Alles so wie auf den Bildern . Ein Haus am Hang in einem Fjord . Vertrauensvoller Vermieter - Wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt. Schöner kann man seinen Urlaub kaum verbringen.

Het is een prachtige omgeving, gave woning en voor 2 gezinnen helemaal goed, we hadden pech met het weer, het internet was even niet te gebruiken maar ze hebben alles eraan gedaan om het in orde te krijgen. Thanks Torunn

Es ist traumhaft schön an diesem Ort und die Unterkunft lässt einem den Ort auch genießen. Wir würden ohne zu überlegen dieses Objekt jederzeit weiter empfehlen - Urlaub pur - danke. Bleiben Sie Gesund, und vielleicht auf bald mal wieder!

Such a wonderful stay, this house is really something very special. Great architectural design, great art within the house. Everything on the kitchen you could need. Plenty of towels, bedding, cleaning bits. Not forgetting the outstanding view, I sat in amazement everyday, watching the ever changing light and reflections on water. We have great fun on the boat, visited lots of places nearby. I hope we will be able to come again on our next visit to Norway.

Den traumhaften Blick auf den Fjord hat man sogar vom Bett aus. Wohnraum und Küche bieten eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Es gibt viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, u.a. eine direkt vor Ort abgehende Fähre nach Ålesund. Wanderungen können vom Haus aus gestartet werden und eine schöne Badestelle am Fjord ist in der Nähe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Sprakeloos! een prachtige woning smaakvol en gezellig ingericht, aan alles is gedacht. Door de grote raampartijen kan je blijvend genieten, ook bij slecht weer, van het steeds variërend panorama. Wanneer de zon van de partij is wordt het terras nog hemelser. Voor de recreatieve koks onder ons is er gedacht aan een kruidentuin. Een totaal belevenis!

Ein absolut traumhaftes Haus in einer wunderschönen Umgebung! Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Aus jeder Perspektive eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Die Küche ist besser ausgestattet als unsere eigene zu Hause, das Cottage ist mit viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet. Der Ort Urke ist klein und charmant, wer die Ruhe liebt, verliebt sich in dieses Haus und diese Gegend.

Großes sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf den Fjord und die umliegenden Berge. Man ist schnell in der Marina und kann so auch das zugehörige Boot ausgiebig nutzen und genießen (angeln oder die Seele baumeln lassen). Einer der schönsten Orte unserer Norwegenreise!

Thrallheimen is truly a wonderful place: Unforgettable views, all along with complete peace and quiet. This is the ideal place to get away from it all. I had splendid weather (no rain in two weeks!), and spent most of the day outdoors, but even with bad weather the place seems perfectly equipped: With an outdoor heater and a roof-sheltered outdoor sitting area, the terrace can be even enjoyed in bad weather. Communication was very friendly and helpful right from the start, and Torunn really goes the extra mile to help with advices and updates about traveling, and tips about the area. I would definitely like to come back again! Highly recommended!!

We spent two weeks in this fabulous cottage in July. The photos on the website are accurate in terms of the cottage itself, but can't do justice to the outstanding view. The cottage was very clean, bright and comfortable, with everything we needed, including a good sized fridge and freezer. We cooked in the cottage every day and found the facilities for this to be excellent. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of spare sheets and towels. We took the boat out a couple of times to fish, but found that we had just as much luck fishing off the pier near the coffee shop and bar - we caught and ate a lot of fish in Urke. We mainly went to Urke to hike in the mountains and we were not disappointed. We hiked many of the trails, including Slogan, Saksa, Leknesnakken, patchellhytta, klokksegga and a few further afield. We found most of the trails in this area to be well marked, if a bit muddy and rocky in places, but enjoyed the hiking very much. The supermarket in the town is small, but adequate for most needs, but didn't have anything gluten free, if like me you need to eat that way - we had stocked up before we got to Urke, so it didn't matter. There is also a small shop selling locally grown tomatoes, cucumbers and if you are lucky, strawberries, although we were never there at the right time. Communication with Torunn was excellent from start to finish. I highly recommend this property.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus. Die moderne Architektur, die sich wunderbar in die Landschaft einfügt, hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Blick aus den großen Fenstern ist sehr, sehr schön und hebt die Grenzen zwischen Innen und Außen auf. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, es ist an alles gedacht. Wir hatten mit 2 Kindern viel Platz. Sehr gut haben uns die Bilder der Besitzerin gefallen, die sich perfekt ins Haus einfügen. Zum Haus gehört ein kleines Motorboot. Es hat uns viel Freude gemacht, damit über den Fjord zu fahren. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr gut. Sie hat uns viele wichtige Tips gegeben, z.B. zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir haben viele schöne Ausflüge gemacht. Z.B. nach Runde und Alesund. Die Wanderungen auf den Saksa und zur Patchelhytta haben uns gut gefallen. Ein Highlight war die Via Ferrata in Loen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an Thorunn

We spent 3 weeks at Thrallheimen, mostly on the huge terrace or in the living room with it's large windows, both with spectacular views over Norangsfjorden. Inside and outside the house we found everything we could think of, there even was a Weber-Barbecue. Everything was clean and comfortable. The communication with our host Torunn was very pleasant (her paintings around the house are really wonderful!). With the boat that lies in the small marina at Urke we went into Hjorundfjorden, we had wonderful hikes starting at the house, we went to see the glaciers of Jostedalsbreen, had a passage on Geirangerfjorden, went all the way up Trollstigen and into Alesund and and and.... The best was an evening at Union Hotel in Oye, where we had the best meal ever served to us! We really can't thank Torunn enough for very special holidays and do recommend Thrallheimen to everybody else!

Malgré les quelques averses, nous avons pu profiter des sentiers de randonnée, sortie en bateau, cueillette de myrtilles et mures... et visite de fjords et villes à proximité. "Nous avons passé notre 4e séjour à Urke et pour la troisième fois chez Thorunn. La première fois nous étions chez Rune c’est aussi une magnifique demeure dans la même rue, également sur Homelidays. Le logement et la région sont toujours aussi magnifiquent. Cette année nous avons été déçu de ne pas avoir été avertis lors de la réservation, qu’une nouvelle construction allait démarrée à 5 mètres de la maison, ce fut très bruyant, impossible de manger ou de s’installer sur la belle terrasse.Cette construction pourra perdurer et pourrais dénaturer un séjour calme dans cette maison."

This house is wonderful! It is big, clean, light and it has large windows and a huge terrace facing the fjord and the mountains. The views around are terrific! The road to the house (we were driving from Oslo) is all the way fantastic and picturesque. Our company of 7 people had a very good 1-week stay in the house, enjoying every minute of this peaceful and quiet place. Although the weather was not so warm in the beginning of May (around 10C), we loved our stay and would love to return one day, maybe this time in summer :)

"The house was every bit as good as expected. The surroundings were breath-taking and the house designed so that none of the fabulous view was "lost". The cottage was in a quiet location and very well equipped with a small but very adequate store close by. The climb to the house, on a well kept road was easy by car. It may have been a little taxing on foot for some elderly people. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the cottage and hope to return to this exceptional place."
