we ever stayed at. Lots of extras no other place we have stayed. Super clean and great easy communication with owner. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Great food and restaurants.

There were 5 old friends gathering to see the Portland area. This was perfect for us.; lots of room, super clean and included many extra. Welcome baskets, kitchen stocked, items for going to beach etc. The owner has truly made this house a home away from home. We will stay here again if we visit this part of Maine again.

This property was so charming and welcoming! Nancy and Bill truely thought of all the needs their guest needs. We loved all the labels and organization. It made it easy to maneuver around and find items. Our children loved the snack basket and all the board games. The binder was chalked full of useful information. Communication with Nancy was great and responds was timely. Thank you to you both for making our stay so enjoyable.

Very thoughtful amenities and well stocked beach gear for both adults and kids. Ample space for a large family with open floor downstairs. Several separate outside seating areas which we utilized for meals. Overall a great house fir our trip, would definitely recommend.

This house was so organized you could find everything so easily. Nancy was amazing at responding if there were any questions. We have a 2 and 5 year old. This house was perfect for kids. They had so many toys for the house and beach, and supplies like strollers, high chairs, cots, and so much more to help with cutting down the stuff of needing to travel with. We pretty much came with our clothes and toiletries. It is a nice walk or bike ride to the beach and pier. The beach wagon was really helpful to have a good day at the beach with all the supplies the house has. I was so amazed from the moment I walked in. We loved it!

I have never stayed in a vacation rental that was so thoughtfully and completely stocked. From everything you would need in the kitchen, to everything you might need on the beach. We felt pampered as snacks, coffees and incidentals were provided as well as every kind of soap, detergents and paper products you might need. We are so appreciative that we were cared for so well!

Our family of five stayed here and enjoyed the quiet location. The yard was large and beautifully landscaped. The inside was very clean with cute coastal decor. We walked and drove to the beach several times a day. It was nice to have both options. The house had everything we needed and more.

We enjoyed our week in OOB. The house was clean and every amenity you could need was thoughtfully included. We cooked some and found the kitchen well stocked with spices and basics. We didn’t use the bikes or chairs or baby items, but they were a great touch. The washer/dryer was a must for us and we used it daily. It is a decent walk to the beach, but we enjoyed the exercise and the closest beach access wasn’t crowded at all. We were thrilled we could see the weekly fireworks from the upstairs bedroom! It was late and we didn’t feel comfortable walking back at night. We chatted with a friendly neighbor who recommended a local restaurant. We took day trips to Boston, Portland, and Kennebunkport. We’d stay here again if in the area!

FIVE SENIOR WOMEN. SOME NEEDED CAR FOR BEACH OTHERS WALKED EASILY. HOME IS REALLY MOTE THAN A RENTAL, YOU WILL FIND ALL THE COMFORTS OF A REAL HOME HERE.

Wonderful stay at this lovely home. Clean and well stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need for both stay and play. Included linens (which many rentals in the area do not) this was very nice as we travelled from CA and FL to a family wedding in Dayton. Conveniently located close to Old Orchard Beach and a short drive to Ogunquit and Kennebunkport, which all are a must see. Prompt and clear communication from owner, Nancy Holmes. If ever in the area again, would definitely stay again!

It is a great family place to vacation. The amenities cover all your needs while staying there. It is kept immaculate and very family oriented.

Well stocked kitchen, very clean. Note to owner: parking pass expired date and slow sink drain in second floor bathroom sink. Neighbor's junkyard across the street is quite the view.

