This is a fun place. Quite large with 5 bedrooms. We were a little confused by the kinds of beds and where they were. We did see several on VRBO had a name on picture, but the rest turned out that you had to figure it out. Thus, we ended up in a trundle on main floor. We’re in our 70’s. We slept in twins but thought it would be a bigger bed. The porch room was cute, but a awkward to walk into the house or go around the house to use outdoor bathroom at night. No one wanted to walk into the downstairs bathroom at night because we were sleeping right there. You had to walk thru our room to use. We did fine, just need to realize this before you come. Loved the location. Very close to Seabright Beach!

Excellent house for a small multigenerational family vacation!

The immediate family and grandchildren were able to stay comfortably at this beach rental. The location is close to everything we love about Santa Cruz. The kitchen is well stocked in case you forget a spice, cups, napkins etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. It is a place we definitly would like to stay in the future.

This gorgeous house suited us, our daughters and their families for some great family time. Aldo’s, the jetty, the Boardwalk, the beach, the Seabright Museum of Natural History, the Crow’s Nest are all in walking distance. The young ones especially enjoyed getting the wiggles out in the yard. I enjoyed how easily it was to seat everyone together at meals at the long table which also served as a game, craft and puzzle area between meals. We are looking forward to returning next year!!!

Spectacular beach access: two blocks with a second floor gorgeous view of sand and surf. Big enough for our family of five grown adult children and a well stocked kitchen that meant we didn’t have to eat out. But if we wanted to, charming village coffee, tea, beer and pizza just a couple blocks away. Swimming in the ocean and fire pits on the beach were easy and dreamy. Dave’s house includes a claw foot tub and an outdoor shower — easy to get the sand off and keep the house clean. Loved it!!

We will definitely look to hook here again

The rental house was fabulous. It was the perfect size for our family reunion. Love the outside bathroom....and the seating out front. It was the good combo of cozy and spacious We will be coming back.

This home accommodates multi families very well! Yard and neighborhood fantastic and enjoyed by all. Location was perfect for walking to beach and most restaurants,

Very nice neighborhood with easy access to the beach. House is bigger than it looks on-line; plenty of room inside and out for five adults and four kids. We all loved being there.

Everything was organized and it went smoothly. A perfect experience.

The property is well maintained and exists in vintage glory. However, for a beach house it was missing some basic items. There were no beach towels, beach umbrella or water & sand toys. Plus not much in the way of games. It would be helpful if they purchased a new toaster and a garlic press.

Nice large home close to the beach and lighthouse. Nice family home with a nice kitchen and dining room. Only 1 shower so had to make a shower schedule to get ready for a wedding. Fun inside porch upstairs to watch the sunset and surfers.

Beautiful location!! Loved the kitchen and how well it was supplied with cookware/dishware. We cooked everyday! The home fit our family. Because everything is old (couch, couch pillows, tables, etc.) we didn't feel like we had to be super careful of what we sat on or touched. Loved the outdoor shower. The beds need updating, they are not exactly comfortable. If we stay again, we will bring soft mattress toppers. The throw carpets definitely need updating (especially in room with bathroon attached). We would come back!!!!!!!

Wonderful house and neighborhood for a Santa Cruz get away.

This was a special stay for my family. My dad, 82, stayed in this home countless times as a kid. This home was my great grandmother's home from 1936-1987. I have been fortunate to communicate with the present owner, Dave, over the years. He has done an amazing updating this home while maintaining it's charm. This home is warm and cozy. We love spending time by the fireplace. The side yard is also a special place to hang out. I can't say enough great things about this home. It is a perfect getaway and just a few steps from Seabright Beach. We hope to be back! Bart

Beautiful property The location is wonderful so close to the beach My only complaint is that it was not clear that there was only 1 shower We had 8 adults and only one shower in the house Also there was only one towel allowed per person We would not have rented it if we had understood the shower situation We were in town to attend a wedding and getting ready was challenging Also to get to the only shower you have to walk through someone’s bedroom

A well-stocked home just a block from the beach with a few eclectic touches, like the pastor’s room, to keep things interesting. Dave stopped by as we were arriving to say hello, always a nice touch, and let us know on our last day that we could stay past the check out time if we wanted. All of us (7 adults) loved the house and the location.

This is the second time we've stayed here, and both times have been great. Its got lots of room for our big group, ample parking and a good size yard which is rare in Seabright.

Spacious digs, lotsa sleeping space. Was a perfect fit for our group of seniors, adults and kids. Complete kitchen, super big dining room table seats up to 12 people! Cozy living room with ample lived-in seating. Most favorite feature: outdoor shower & toilet! All of us used it and give it 5 stars all its own!

The house and yard were beautiful and perfect for our family. Walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. We hope to come back next summer!

This is a charming old early 1900s home in a great location for family gatherings. If you enjoy stepping back in time and recalling the details of your grandparent's home in a relaxed Santa Cruz environment, this is an ideal place. If you have a nice sized group, members can easily walk the beaches, cycle, and walk to a variety of nearby restaurants and entertainment venues, then meet up together for dinner, conversation or drinks in the evening together in the front yard.

Great location a block from ocean bluff and beach below. Easy walking to coffee and restaurants. Also easy access to other parts of SC. Plenty of space for our group of 5 and can accommodate more. We had a beautiful weekend so we also enjoyed outdoor seating areas late afternoon and into evening. Just know there’s only 1 (indoor) shower. Second shower upstairs would be great. FyI if you’re a sun lover, inside house tends to be pretty dark, especially first floor.

The house was fantastic, we're not a roudy group so things were good, perfect amount of beds, and a charming outdoor bathroom that was perfect despite how weird it sounds.
