This vacation home has true Dutch heritage and style, such charming decor. Accommodations were everything we needed and very comfortable. We really enjoyed visiting with the hosts and the country setting was just right for us!

WOW! What a great peaceful location in nature. The apartment was much cozier as shown on the pictures. It had all we need. The environment was so nice: alpaca's (Snowie!!), sheeps, cows, horses, chicken, dogs and a cat and maybe I forgot some animals. The owners were so kind to us and to our kids. The kids could play all over the place and they were allowed to help with the animals. This is a fantastic place for kids who are not afraid of animals, a lot to play. The 'bedstee' was really nice and all windows had screens to protect for bugs. I really hope that next year we need to be in that area again so we can book again.

There was nothing we didn't like, we had a fantastic stay! Thank you Mart and Ellen :) To our opinion the photo's do not give a good picture of the apartment. The reality was much better as indicated on the pictures. Normally this is the other way around..

Admittedly; nothing out of the ordinary

Lovely stay in the beautiful farm of Mart and Ellen. The house is very comfortable and has - for kids a big plus to have a very exciting box bed (“bed stee”) plus all amenities you could possibly need. The big draw however is the location- away from everything in a beautiful peaceful setting with lovely animals on the farm (we were greeted by the cute dogs upon arrival and enjoyed feeding the alpakas!!). Look forward to our next stay!

Thanks a lot! We had a wonderful stay at Ellen´s and Mart´s cozy house! They were execellent hosts, we had everything we needed, in particular safe outdoor-playing options for the little one and a lot of fun with the animals. It´s a quiet and rural area, but also a good starting point for excursions (e. g. the area around Wihje, Zwolle, Lelystad, Griethoorn). To sum it up: Perfect for kids! Feels like time travelling without sacrificing comfort!