The house is super clean, in a great location and well stocked. This is consistent with prior reviews. Safe neighborhood and very walkable location -even to the beach. Only suggestion is to replace or fix the doors (bdrm and bathroom). They don't close easily and are loud when open/close. All 4 bdrms are on the 2nd floor. Challenge for seniors to go up/down. Might consider carpeting the stairs or putting strips to prevent slipping. Otherwise, everything was great! Host was very responsible and a pleasure to work with

This property is just as listed. Plenty of space, clean, well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed having beach accessories available, especially the wagon, chairs and umbrellas. Easy, 10 min walk to beach. Friendly neighbors. A friendly tabby cat (Snaggletooth) that visited the front porch daily. Easy and quick access to Portland where we spent several days. The only suggestion for improvement I would add is to have room darkening blinds in bedrooms, if you're sensitive to daylight waking you up, I would suggest bringing a sleep mask. I personally didn't mind this, as we went to the beach several days to watch the sunrise and am a early riser, but one of my family members said they couldn't sleep due to light coming through the blinds. The yard was very nicely maintained and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck and eating dinner in the back yard. Quick responses to questions and although we never used the parking pass, it was a nice addition. If in the area again, I would stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nancy and Bill's. When we arrived the place was immaculate! Nancy left baskets of goodies throughout the house which was such a welcoming touch (and my kid's loved this!) We are hoping to stay at Nancy and Bill's again next year!

My husband and our 3 children really enjoyed our stay at this house. As the other reviews say, this home is perfectly stocked with everything you could possibly need for the week and includes so many thoughtful amenities. The central AC works awesome and was so appreciated when we had a couple days in the 90s. The home is updated and is so clean and organized, but also has the feeling of an old beach house, which we loved. The outside has a nice table for eating outside and there is ample furniture on the front porch and back deck. We were pleasantly surprised that it had the most perfect lawn for the kids to play in. We would definitely recommend to other families with children!

Welcome gift baskets were so sweet with toiletries and lots of snacks..The yard is well kept and large enough for kids and adults to enjoy.Great neighbors,very kind and helpful.1 municipal parking voucher for your trip to the beach or fill the wagon with your beach chairs and take a pleasant walk..slight grade uphill.

This house is in a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors, fenced back yard and many amenities that made our stay wonderful. The house decor made us feel right at home and there was plenty of room for our party of seven to all sit at the table and in the living room for family time together. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone. We will be staying here again at our next OOB trip.

My girlfriend and I took our three teenagers for a vacation in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The communication up until we arrived was good, but we did have a problem getting into the home. Nancy gave us the wrong code and I had to call VRBO to get her contact information so we could get into the house. We were greeted with a very clean home with everything that we could ask for. Towels, chairs, bikes, snacks and so many other amenities. The inside of the home is very nice, spacious and had everything we needed for the vacation.While we were very comfortable inside of the home, there were a number of issues that we encountered:1. A lady came up to our door in the evening banging on the door and windows waving a empty bottle of water asking for us to open the door and have us fill it for her. We were all scared and we called the police. The police came very quickly to check on us and scoured the neighborhood for the lady. They talked to a few neighbors who have seen her before and she cites scriptures and is not mentally healthy. We then texted Nancy and told her what happened. She asked if the lady did anything to her property or our cars and I said no. She said this has never happened before and hoped that it didn't ruin our opinion of the home or neighborhood.2. That same night, there were several neighbors out yelling, playing loud music and keeping us away past 1:30 AM. We did not sleep well and I texted her in the morning about it and Nancy never responded.At that point, we called Nancy and asked her for a refund for the rest of the week. We felt unsafe in the neighborhood with the lady banging on our windows and neighbors keeping us up at night. Our teenagers were scared and they wanted to leave as well. After an hour on the phone, they decided not to refund us the money claiming that nothing has ever happened like this, we tried to extort money from her and her husband and was not accommodating at all.3. The washing machine leaked water and when I told Nancy about it, she said she didn't understand why all these issues.I do have to make a point in saying that the house is very clean inside and you can tell that they take care of things and make sure their guests feel comfortable inside. However, do your research on the neighborhood and look at all the Google Maps when you get the address. It is not the nicest neighborhood at all! We heard police cars several times. The crime rate in the area is pretty high as well.
