Nothing. Parking in the area is a challenge but this is the case for almost entire Chania.

The flat was very modern, clean and tidy when we arrived and was well equipped. Received a very warm welcome and some food gifts which were lovely, thank you!

Great location in the old town with all the restaurants & bars very close.

Very comfortable, clean,modern with high ceilings and spacious. Nice ambience walking into the front courtyard ti get to our apartment with nice fruit trees.

The combination of the great location and the best host ever made our vacation perfect The home made marmalade, cookies and always smiling approach of Alexander really does the job of providing a home feeling We were able to reach anywhere by foot, and when needed to find a nearby parking spot in the nearby streets, it wasn’t thats hard Supermarket and pharmacy are very close. Everything we needed ( e.g. getting a taxi) , Alexander gladly helped with

The apartment was easy to find. We were given fruit, delicious homemade biscuits, raki and bottled water. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Alexandros, who gave us a lot of local information and recommendations for great restaurants. The secure apartment was beautiful: modern, stylish, very clean and well equipped. The air conditioning was very welcome during the heat wave. The location is perfect for exploring the Old Town, being very central and close to all the main attractions of Chania. Alexandros was very friendly and helpful. We needed a hairdresser and a taxi ride to Rethymno which he organised immediately. We had an excellent stay at Aelia Apartments. We would highly recommend this accommodation. A huge thank you to Alexandros for the great service he gave us. Cretan hospitality at its best!

Everything was perfect.

Everything was amazing and as described in the advertise from booking. The host was so friendly and you truly feeling like being part of their family. The location is excelent in the heart of old town of Chania, you have everything around you in a range of 5 minutes walking distance, it was quite, clean, spacious and has everything that you need for a perfect vacation. Thank you so much for your hospitality and definitely you need to stay here if you want to enjour your stay in Chania.

We received a warm welcome from Alexander who provided us with some delicious goodies which was most appreciated. We liked the modern spacious apartment and the large extremely comfortable bed.We stayed at the apartment late April/early May 2023. The location is fantastic just a view steps from the pretty church located on Splantzia Square and 10 minutes walk to the ancient harbour . We particularly liked the restaurants in Splantzia Square itself which had a lot of the locals eating out their which is always a good sign . Check out their daily specials lots of unbelievably delicious Creton food and wine served with warm hospitality. Our taxi driver commented we have picked a good location . He was right and the well presented apartment and hospitality just rounded it all off . 10 out of 10 for us .

We really enjoyed our stay at Aelia apartments. Even though our flight was delayed and we arrived after midnight, we were met at the apartment by our host Alexander, who showed us around and gave us some excellent recommendations for places to eat in the area. Alexander lived just nearby which was very useful if we had had any problems. The apartment is tucked away behind a main square, but was an oasis of tranquillity, with only the sound of bird song and a lovely view from our balcony over the apricot and banana trees below ( we were in the top apartment ) The kitchen was well equipped for making breakfast, or a simple lunch and the bed was really comfortable. Our hosts were brilliant, even sending up a plate of stuffed vine leaves and there was a lovely welcome pack of homebaked biscuits, oranges from their own trees and a small jug of raki. We loved it and thank you Alexander, for your warm welcome.

Beautiful modern apartment right in the heart of Chania. Perfect location with many choices of restaurants all around. Alexander was so helpful and gave us a lot of tips. We appreciated the little extra touches such as biscuits, jam and foliraki made by his wife as well as fruit and raki.

It was a bit noisy until around midnight as some bars play music but it's to be expected in a touristy area.

Great location in the old town. Alexander was an outstanding host who provided great recommendations for restaurants and local attractions. the host Alexander went above and beyond for us. there was home made treats and local raki on arrival. nothing was an issue. we had a small problem with the water and Alexander was on it right away. couldn’t ask for a better host. on our last night Alexander brought us some home made cake and made sure we enjoyed our stay. thank you so much !

The best apartment in the old town of Chania. I have tried many over the years. Very spacious and clean with all amenties available. Alexander was an exceptionally friendly and helpful host. The Aelia apartment is so clean and very secured. The location is just superb. It is a minut walk to the Venetian port, an all those wonderful restaurants. Few minutes walk to the must see Maritime Museum. Then 10 minutes walk to the new side of the city. Both of the 2 Gentlemen Michael and Alexander took good care of us since contacted before our flight to The Beautiful Chania. Alexander was waiting as we arrived by Taxi from the 20 minutes ride from the Airport, to usher us to our booked apartment with a balcony overlooking a well kept little garden. A memorable cup of a morning tea in this sitting. Alexander is a very friendly Gentleman. We shall remember the home made (by the wife) sweets as a gesture of fine neighborhood. Inside the apartment: A Beautiful and modern Bathroom. Spacy Kitchen with a Fridge and a stove. A very comfortable Sofa to watch the TV. And a nice bedroom with all needed. Thank you Alexander for the Good Care. What a Joyful time to cherish.

Very quiet location, great bed (think we had 2 pillows each here which was very unusual and so welcome!), amazingly clean, well equipped for our needs. even had a little rack out on the balcony for us to hang our washing…convenient access to town. Alexandro is the most obliging and helpful of hosts - twice our sink had problems and he resolved it immediately. ever willing to see to anything we needed and was chatty and obliging with information.! On the last day we had an unfortunate problem with our taxi to the airport that didn’t arrive and he walked us to the taxi stand that was thankfully nearby, explained to the driver and got us into the cab. we made it to the airport and the plane just in time. ! we had freshly baked cookies waiting for us when we checked in - and again on the second or third day he came by with more home made goodies - such a lovely personally touch! the coffee machine and capsules were a very nice touch also.

Aelia apartments were perfect for our 2 week stay in Chania. The apartment itself was incredibly clean and had all the necessities needed including iron and hair dryer. Alexander was adorable and so kind. He greeted us with a very warm welcome not to mention of course a plate of his wife’s biscuits, home made jam and fruit from his garden. Despite being next to a lovely lively square, it’s so peaceful and quiet. there are some incredible restaurants close by. a particular favourite was called the well of the Turk, about a 5 min walk from the apartment, nestled in the beautiful old streets of Chania. The food was glorious! The apartment is right in the old town which is just beautiful with lots of winding side streets to get lost in. so much character.
