only small complaint was internet/tv - we were both on our computors and a little slow- overall we will be back for sure! uber was quick to newport every night and back-

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! We stayed in the first floor apartment and found it to be quite comfortable, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. Even though there is an apartment above this unit, we did not really hear any noise from upstairs at all. The host is quick to respond to any questions that arise. We enjoyed it so much that we are hoping to stay again!

The place was exactly as stated. Very clean. Cute and comfortable. Perfect location!

We enjoyed our stay. It’s listed as an apartment and that was confusing. When we arrived we learned that there was an apartment upstairs that enters through outside stairs around back of the house. There is also a studio apartment in the basement. Overall our stay was enjoyable and being in a middle floor apartment there was no bothersome noises.

Perfect. Easy in and out of Newport and all it has to offer. Chill breakfast at home with grocery store right across the way. Full days in Newport touring and walking. Back after dinner to relax and rejuvenate for the next day.

Simply, simple yet very cozy. Love the decoration theme. The house was clean and fully equipped. Plenty of towels and cleaning products. Kitchen is updated and internet works perfectly. Brooke is a very quick response host. I’ll definitely would stay there again. A minute away from shopping centers.

This was perfect for us. 3 women over 40 and wanting a nice, clean, easy place to stay.

This quaint house was clean, quiet and within an easy ten minute drive of all that Newport has to offer without all the hassle of being inside the busy vacation scene.

Very well maintained cottage style home on the outside. The inside was the same. The host was very pleasant and left out a bottle of wine, misc toiletries, etc... I believe she lived in the basement apartment but we never saw nor heard her. In town for a lavish wedding Thrs-Sunday and everyone else paid absurd prices for lack luster hotel rooms. We had a beautiful little space to our own, parking for 3 or 4 cars, and an extremely clean and tidy living room and kitchen which was great for downtime between events. There is also a pretty good sized back yard, but we did not have time to utilize it. Overall, excellent stay and for the price it was a no brainer! Thanks Brooke!

The property was just perfect. The location was great and we were just minutes away from downtown Newport and the vineyard.

We had a wonderful timing staying at Brooke’s place. Very clean, had everything we needed.

The house was clean and very nice. The only that that was a little discerning was the person living in the basement. I wasn’t expecting that.

Spent 5 days in June, house was clean and comfortable for the 3 of us. Brooke, the owner was quick and responsive to our questions and requests. We did prepare some meals at home. Only things we were in want for was a good knife and a salad spinner-otherwise the kitchen was sufficient. It would have been nice if there was a guestbook where past summer visitors would have written about the places and things they did for future guests to get ideas about what to do, where to eat, what they learned about Rhode Island during the week. We found great restaurants for the times we ate out. The number 60 and 63 bus with the number 67 trolley were the buses to take from the house to get to Newport when we did not want to take the car. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

We came down to RI for a wedding and it was the perfect spot, close to down town & still felt like home!

This property was very clean and had been recently renovated. It also had everything we needed as far as utensils and linens. Very well maintained and would definitely rent again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and spacious for our family and had everything we needed. Short drive to downtown Newport.

We enjoyed the cape style house, and appreciated the details that made it feel like a comfortable getaway. The check-in process was very straightforward. The online listing of the property was totally accurate as it is listed as a two bedroom apartment on the first floor, near the Navy Base and close to Newport The pictures online represent the property very well. In addition to what is shown in the pictures, there is also a well-maintained, flat, fenced backyard. Between activities, we had fun playing badminton and having a catch in the yard. The location worked perfectly for us as we were able to enjoy Newport, Jamestown, and Middletown. We did everything from playing tennis, to kayaking, to visiting breweries. The proximity to Newport allowed us to explore and do lots of activities everyday. The street itself is a little busy, but within a 10 minute (or less) drive, you can be at the beach or in downtown Newport! It is a suburban area, with sidewalks in the neighborhood. We brought our bikes and were able to bike around the neighborhood and explore a bit. At the far end of the street there is a main road with lots of stores. My husband drove most of the time, so he navigated crossing this road to go toward Newport. If I were driving, I would have probably found a little easier way to cross this main road, as it’s definitely a little tricky to make the left and quick right to cross this area. We really enjoyed our visit!! It was perfect for us since we were here to visit our grandson in the Navy!!!
